  1. Nice, liking it. Love the rays of light from the top of the image, colours are not too monotonous and it's got a very unique texture to it. Like the font too, perhaps could use a little glow? Just personal preference...Very nice work indeed :) (ps, i dont actually want the sig, just CCing for no reason :))
  2. yea, not really much cc you can give on something thats just a pic out of a movie. the jumbled up text is pretty bad, and there's no real variation from it on the text above.
  3. needs a more defined border (looks like its in overlay mode?) text is terrible. style of font doesn't suit at all, try something techy. obviously colourized, which is not a good thing. other than that it's pretty much your run of the mill basic abstract sig, i guess
  4. The 3 big meals or 6 small meals thing is purely a willpower thing, eating 6 small meals is easier for some people than eating 3 large ones, and vice versa. get enough protein and carbs and exercise, and you'll be putting on muscle like noones business

I love how a moderator of a runescape forum is flaming the game that this forum is built around.
  6. Nah, her walls lighter, but any lighter on the image and you wouldn't have been able to see the face well cos of the way its drawn
  7. Nah, her walls lighter, but any lighter on the image and you wouldn't have been able to see the face well cos of the way its drawn
  8. Actually i used threshold to bring out the light bits and drew over them, then did it again on a diff setting to draw in the darker bits.
  9. Wow, very nice work! Absolutely love it, colours are excellent, everythings just...great! My only CC would to be work on the text a little, just not fond on how, kinda looks like a default font? Just me though, absolutely love this piece! well done!
  10. hahah, very nice work mate :) background compliments the pic well, monkey is drawn well and everything, no complaints at all :) Thumbs up!
  11. This is basically just like a shortcut of typing your password in, if it was for a commercial business (like a bad guy from james bond or something, bwahahah) then yea that is quite a per[bleep]ement, but you can just type your password in if you lose a thumb :P
  12. Sorry, but this is brown nosing in it's purest form. The best artists on this forum are just like you and me, totally normal people - Sucking up doesn't earn you brownie points

Yea, aside from the plain sky it's very detailed and well made. Love the Anim̮̩̉̉ eyes too :) Love the animation too! As for CC, it's just the sky that seems plain, plus i'm not a fan of the bevelling on the text as it's a pixel sig, but that's just a personal prefence. Excellent work, you've got a lot of talent :)
  14. Really starting to get into the more old styles of art (check my pop art post) My friends just had her room wallpapered lilac with loads of lilac junk in, so she wanted a nice lilac picture to stick on her wall, without it being something tacky like a poster. I've known her for a long time, and i know she loves Razorlight, especially the vocalist. As much as i still hate this band (and she knows it, hahah) I decided to draw the singer for her. Pleased with how it came out, gonna be doing a bit more of this in future :) (OLD ONE -) http://img394.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... 2copy2.jpg Constructive Criticism and all comments welcome, as usual :) thanks! edit : link didnt work so put it as a direct image, woo =D edit 2 : oh my god i suck at img tags, just click the link grr :P edit 3 (oh my days!) new version uploaded added the image for you - Korla

ive had a few messed up ones recently... Ran up the fields out the house cos airraid sirens were going off. Next thing i know i see my house get bombed with my mom still inside. Woke up crying :/ Second one, i dreamed i found a dead baby under my bed - then my dad bashed its head in with a baseball bat. Never been so freaked out by a dream in my life....
  16. If you're just gonna argue then take your comments elsewhere, because they're not appreciated here.
  17. Just stumbled across this, could it mean the end of all passwords in the future? http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Microsoft_F ... N_USB_PORT Would definately teach those script kiddies a lesson  edit : added a better link
  18. I didn't mean abstract as in that crappy style of photoshop filter piles, i meant abstract as in something a little bit more out of the ordinary than most of the stuff posted here. Thanks all for your comments :)
  19. Hahah, pretty funny stuff :) gotta love the replys people gave too
  20. Really not fond on any of them... First is just gradient boxes for a dynamic sig script as far as i gather. second is way too blurry, "forums" text looks bad, find it hard to believe you made the image on the left yourself third is a little better but on the light side. Dunno whats with the pixel thing in the middle but it looks rather out of place... not meaning to be offensive, but better to tell the truth than lie i guess
  21. I'm asking you all a favour - don't just see this topic as another meaningless post you have to spew your opinions out to - see it as a chance to broaden your horizons. Since the creation of electronic instruments, there is a subgenre for absolutely every sound arrangement available, from Experimental Sinewave Manipulation (music based upon the idea of manipulating the sine waveform to create weird and wonderful sounds) to Speedcore (a subgenre of hardcore rave music ranging from 200-9999bpm and beyond) - for many, music is not just what you listen to, it's how you live. Some of the richest and most famous people in the world would still be working at Woolworths had it not been for music, and even Woolworths would have a considerable chunk of their sales taken should music not exist - entire cultures are based around a style of music, and so it's time we gave some appreciation to music a little more out of the ordinary. So, in short, tell us about some weird music you've heard of. You don't even have to like it - but someone out there might. I want to introduce to you two artists, the first being a heavy metal/drum n bass crossover artist known solely as Hive. His self-proclaimed masterpiece, devious methods, is probably one of the most incredible things i've ever heard. Hive blends thrash guitars with hard drum n bass breaks, movie samples and incredibly weird sound effects to create pure bliss - check him out Here - be sure to check out Ultrasonic Sound and Experiments In Synthetic Rhythm. The second, is perhaps a little less on the abstract side of things, but mindblowing non the less - and you've probably heard one or two of their tracks, either on a computer game, movie, or even an advert. Hybrid are a duo from South Wales, and their defining album "Wide Angle" - sold a total of 100,000 copies world wide. Whilst this may not seem like a high figure compared to the big shots, you've yet to hear the music. Hybrid have been a personal favourite of mine for years, from the day I heard Finished Symphony on a Ministry of Sound compilation. I fell straight in love with this track and have never looked back since - an incredible cross of orchestral soundtracks and pumping breakbeats makes for pure Welsh ear candy, not to mention talented guest vocalists and general weirdness, all crammed into 1 disc of mindblowing material - check them out Here Well, that's all i'm posting. Be sure to check them out, and post your own artists too!
  22. Ok, i'm becoming increasingly bored of the whole pixel pixel pixel landscape pixel tttia's drawing pixel landscape thing i'm seeing on this board, so i wanted to try some more abstract styles of art. So here it is - Pop art! Both images were drawn from rough references. Equipment used : Photoshop 7.0 Let me know what you think :)
  23. neither are great but as merc said the text on the first one is a letdown. sig 2
  24. My friend recently gave up, not by quitting altogether straight away, but by cutting how many he smokes by half every few days. by the time he was down to about 3 a day, he'd just stopped caring about them altogether. Maybe your willpower isnt as good as his, but it's worth a try.
