I've been thinking about this, and I'd love to see a newbie rise up out of the ground and work hard on his own, then surpass us all. He'd be my hero. In the begging slump we've fallen into, it's hard to find a good, hard-working newb who would rather give you free fish than receive free fish himself (or herself). It's a possibility, but I haven't seen it. But, ah, that's what pures are for. To create the dream of a non-begging noob.

1-20 Basically trained combat a lot, because it was the only thing I knew how to do. Someone gave me full bronze when I was a noob and I thought I was the luckiest player ever. 20-30 Discovered a bunch of items that existed. Did a lot of quests. 30-40 Started to use magic and realized that it was useful! Did some more quests. 40-50 Started to feel like an experienced player. I knew my way around the map (finally). Still very poor. 50-60 Started to get some of my skills up and get into some guilds. At lvl 60 I hit 500 skill total. 60-70 Killed a dragon, got some rune. More quests. At lvl 66 I completed every f2p quest... Yeah it took me a while. I started to feel like I wasn't a noob anymore. 70-81 A LOT of stuff happened between these levels. I became a member. I finally realized that my skills sucked and combat wasn't everything. I got my skills up and reached 1k skill lvl w00t w00t. I met up with the OoC and had lots of fun and didn't care about leveling anymore as long as I had fun on RS. I expanded my wardrobe and got my first status icon (relatively cheap Pirate Hat), and found my place in the RS world. So here I am now! FTW :twisted:

Aha. Yes, this would be interesting. It would add some excitement into the game. Of course, in Lumbridge that probably wouldn't happen since they're all new there. Now if you just take a few steps away, the NPC will stop attacking you, but imagine running from something that's running after you. Haha, cool.

Well you regain your energy faster, but you don't get to run as far. Someone with level one agility carrying nothing could run the same distance as someone with level 99 agility who's carrying nothing. It's something I thought about too. Agility doesn't help when it comes to running far and fast.

Jagex doesn't need to do anything for a half-holiday like Valentines Day anyway. Nice try, but I think they only do free stuff for big holidays.

I do just about everything when it comes to training anything. I mine my ess, make my own runes, make my own arrows. Heck, I'd make my own split bark if it weren't such a pain. Only stuff I buy is stuff I can't make or is too high of a level for me to make. I'm way too cheap, and poor for that matter, to buy anything. Hence why I'm such a bad merchanter and only take cash.

Throw tomatoes at someone in the duel arena, then ride a dragon and kill everyone. =) Then try and fall off the maze in the Chaos Altar to see what happens.

Pretty cool idea, I haven't seen anything like it in a while... Although I'm pretty much anti-wilderness it'd be pretty cool and it could also warn people in the wilderness if someone was coming. Maybe even if we wanted to go crazy, the weight of the player will determine how faint or deep the footprints are, making it easier to track if you have a lot of armor... But that would put meleers to a disadvantages, but that's just me thinking out loud, since this is a suggestion board and all.

Trip emote, haha that's funny. I was thinking the same thing earlier, leaving the slayer towers, I said to my friend, "*falls down stairs*" because they looked like stairs I'd fall down lol.

Duh there already are dragon 2handers. Look closely at the fire giants, what weapon would that be? :lol: Anyway, I wouldn't really care about this, but I'm sure some people like 2handed swords. It's been suggested countless times though.

Heh, I like it. Sounds like a chapter in a short story.. I'd love to see other scenes built around it.

Yes, more screenies, I love looking at RS screenies for no reason. But if we sent in screenies, then they would be overwhelmed with pics from the OoC ;)

Lol. That's funny, all sorts of disgusted emotes should be put in there. For example: "Adeluz glares at you" and then in the chat box it'll display your character glaring at them for 2 seconds and then disappear lol. The play dead emote is funny too, see a noob and just pretend to die. Then when they walk by, be alive again haha. I love pointless things. A kick emote would rock.

Yes, a good idea. As the Zamorak team on world 46 may have noticed, I tend to throw a fit when they capture their own flag. I hate going in with useless attempts against ancient mages... It annoys me. The flag, if held for too long by its own team, should go back to the stand. Maybe after two minutes it should go back.

Um.. Just wondering, but isn't there a snowy area north of Trollheim? But of course that's not f2p. It sounds like a good idea, but it would take some programming to do, and, like someone else said, I'd rather have updates than snow. We always have beautiful weather in Runescape! =) Perfect for farming and such. (But, yes I'd love to see snow as well.)

A way to put my prayer noobness to use. :lol: Too bad I do not have a mace. :( *has to buy one* So it's members? Dang, it sounds fun, but I'd probably die before I even got to lvl 15 wildy.

If there was a mini game like it, it could be similar to the duel arena where you challenge someone or people could spectate and throw tomatoes at you haha. It could be based off of agility and attack if you wish, but slightly off topic, if there are no horses, then why is there something that (to me) looks very similar to a stable at the "Falador Farm?"

Okay.. But only if we put it in wildy and call it "Grasshopper" :lol:

I've always kind of wanted that. I right click on someone in an empty area, expecting to examine them and I can't lol. *likes the examine button* It would be kinda funny to have an examine button where you could write stuff about you or something that could drive people away like, "Going to the wildy, Follow if you want to die. " Okay that was random. Hehe

I still want there to be a guthix team where you can kill anyone attacking someone or holding the flag and you get tickets depending on how many people you can kill. :P That'd be flippin awesome. Good points brought up though, the flag thing I saw earlier, "if someone holds their own falg for 30 seconds it should return to their own post" I agree. I hate tracking down the lvl 107 surrounded by ancient mages, lvl 80 rangers and 125ers, then pathetically attempting to kill them as I switch from protect mage to protect range to protect melee over and over again till I die from lack of fast clicking because the abby whips and ice attacks are hitting me too fast.

I think they should probably (at first if they do) have human-like races. For quests so they don't get messed up and stuff, if you're "human born" characters would still call you human. I don't think there should be any special advantages for it, it could just be a change in your look, that way miners or ranger or whatever wouldn't have an advantage because they were a certain race, that way it would still seem like the old system you'd just have more ways to look. And if not races, new hairstyles! *brandishes fist at Morgan le Faye and the Lady of the Lake* Darn you people with cool hair ;)

Hm, that would be cool, and the whole, "south doesn't know north, north doesn't know south," would be awesome. For them if they went to far south they'd be in the wildy. Definately an idea Jagex should consider ;) I'm a bit of a traveller.
