  1. This is supposed to be fun btw, so if you arent having fun reading/posting here theres something wrong
  2. Actually, you know what lets not get into this again lol. I was just checking some hours on merediths timecalc and roger al needs roughly 1200 hours other than farming for 200m all. Thats pretty cool. No xpwaste is also up there but has a lot of farming left. Alkan and dragonseance are within 100 hours again, however most of dseances hours are coming from fishing and div, which fishing will be faster because he no longer has to woodcut in c2s, so this could be close. Both of those players have bonus xp in div, and some in fishing, i believe dseance has enough to finish fishing and alkan does not, but alkan has higher fishing xp. Jdel is at about 1300 hours left and geel is at 900. So Jdel could take rank 4, but i assume it will go to alkan or dseance at this rate. That will be very close however
  3. Did i say rs was a way of life? I mean on that topic, i think if someone wants to make sacrifices to achieve something thats their choice. Regardless of what it is (obviously there are exceptions) i can respect that, even though i personally don't think those sacrifices are worth it. This isn't even necessarily talking about rs, or gaming in general. This could be a sport, a game, a job, or any goal, and it doesnt even have to be a massive goal either. As for the "way of life" comment idk if that was supposed to be aimed at my statement or someone elses. I would honestly compare it more to a competition/esport more than a way of life. Its something people enjoy competing in, and on the extreme end of it, those competition include how many hours you can play in a day/week/month/year. This isn't coming from personal experience because i have never seriously gone for a record, i have done some top 42 monthly stuff but nothing serious, i just know that there are people who really enjoy this from a competitive standpoint. Im not disagreeing with bendover entirely, nor do i disrespect his opinion on this, i just don't agree with him saying that it can't be a respectable thing to no life this game. No one said it gave monetary gains or anything, i compared the commitment some give this game to the commitment others give to other goals/passions. Thats all, and it was more on the level of sleep sacrifice i was comparing
  4. He got an attack level and was like "guess ill skill now" lol. Like the most efficient player arguably is skilling by accident
  5. Ya people act like some people who play a lot of rs are no lifers, but in the professional world there are people who also no life, maybe even harder. I doubt there are people on the scale of drumgun, but there are definetly people pulling 12-15 hour days, plus commuting, etc, working off of 4-6 hours of sleep. I heard a quote somewhere saying "if you want to achieve be prepared to stay up for 3 days straight sometimes, if you arent doing that your doing something wrong" That wasnt the exact quote but you get the idea. People no life everything lol, its just what some people chose to do
  6. To be honest many people who work and go to school only get 4-6 hours of sleep. I personally get 6 hours of sleep during the school year, i should get more but honestly im not even tired throughout the day and don't feel tired until i go to sleep, which leaves me with 6 hours of sleep. 4 hours seems difficult but ik there are people that sustain that who arent gamers. Many people have crazy work schedules or just happen to stay up late
  7. Time to 200m all update Jake-1,425 Jdelacroix- 1,380 Geel (demonseance) - 1,012 Dragonseance- 2,014 Alkan - 1,957
  8. Gratz Wisely Done on 120 all skills, being the 4th person to do so (5th with suomi but he doesnt have it anymore).
  9. All of those up to 75 are pretty much the same as they are on oldschool arent they. obviously except for summoning. But range is just killing stuff with range, woodcutting isn't c2ing at that low of a level, so that leaves willows and whatever to 75, which im pretty sure is the same as 07, i forget if its teaks or what not. Prayer is whatever bone if the most efficient to use, so that depends on how much you value your time. Mining is iron for most of that unless you want to warband some of it. Other than iron idk how granite is on rs3 but maybe that. Construction is exactly the same, so oak larders most likely. Crafting is leather stuff until you can do green dragonhide, then maybe throw some bstaffs in there. And summoning i would camp moss giants while you train range cuz they are good for golds for your lower level summoning, then after those im honestly not sure. Maybe waterfiends but they could be too high level
  10. FPF is a great example of a good update. For content to be used it needs to be worth your time, but the xp rates were justified. Id rather see faster methods come into the game like that. And also, even though fpf was great, i still can't believe silver hawk boots ruined agility when it was in such a good place. The bonus xp helped some people with the monotony but the xp rates were still boosted just slightly overall, and it also got more people to BA and work as a team. It was bringing people together and also got people training agility more. Its too late now to do anything about sh boots but its just a shame they did that to agility when it was so good
  11. World hopping for livid farm can be like 30k or more points. I know that during that double livid weekend it took me about 5 minutes to learn how to do it and i started out getting about 30k and after about 15mins i was getting like 37k. So im sure people who had more than 15 minutes of practice (there was only 1.5 hours left in the weekend when i was told) could probably get even better than 37k an hour.
  12. W000000000000000000000000T, maybe i will do warbands now. I need to thats for sure, if only the friends chats werent horrible
  13. Also celestial dragons for slayer takes some questing, and that 6th age circuit for div takes even more quests than glacors. The tasks are usually useful, not sure how many are worth their time tho. Varrock armour used to be good before mining was destroyed (RIP in pieces LRC) Also does anyone know of a good heist guide, one with the best xp/hr. Ive never done heist do you have to pay to afk the whole thing or is that actually the best way to do it? If it is someone pm me to heist with them, or if you want to do sc pm me also.
  14. What is the efficiency of getting a comp cape. Do the bonuses and stuff even out with the time spent. I guess the only time spent would be doing the quests/reqs that you wouldnt already have to do for skilling methods.
  15. O nvm, well there were some people with bils more xp than me and i was within 1k hours. Must have gotten omen wolf mistaken but i honestly cant remember all the people i looked up. Just seemed wierd to me but it might be accurate idk and also can i get a link to this calc again?
  16. That wouldnt even be a bad idea tbh, can someone link me to that time to 200m all calc. Im not going to lie i think it is a bit inaccurate tbh but i mean what can we do, no matter what it will be off. Its just like i compared my self to some high xp players, such as 0men wolf, and i was like less than 1k hours behind them lol, and i think thats with farm at that really slow rate.
  17. The odd thing is, with gathering skills in the past, there hasn't been a use for the resource other than with another skill. Mining doesn't use ores, smithing does. Woodcutting does use logs, fm and fletching does. But with div, the energies already have uses within the skill, such as using it for better xp and obviously creating divine locations, porters, etc. So, if energies are used in the next skill then the prices would probably rise, but that would also mean making divine locations and using energies for div training would become more expensive. I'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing necessarily but it is a bit strange that div is like a skill and a half, instead of purely a gathering skill, but they couldn't do it any other way because just a pure gathering skill would be so useless for so long I'm sure people would be
  18. Off topic for a sec, but honestly woox is a [bleep]ing god. By far the best pvmer, like he won those pvm competition videos by a large margin every week he entered which was like every week, and he was like rank 5 osrs. Idk man hes just really good at rs, idk if any one has seen his osrs sara solos but those are pretty awesome. Anyway, any updates on how good araxxor is for cash, they said it would be better than qbd, but it doesnt appear to be so, atleast not yet. The drops are very similar (some are just double the qbd drops) but the kills are a lot longer than double so it doesnt seem worth it. however the t90 weapons would make it better
  19. Ya araxxor is a tough cookie to say the least. But im sure once everything is figured out and the best way to do it is figured out, it might be good money, especially because its solo
  20. Well then why is he even thieving? like why not just fletch then thief
  21. I wonder what roger al is doing, ik its most likely traders and fletching, but the ratios are odd
  22. Ya i liked that video, you've got some serious achievements under your belt. Also the music was cool
  23. Just because you are on the internet and on a forum for an mmorpg does not mean you have the right to be disrespectful. This is humans interacting with humans, just as talking to someone irl is a human interacting with a human. You have the ability to chose if you are going to have a pleasant interaction or an unpleasant interaction. The only difference between doing it here and irl is the lack of consequences, and you would expect people to be decent enough to not abuse that and realize their actions still have power over others. Treating others with respect is the best way to avoid conflict and unpleasant experiences.
