Lazy: Good job on the shading, and it looks good. Not a fan of the green or horn color, but original take on it. Don't worry about changing it, main thing I wanted to see was shading skill, etc. Zep: Haha. It takes a bit of practice, m8. :wink: -Zim

There's nothing wrong in bieng able to notice transactions. If you use too many shades it looks like PS work. :) -Zim

Hehe, It's not "Black" on the inside, but considering where the lightsource is the visible sliver shouldn't get any light. :wink: Anyways, I only nitpicked a few things for like 2 minutes, and you still managed to pick up a lot of info on my shading, lol. :o -Zim

Seems like you have good tastes, and that's one of the most important factors in artists if you ask me. As far as technique goes...I'm no expert( and it looks like you already know the basics) so all I can say is to maybe try your hand at dithering, and change palletes a lot! -Zim

Lighting isn't bad, you colored that hidden bit of skin blue, too though haha. Try a music sig. I'm working on a sig that changes colors\mood as the music does. -Zim

Wow, a lot of entries on my little helmet! Anyways, I geuss I'll say whose I like best: 1-Deximus's : Nailed the red. Only 2 pts :!: above the one I used. Inside of helmet is yellow with that lightsource? :wink: Figured you'd catch that eventually, though. 2-Mother: Nice job, shaded great. Would've looked better with some contrast. (Read: outline) And your lightsource is whacked. 2-Lowgravity: Tied. Like the purple gem, and the yellow you used. The back of the helmet is white! White = Satan. 4-Teenage: PS! :twisted: Not my style. 5-Bronzegal:I actually enjoy the look of yours.
