actually i think for lower lvl ranged, sinced they are mostly pures, dont need the accuracy. However, if they were fighting an armored opponent of the same lvl, then it might be beastly. With 99 def wearing nothing, it is very accurate. Pretty much equal to the shortbow because its essentially a 80% hit rate vs a 90% hit rate (with sight) I havent encounter much 40 def pures, but I have seen people with 90+ atk/str with 60 def. They are easy to hit through, but you need the full rune or else they get very accurate high scimmy hits on you. At cmb 107, with 40 def, they prolly have 99 atk and str. sighted maple need approximately level 50 Dungeoneering lvl. if for normal training, then shortbow is better(speed) it is very good if you need accuracy rather then speed. it is good for fighting high lvl mobs with high def (greater demon)at low ranged lvl or short term combat where you need accuracy, such as PvP and FoG. since it can even hit through full rune quite good. as for gravite, it is indeed strong , but the recharge fee make it not worth it to use. Reward for within dungeon use and surface :) double confirm after their Q&A weeks ago. just hope there at least some for f2p :(

erm, your LP lvl is 70, but why you say low? my first time play FoG is when my hp is about 65 and i still able to use all bandage. if seem like you like to wait until low LP only use, then its major mistake from you there. yes, you have good point about how the minigame work, and it is weird ppl say runner noob. actually is them who noob for not running and lost. oh ya, not only skiller can help open high skill door, they can use money trick to get alot of resources, make thing for the team and not to say because of lvl 3 exist, the average lvl of the mob will be lower. interesting thing about wine of zamorak, someone confirm this? 14-15-4-60950438

your Firelotus is a bit similar to my 1 years ago. with your combat lvl 74 right now. if you like dungeoneering, then stop train melee and start on ranged and magic. 99 fm is something like wasting money and time, it is almost useless, i personally stop at around 64. just raise to the lvl you think is high then stop it. however it is the fastest skill to 99 in f2p other then that just follow Sonic advise

this is very same as there are guild like mining is just extra place to mine, rc to play minigame, prayer to gain access to extra prayer point. where year of 'update' didnt rework/improve it. jagex say that this skill is what they had in mind for several years, but now it end up like a minigame rather then a skill. jagex say they will implement the skill in more wide place, but i think they need to get rid the mind set that play dungeoneering is just for token. there is nothing much benefit from it other then reward.

actually skill world might even more ppl then same amount of ppl world, zammy wine is a member items, f2p had no use of it beside selling to GE or p2p. so many ex-member or member will use skill world to get their zammy wine. thing like rimmington yew, mining guild, popular training area etc also same, many ex-mem and member, using the advantages of less ppl in f2p world.(once again, just like dungeoneering) and Sonic, your strength/attack lvl is allow for 2 more lvl before will lvl up CB lvl, so it is FINE to get the last 2 exp. the last time i go W1, got some ppl at there training kill the monk, 1 over 100 CB lvl manual pick it and 3-4 mage telegrab, there is too fierce to try to compete with them wasting runes if failed to get it.

rc earch with glove is the fastest way without losing money, so that is it i think. rc minigame is various, team with good / pro ppl then victory is in hand, but usually lost team ppl leave after 1-2 altar zammy wine, although i long time no do it, but busy world always got ppl, and empty world had slow spawn. i usually dont make fast money, usually i just play and train and the money will eventually add up. beside rare, any extra money is no use beside buy skills such as prayer, smith and etc. gravite weapon does had is strength and usefulness, however, recharge every 10 hours and 1M recharge fee is too much. something like powerlvl for high lvl ppl only. yup Sonic, with prestige 27, i had nearly minimum of 3k exp from F1, and can be as high as 10k, with a team of 2 ppl only. imagine 5 ppl large with all bonus room.

well, actually it is kind of the opposite, most boss will still hurt even though you wear the correct full armor, the boss can still hurt you even you on the protection prayer, the most important thing is that you prepared enough food. yes, spear is more versatile, however spear's slash bonus is not good while spear's crush bonus is still acceptable but most of the time it is fail to hit well armored warrior. (which is something Sonic, Plasma and me experienced, we 3 keep on miss on the warrior and prolong the time) which is why weapon like longsword and battleaxe together with magic come into play.

it is according to your own preference, everyone starter items not same, as long as you can easily hit and rarely miss on mobs, then it is fine. however, if you are going to make your own death runes and air runes, then why not make fire runes at the same times? for someone that can craft own death runes, then it might be better off with spinebeam longbow, a melee weapon with good slash and (stab or crush) prefer with slash and stab although less mobs with weakness stab, since got magic that hit well armored mobs. then 125 fractite arrows. most mini boss is about slightly stronger then actual boss, if no use prayer. but most boss is easier off with range and magic.

i hear ppl saying that longbow sight will not only improve accuracy, it also increase speed by 1, can anyone confirm this? i had it myself also but not sure how to test it. count using game tick or second or ....? from what i experienced, it is better to redo frozen and abandoned as quickly as possible (C1? maybe) then focus furnished floor on getting at least 2-3 man to get crazy exp. btw, jagex really need to find a better way to find party. so far i been party with the few same ppl such as my friend and sonic.

i'm 56 lvl. anim7 also. it is something you had to bear with, since there is the 1 of the only place with most ppl there.

not you run out as soon as you saw it, it is you already out of it when u saw it. sometime run after you saw the word might be late also. the only hit i get hit from this boss is the stone throw at me. best bet is never stay on the same spot for more then 1 sec. oh ya, Plasma, this is what you asking for weakness however do note that there might contain incomplete info such as weakness 'melee only' without stating which style or some mistake, like dungeon spider(m) which available in f2p also.

actually as long as using the correct attack style, while 2-3 ppl pile on it, on protection prayer as soon as they face to you, then it should be no problems. provided altar is available to recharge before boss. i really recommand up this skill ASAP before jagex add harder theme and mobs and raise difficult on mini-boss and boss. oh ya, and longbow sight really pwn in FoG, with opponent reduced stat, even if they wear full runes, i had near 95% hit rate. FoG will had a hard time to balance back until most ppl are able to trade higher reward such as gravite.

i rarely get hit from this boss, its "rain" will stack and keep on increasing. so just keep on running few square away every ONE hit you make. eg. enter room, hit, run, hit run, and cont... without any further delay. actually if solo, every boss is quite easy if you make some preparation like a few short fins. armor not actually important in solo, but in party then that is different case(boss stronger) beside Furnished boss, other boss i can just kill it without eating any food, except Luminescent Icefiend which i need to cook some short fin just incase,

i didnt get best equipment from the start if do C1, i get tier 3 melee armor. i forget about the mage armor, but it is not the best either.

@Sonic actually i started to wonder, did your starter items often contain fractite equipment? did you notice that the few times we team, we get each other starter items on the table? like fractice spear and kiteshield from you and spinebeam bow and fractite arrow from me. wow, i never get runes nor essence at the start. my usual starter items is, all is 99% on the table where pickaxe and hatchet is 50% 2 bow (tier 5 and low tier) 2 arrow (tier 5 and low tier) 1 ranged armor (usually tier 3 top) 1 low tier weapon (tier1-3) 1 low tier pickaxe or hatchet. (tier1-3) few each from all tier of food after see sees_all1 stat and items, i thought is depend on the 2 higher stat of combat(strength and magic out of "melee,ranged,magic") however, my ranged and magic is much more higher then melee, but i dont get any runes of essences, dont tell me it also consider RC lvl into it?

oh, then it mean that combat lvl between 80-89 is the best for now. lol, before this i thought that everyone is getting about the same items from the start.

oh, so ranged is not about the same as stab, O.o what are you both saying, i ALWAYS get spinebeam bow (short or long) together with one low tier bow (2 types of bow), around 50 fractite arrow and around 40 low tier arrow (2 types of arrow) as my starter items on the table. maybe jagex did something on this, need high ranged lvl? not sure all kind staff can be appear in your inventory if you start with C1, just restart few times to get the staff you want.

it is pretty clear, using fire staff then you can save 1 spot, where using catalytic staff, you can hit slightly above average. here is a link to refer to Catalytic Staff it is better to bind arrow, since runes is easy to rc, but i cant rc death runes, argh.... wanted to up rc, but too slow and hard. actually i thought of 1 thing, bind a melee weapon with good slash attack (i recommand battleaxe), staff that you like and fractite arrow. the purpose is that you will start off with Spinebeam short/long bow at the start, so i would rather reenter the dungeon to get the longbow rather then bind it. ranged is about the same style as stab, magic to armored warrior, combine with battleaxe that same speed with longsword, and in case your first room is warrior. most boss is better off to keep a distance from them.

although the warrior are lvl around 70-90 and wearing higher tier equipment, can hit with very high accuracy and about 180 damage but it can be easily killed by using fire blast within 5 or 6 hits(100% hit rate for me) with protection from melee with great accuracy.

you dont have to quote my whole reply, it contain other unnecessary thing inside, but oh well... really? thats interesting to know. oh ya, having high accurate is indeed deadly. it really help ppl with just lvl up to 45 ranged to have godly accuracy that they cannot imagine. actually this would partially solve the problems of ranger weak while low - med lvl as low damage that ranger can deal compare to fire blast at 59 magic lvl or str lvl. OMG, full rune and can still that high ranged bonus, perfect against rev hunter. can you testing more about ppl at 40 def full rune and 99 def wear nothing? ty

melee also consist of 3 attack style, which is very clear that using other 2 wrong style will result low accuracy such as on full fractite warrior. the nagative stat of all equipment how good is it to give f2p equipement such as spear, maul, boots, gauntlets what is the feedback about the look of the equipment the favour of short or long bow while the stat is very big different. catalytic staff that boost magic damage boss that reduce stat, bind, freeze with the lvl difficulty gather data to create better, stronger, or smarter boss? give us more RC altar for magic and much more, but lazy think

however jagex keep saying that they are not using this as a future plan to rebalance combat triangle, which i think is fake. they clearly using Daemonheim to test combat triangle balance and weakness of all mobs. however, if this is the case, then we probably need more then 1 or 2 weapon rather then most ppl just keep scimitar or 1 of the melee weapon they like in bank.

ya, longbow sight can hit through full rune very well, which make many ppl whine it being overpowered, but as Plasma say, ranged is accurate enough beside hitting full rune. but most ppl dont pvp and we would rather jagex give us higher ranged damage. while magic need both higher accurate and damage, which jagex did a good job here. actually i was hoping something different such as different weapon name and weapon look like, dont just stick to xxx 2h, xxx longsword. since this skill suppose to be special, unique, so its reward also need to be unique, special. there are alot of ancient or tradition weapon used by ppl many years ago, such as keris, knuckle, scythe, katana, sabre, tomahawk, zweihander, polearm, trident, explosive, whip, bolas, kunai, shuriken, sling, blowgun, chakram, boomerang, 'magic' wand(rather then magic staff) and some spell or special magic effect inside tablet or note, prayer that can be used to write charm for special protection, sealing purpose and etc. can give the weapon to p2p to broaden weapon selection. haha, writing so much and it is already out of topic, but have a look here.
