  1. Was just about to say the same thing.
  2. the animations are too quick.. you dont have enough time to read the text Yeah, I realized after I posted it. That other signature beat mine by a long [cabbage] anyway.
  3. Obviously I didnt win, if you still want it you can use it. I can change the speed and everything of it changing.
  4. Cigs is a term for a ciggerrete lol. I think you mean sig. Also, it doesnt mater what version it is really, you should be able to do some decent work in it. Im guessing you probably have somthing like 7.0. Thats what I use. I think photoshop cs has came out too which is the newest version. It took me awhile just to learn the basics in photoshop and I still know barely anything. Its not like ms paint, its more difficult. Read tutorials.
  5. I think the background looks amazing, the guy could use some work though.
  6. Definetly want the colorizing tutorial, nice drawing too.
  7. Bumping this up for the 45 and 100k drops in starting prices, the new sample, and the free avatar with every order.
  8. Eh I wasnt sure on the value of signatures. What I did was really basic compared to what im considering of doing. I should probably make some better examples and repost this at another time.
  9. Hello Fellow Runescapers. I have a decent amount of expierence using various image editing software, I am no expert and am underskilled compared to many here. I am offering original signatures though, if you are sick of the abstract signatures and want somthing that is still eye catching, I can help you. As of now I only have one example of the type of work im doing, I want all the signatures I make to go along the same pattern. A varying background color and design are availble, so are the objects which will appear in your sig, all the text is up to you. You can pick any font you want also, pick fonts from this website only, http://www.1001freefonts.com/. If you ask for a font from any where else your request will be ignored, sorry. You may also choose the size of the signature, the larger the sig the more expensive it will be, keep this in mind. This is simply a sample, everything is up to you. You can have your levels, etc, anything on it. When ordering a signature from me keep it coherent and be incredibly descriptive. I dont want somthing like this "yellow, lobster, level 99 archery". Although my signature are not incredibly amazing, they still do take time to make and the more descriptive you are, the easier they are for me to do. If you want images in your signature from the runescape world, take the items out of your bank, and then take a screen shot. I can do everything from there. Include these pictures when ordering, if you need a free image host that you dont need to sign up for, use http://www.imageshack.com. When ordering, include the color, basic background design (nothing incredibly graphicly heavy such as explosions etc, I want them to be simple like the one above). Now for the prices, the beginning price for a signature will start at 25,000 gp. As the complexity increases the price rises. If you are looking for an animated signature, these will start at 50,000 gp. The types of animations I am willing to do is say a flashing rune 2 hander to a dragon long. You could have your name large and then all your "favorite" items just showing up one after another on the signature, then restarting. I hope you get the point. Also, matching avatars are free with every order. Im not sure if this will succeed or fail as I know I am not the best graphic artist. I am also willing to accept trades. Tell me what you want, ill give you a quote, you give me the go ahead, I do it, show it to you witha sample slapped on it, you pay, I take it off and send you the actual version. The images are available in png, jpg, and gif. Even all three if you want. Animated signatures are restricted to the gif format. New Example -
  10. Yes, planeshift was a huge deal for awhile. I think they went about releasing it wrong. They released the game with no actual objectives, you could just walk around. Then slowly added on to it, really really lame. I know the last I heard the servers were horrible and it took like 5 hours on cable to download the game, not because of the file size but because of the server suckage.
  11. I didnt read this entire thread but felt I would comment anyway. I too am an RS senior citizen. I started playing back in early 2001. The game has changed a lot, the people who play the game have changed a lot. The entire game was a lot more "packed" if you could call it that. There were much more known clans and groups. This was because there were so few players. You didnt have to read a forum to know a lot about what went on in runescape. The mod's were much more user friendly from what I have seen lately. You knew who the mods were, you knew the mods. Hell a lot of us were pretty good friends with the mods. Im not saying that people arent anymore, its just back then it seemed more common. Manager was the cool moderator (who I still speak to on a pretty often basis) and rs guide didnt seem as well liked. I remember lezas organization type of deal. This was a huge thing, many of the more famous players were involved in this. They were given donations very often and the donations would be given out in games I do believe. I, and many others were known as the runescape board trolls. Basicly what we did was piss andrew gower off a lot. He pushed us to the off topic forum which kind of sucked. Eventually the board trolls died out due to the removing of the forum and we all kind of just spread out. I think the removal of the forums has changed the game in a huge way. That was a major turning point, after the forums were taken out the website was changed etc. Also, andrew gower use to have a lot of multi player mini games on the runescape website. These were pretty cool 3d games, connect four, just simple things. Also, if any of you want a blast from the past, visit http://www.archive.org and check out some of the old stuff that was posted on the forums and the classic runescape website if you have never seen it. The quality of the game and the quality of the players has gone down a lot. To me, and I think to a lot of people, runescape wasnt as much of a game as it was a community in a made up world. The game was a lot less commerical. You didnt see people selling 5000 coal ore very often, not that I remember at least. There were a lot of events that took place in RS which were pretty big, birthday parties being one of them. Probably the most famous birthday party was none other than justin chrono. Anyone who was there probably will remember this, was pretty cool. Im not sure if they have them anymore, but, there use to be drop parties. A player would drop a ton of expensive or atleast Ok items which party attenders could grab up. This was a simply awesome thing. Again, there was more of a sense of community than competition. Most of you have probably never seen the actual original runescape. Rs classic is not the original. The original was really really bad. Andrew gower at one point posted some screen shots for people to see. So much more, so little time. If you want to find some old RS pics with some known people check out "runescape hidden camera" I think its somthing like that. An old website. Edit - Also, soon after the forums were removed the gowers implemented a weird chat filter, it was messed. It was so buggy. EditEdit- If anyone can remember, there was a point where I was black holed. Being black holed was basicly having your character in complete darkness in a knowwheres land. Some people were put on the second level in the game and could walk around, I wasnt unfortunetly. I was also muted for about three months. I was pretty known for the black hole incident, after a forum post and many replies they un-holed me and set me free. EditEditEdit - At one point as the game was rapidly deterorating many players but their hopes in a new free game, planeshift. I believe thats the name, many rs'ers planned to quit rs and go to that game.
