So I've been trying to get a rune hatchet at iron and steel dragons, no such luck so far. Also completed my first Grandmaster quest :) Should be able to do Heroes' Quest shortly, which will allow me to do Throne of Miscellania + Royal Trouble. Bit undecided about what to put MTK on, herbs are good, but so are the maples for fletching + seeds, while the mining should bring in quite a few gems for porters.

Haven't updated in a while due to being busy and just plain laziness :) Anyway, I've unlocked Temple Trekking and Burgh de Rott ramble, so I'll be doing that until I have enough silver bars for 56 Crafting and full Batwing.

60 Attack and dual dragon daggers achieved :) Pretty decent tbh, was using either an addy 2h or rune mace + shield before, so I've gone up by 2 tiers in some cases. Next goal is to complete Swan Song, so completed Shilo Village.

Congratz :) When will you be getting 99? How much exp/hr do you get? I only tested it for an hour but I got ~65k which is good according to some, but not according to others, so slightly confused.

Thanks very much :) This got me to 108 combat from 99, which seems a bit ridiculous, but I'm not complaining, Smoking Kills needs 130. Also ~25k off 60 Attack, so I'll do some more Slayer to get that, and then it'll be back to questing. Runespan has conveniantly fallen away until I get some more bonus exp (don't judge me, it's part of the game *sob*) Also I'll try and do the quests that give faster access to Barrows soon, and will attempt a couple of welfare runs there. Might need some decent food first. Or possibly the Giant Mole, for that Dragon 2H ;).

Didn't end up doing more than an hour of Runespan yesterday, but meh. Completed the Grand Tree and am well on my way to having Monkey Madness done :) So once that's finished, I'll be very close to 60 Attack, which means the possible weapons will be mineee : - Dual dragon daggers - Dual dragon longswords - Dual dragon scimitars They're all meant to be equal aren't they? So dragon daggers would be the best bet as they're only 60k I think, compared to 200k? Will keep doing quests until I can't now, currently at about 100 QP.

So I've been doing some Slayer lately, the goal was 37 for Killerwatts - which I've now achieved. They drop air/fire battlestaffs and mystic fire staffs, which are tier 30 and 40 magic weapons, a pretty good upgrade from my spider wand and orb ;) I achieved all the drops I wanted from Killerwatts relatively quickly, also nearly 55 Attack, so dragon weapons aren't far off. Also 83 Runecrafting, and I found a Law talisman, so I can start piling them up with the wicked hood :)

9 to go. Been doing a bit of slayer also, up to level 31, but I've hit a bit of a block. I'm pretty much 50 Attack (40 exp to go) so I can wield Rune. However, there's no easy way to obtain a two handed rune weapon (that I know of) and off-hands seem to be smithing only. Could camp Kalphite guardians for a rune 2h, but that could take a while/ be rather difficult... Any ideas? Could train attack straight to 60 and move onto dragon, where the off-hands are in stores, but that's ~170k exp. The upcoming weekend will hopefully be a big one for RC gains, as long as I don't get set another history essay <_< Also, last Six Nations weekend, hoping Le France win, or we do by about 60 points *unlikely*. Would be nice to unlock Ports soon :)

Haven't updated lately, but progress has been made :) Also, England beat Wales in the Six Nations, which made my Sunday (especially after last year, if you follow rugby, you'll know why). I've done a decent amount of quests, on ~65 quest points at the moment, and I've completed a few good ones like Dragon Slayer, Lost City and Fairytale 1 (also unlocked fairy rings). The Treasure Hunter keys I got from the questing earnt me about 300k bonus RC exp, I think. Still got a nice chunk left, as shown below. It's nice only having 10 levels left, the countdown can begin :D Considering cutting it down to just 90 RC, rather than 91, but we'll see how much time I have to play when I hit 90, if it's quite low (some exams in a while) then it'll be 91.

So I played a bit more than I expected lately, mainly due to the damn weather, and made some decent progress :) So Runespan is so much more fun/faster with P2P, and I gained about 50k bonus exp from treasure keys (quest rewards) Talking of quests, did some good ones like Tree Gnome Village and the Waterfall quest, netting me some decent experience rewards. Goals for this week: 77 Runecrafting 10+ all skills I think a good idea this week would be to spend Monday to Friday at Runespan, and then leave to play at the weekend, which might be my playing plan until 91 Runecrafting :) This way I'll build up the daily challenges without wasting time by leaving Runespan... Mwaha, global domination, here we come. Also, if you're reading this, would you be so kind as to look over my goals list on the first post, and suggest any you think plausible. I'd like to compile a comprehensive list of items that any self-respecting account should have by the time they reach the comp cape ;)

So I've obtained some membership :) Don't really see why I was staying F2P, it's just so slow :( Making a bit of progress, but I think it'll really start to get going when I start doing lots of quests. I'd do some now but I'm not on my desktop, and I cannot stand doing anything to rigorous on my laptop. I'm pretty happy at Runespan :).

Roughly 120k Runecrafting experience since last post, only 5.5 million to go :) I also tested out Revolution for a bit, got to 22 Magic and 17 Constitution, I didn't have many abilities for it to use, and was only at the trolls with 50hp, so it was a bit silly...

So, let's get going :). My first goal is to get 91 Runecrafting for double nature runes and access to POP. This is going to take awhile, especially in F2P, but I only have limited time at the moment anyway. This and getting the blog into shape will take up time. Not got off to a bad start, I'm thinking 70 RC by the end of this weekend, just as a random estimate. Current progress:

I think it will be interesting to see how many monster one has to kill to get to 99, so I won't be putting any quest rewards on Slayer, and will not choose it on bonus exp lamps or anything of that sort to get the number as accurate as possible. So I play in the DIY playstyle, or 'Do-It-Yourself', as you probably know from reading some of the other excellent blogs on this forum.
