One word: PvP. (Ok, maybe that's 3 words... ) Also, just because it's expensive does not mean it should not be given. I don't think there is anything worth setting the precedent of giving p2p items to f2p. why not? i currently using addy arrows for my training, the price for rune arrow is almost same as the price needed to cast blast spell. wave spell is totally not expensive and can be given to f2p as long as jagex solve blood rune problems. and i agree with Sonic, PvP and "Also, just because it's expensive does not mean it should not be given."

is ice giant there have any safe spot? i go there few times, but it is quite hard as the ice warrior is quite troublesome unless someone with twice their lvl. actually i want to say about this, why f2p combat triangle is so favour melee, as the damage for ranged and magic is terrible. ranged is hard to train because of its lower damage compare to same lvl of strength and spell. release rune arrows together with yew bow wasn't such a bad ideas. mage is cap at fire blast 16 which is already maxed out at lvl 59, and keep in mind its slower attack speed. i thinking of making snare and wave spell available for f2p, but wave spell required blood runes, which is member items. increase magic damage staff also a good idea. even if jagex dont want to release higher damage of magic and ranged to f2p, but at least release some better equipment to improve accuracy of it especially magic accuracy. i want to hear all your opinion on this.

not new skill :ohnoes: only the "orb" and trade for f2p update this week. but not bad, i can finally trade more with my sisters. RC update is not related to us, but its price will surely effected, hopefully cheaper. the "orb" is quite cool i must say

i say is that most of the skill can be afk or afr or afc by turning the speaker volume higher. rc have thing like choosing which runes you are making, GOP, using tablets, runecrafter glove, how to go altar and back, rest and etc. what i mean is that rc skill also involving playing GOP, FOG too. and i am one of the ppl that wont use magic for anything but damage spell. this make my hp lvl quite high for average, and all the lamp go into hp. since i dont plan to up too much def and att. and Greedy, ya. i also thinking about the same thing, since most of the ppl are f2p, i expect the raw metarials(if any) for the new skill to raise sky high, and wont drop any time soon. skiller and raw meterials for other skill will reduce, and expect mechs to play with all the market price.

actually i see some ppl cast air strike on lvl 1 rat, or air wizard wearing full armor that decrease magic stat. if not wrong, they are somehow have some extra protection against it because of its nature, thus can continue for quite sometime. however with recent updates, you can no longer AFK for more then 5 min without moving cursur inside runescape. Sonic, not is not quite true, it is just that RC is more variable to talk about, since most of the skill is semi AFKable. but i can see this this thread will popular very soon since the release of the new skill.

what we mean is that we dont need to pay attention to what happen in runescape, as the sound of the skill end, that is the time we alt+tab from other thing or web site or go back in front computer and continue the 'afk' process. for me, i rather take the slowest method rather then fast if involve any losing money. eg is that i smelt silver ore to bar from 20 - 70 lvl, range / mage greater demon and etc.

i only focus on increasing my hp, so i rarely use magic for other purpose. for def, the effect went down in f2p, its usefulness only shine for p2p or pvp. FM is fast, but what the point if there is no use to it other then cooking while fishing? most of the time i am afk sufting net or doing other thing and RC need to active all the time, so i might only up RC some other times when i really free. yes, the tablets is very worth it, since its very fast, it teleport it just 1 step outside of the alter. but you also had to count the times you need for you to gather the tokens to exchange it.

I don’t remember that there is any ice giant in edgeville dungeon. haha, i never had problems with overcrowded hill giant in edgeville dungeon, since my time is totally opposite with peak hours, most of my time, there is only about 50-60k ppl, where i can easily find spot in the dungeon, but after I find out wildy had hill giant too, I been training there since that days. Most of the time I even go to w1 to compete for best spawn. Revs is can be easily avoided by going to clan wars. Beside ranged exp higher for ice giant, but I still like hill giant, one of the reason is that better exp for prayer and quite common limp roots drop. 99% of my magic lvl come from combat, since i want my hp lvl to be as high as possible while def lvl i stay at 45. is there any use for up def lvl any higher? seem to me that it only help reduce % of getting hit. fm is something useless for f2p, i really hope that jagex release something for f2p. i really agree that smith and craft skill is really not that popular anymore since that the product can be easily brought at G.E. for me, the only reason i up rc is to play the minigame. i think most of the f2p is also same, since it required so many running. most of my smith lvl (currently 70) is come from smelting silver bar. since it is the only way to up smith lvl without losing any money.

i am pure f2p just recently reach 1k total and access to RSOF. i am currently training ranged at hill giant in the wilderness for prayer exp and sometime greater demon at volcano. i just wondering that why most ppl perfer to train prayer at ice giant, where hill giant is much more easier?

ok, actually my processer is 1.5ghz(just enough:)), i just add some "spice" to see anything extra comment can i get. oh well, i guess i had to bear with it until can buy a new one then

if you say that all the cache already loaded into RAM, but then, why the memory(RAM) usage will keep on increasing while playing? then increasing RAM would not even help a bit since I not using paging and the memory usage rarely over 500 while playing. but it is weird that CPU and RAM slow to read out data that already store in the RAM.

i talking about the map that i go through everyday many times. my cache folder is over 100mb for an f2p, so i think is roughly all place i already visited before. other files is small, but the main cache is quite big. so i think everytime need to access large cache to retrieve such small size of map maybe could take sometime. this PC is my father buy for me while he ask the salesperson for the cheapest while my older and much more slower PC spoil(that barely able to run RS2 when it come out) this is my current PC specs CPU 1.4ghz 1gb ddr2 ram integrated graphic card, just enough to barely run HD, but running HD is faster then SD (lower CPU usage and smoother) win XP SP3 i using Data RAM Ramdisk and AR soft RAMdisk(quite good) i maybe going to buy a new PC sometime late end of this year.

Joe, as Roscular say, i can make use a portion of the ram as fixed disk, it is automatically create even before windows is load (some is after) where i can use save and load the data in it using ramdisk or batch file. Roscular, what you mean by that? what i experience is that everytime move from place to place, runescape had to load the map which take about 4-5 sec, sometime even more then 5 sec. Try imagine that when you are in combat with monsters or players.

ya, this is what happen to me, i had try some way like rename the shortcut to the same name (.jagex_cache_32.lnk) and put in the Windows folder, but it still create a new one. is that anyway that can address it to use other place?

the main purpose i want this is to increase performance, as the harddisk i had is quite slow, where ram is much more faster.

oh ya, you guys just refresh my memory about maze, but is it really random for lamp? like 99% have 1% nope?

i didnt get lamp nor book of knowledge. @Kaida23 as i say, before this, my EVERY random event gift contain 1 of it (lamp or book), as i already get through maze few times, i remember i get something that can increase my exp

I just finish Quiz Master while cooking, i open the gift and shock to see that lamp didnt in 1 of the selection. this is my first time where random event didnt give out lamp, is Quiz Master the only 1 didnt give out lamp?

will fire strike/bolt/blast had higher success rate with staff of fire rather then staff of air?

just now i just arrive at crafting guild, i started mine gold. i got a sapphire, then i get another sapphire from the same rock again. few rock later, i get emerald. 3 gems within 1 min. i thought 1 rock only contain 1 gem, and to get gem, is something like a mini random event already

thank you for reply but cannot extra rune? then what this? then did it mean that although i 58 level, i can craft 7x air runes in the minigame? but i still need to confirm the color. i like green color, but i always play on yellow team.

i didnt see any gain in runecrafting stat in the minigame. if i buy the green set, will it improve both green and yellow team i join? the color is just optional choice then?
