I was a former range 2her and range tank (range tank owned all in f2p, period), but after EOC, you can really see who uses their brain...

for F2p, wear full rune and warhammer/kite, then kill deadly red spiders at varrock sewers. If you can't wear rune, don't go.

In all honesty, the Christmas tree hat isn't exactly the coolest looking hat out there... The fish mask was ugly, but still had emotes and gimmicks. The price rose incredibly high in a relatively short amount of time, but after the craze died down, it crashed. It's worth nothing now, and still dropping. Keep this in mind when you consider the christmas tree hat. (besides, christmas fanatics would probably go for a santa hat instead).
