I was going under the impression that you can have all three shipwrights built and you're able to use them interchangeably. Now that I think about it, that doesn't sound very realistic lol

Will it be possible to consistently 100% scroll and trade good voyage missions in the pincer if you've maxed out your crew/ship? Assuming level 10 in all crew & captain at level 10 with +400 from traits: 2400 * 5 = 12000 from crew 1800 from captain 1350 * 2 from deck 1400 from hull 800 from figurehead For seafaring, reduce the total by 1000. Then multiply by 1.03 for morale and combat and 1.05 (or 1.03*1.02, not sure) for seafaring. That gives you the maximum of 19261 for combat and morale, and 18585 for seafaring. The requirements are 20k single stat. So, no, not all scroll/trade good voyages can be 100%ed. Can certainly get closer than I would of expected though! Ahh well, it's a shame but I suppose it isn't too bad. Looking at a 100% success rate would be nice though. Thanks for the math by the way, Quyneax. I assume the x1.03 is for the shipwright? The shipwright gives a ship boost of 3% and then an additional M/C/SF boost, which was the only one you included, so add another 2% in there I believe. Not sure if that's what I'm reading though I thought that was covered. Shipwright gives 3% (the 1.03*) With an additional 2% to stat of your choice, which was covered in the 1.05* (or might be 1.03*1.02). In the math it is assumed you go for the 5% (or maybe 3%+2%) seafaring boost because that is the best choice because seafaring falls 1000 short of morale or combat on the ship upgrades so therefore is in most need of extra boost. He said "and 1.05 (quote) for seafaring" which I assume he means if you choose the shipwright that favors seafaring, although that isn't true: all the shipwrights are the same boost for M/C/SF. So I think in the end he made the error of only counting 3% when in reality it's 5%. Not sure how much of a difference it'll make, just thought I'd point it out

Looks like you can drop stuff in the port now. I'm assuming they just allowed this so they could 500% test for duping glitches or something lol
-
Don't remember who said it, but I remember seeing "1 random per day, no more no less", the 'no less' part is not true as I just went from reset to reset with no randoms.
-
If i remember right, resource payoffs were pretty low (120) at the beginning of the bowl. Like other regions I assume it increases I just realized I'm almost to pincers and I still have a Scythe combat member in my crew...I never even noticed lol
-
Finally...I hate this skill so much Almost to pincers!
-
I think the occultist does, as the whaler is known for plate and convict for lacquer.
-
I'm at 29 plates and I have been for a while now, even with the whaler showing in my port frequently. :(

I sent out 2 scroll missions at almost exactly the same time the other day. When I checked them they had both returned. I got the first scroll which finished up my death lotus helmet. I then went into port management thing and switched my scroll preference to tetsu helm. I then checked scroll and it was a scroll for tetsu helm. Long story short it appears you can change scroll any time before you check the results. Alright thanks :) Also, @ Batt, I prefer having 2 judge of dice. I don't really find myself sending out 2 double/triple stat voyages at once. Then again, I'm still at three ships because I bought everything else first
-
Kinda annoyed. Bought all my deck from the bowl and I"m left with 1.7k chimes. I HAPPEN to re-roll my first cb based 10k captain. :(. Also, not sure what to make of this..I had 3/4 of tetsu helm done with a scroll mission underway, and then after the reset today I got another scroll mission and I forgot to switch the targeted piece of tetsu. What happens if I send it? I just switched it to the laminar, but I'm not sure if it'll come back with a 5th scroll for one piece of armor or something lol
-
4 plates off of being able to make a testu helm. Too bad I have the scroll only for the legs lol
-
Reroll voyages, and get ones you like. If you want focus on jade of course. Its not good send low chance voyages in trade good missions as in case of fail it gona hurt. @Be Stinson I noticed that in Bowl region witches become uber useless. As better ( easier ) is to make single stats missions than double ones -well maybe for me. i've noticed they're really useful as her stats add up to 2k+. i tend to not re-roll voyages a lot because the one time i did i ended up cycling through 6 and just ending up with a 300 cherrywood lol. Maybe its just i'm lucky with doubled sf and morale
-
Does anyone remember how you can sort your crew in the roster to get a better look (visually) to what types of crews you have? Can't remember the page # people talked about it a while ago
-
I think it happens when you log, from my experiences
-
I've gotten 3 10k chime captains...ALL of them focused on seafaring lol. Bought them anyways just because. Kind of annoying though.
-
don't think i'll be getting the convict anytime soon then lol
-
Anyone know of a way that doesn't make you wanna commit suicide to train thieving? I want 90 for the convict and I'm 78 right now and pyramid plunder/metaphites makes me wanna die
-
Yep it came back with the 10% reward but then it seems to have disappeared. Just to clear that up
-
Off topic from the boats and FoS, but I'm not sure what just happened but I had the whaler off on a mission with the assassin in port. Didn't wanna do any of the assassin (was just 20k xp and 20 spices) so I re-rolled visiting adventure and it put the whaler back in the port with a new set of missions, but it still says the mission from before (from the whaler) is taking place. Not sure what's gonna happen but I re-rolled a 600 jade voyage so hell yea E: Also, sent off a boat on a mission with the FoS post-todays update and it's coming back in 17 minutes. I'll post if it stays on the boat or not..not expecting it to though
-
I don't understand what you mean. What 5 things count as captains? if that's what you mean. You already own 5 captains...You can't own more until you dismiss one of your current ones
-
Made an account just to discuss on this thread, as it's only the thing I do on RS lol Just got into the bowl last night, pretty good progress from having school/work etc. First voyage re-roll I got the mission for judge of dice which is funny because the same thing happened when I got into the scythe and it said I unlocked judge of dice at the time Also I sent out my first jade mission last night at like 90% with my only merchant (from scythe) and it died lol too bad it was the only shop w/o a lifeboat
