  1. Maybe that is a real job for them -.-. All that junk thats shipped to the US is the EXACT same as what your saying about macroers. So what you're saying is that all those most often less than legal sweatshops making products is more moral than making RS gp in a most likely less dangerous condition in front of multiple computers using automated programs? The options your stating aren't really better than the other. As for me, if it's cheap, buy it. I think the maturity of players is more important than rule 7 but thats just my opinion.
  2. "[garden tool]" My public and private chats are always on friends though :P, I never see peoples responses, trashing, or otherwise :D.
  3. Every update makes combat easier to raise. And all this talk about PC products, who are you kidding? Marking other players by the way they trained? I remember the first few months of RS2 where some people were labed as RS2 products, what do you say to that? Why not just have a mark on everyone's forehead meaning RS2 product if it applies. Old school? Depends on compared to who so stop thinking just because you've been around a bit more than others that you automatically have some kind of platform over others. Besides 99 in skills don't even matter anymore as you can see, people are shooting into the 200m exp by the dozens. If jagex saw this as a BIG problem, they would have done something by now. PC's been here for a while and unless it starts causing serious problems, it's staying.
  4. Dds special has TWO hits and FOUR uses. Short has TWO hits and ONE use. Even with the short bow's added speed, dds has EIGHT hits in the span it take s for short to fire maybe 6 or 7 hits including the special. Considering the ceiling for dds damage is much higher than range, range is still weaker than melee with armor or without. The discrepancy is even larger at higher levels. For mage, if you can keep the meleer away from you, ie either keep on entangling hits or not missing ice barrage the meleer can be killed easily, but if you miss and he gets loose to dds you, most of the time you're done for. Also, who said rangers killed mages? If it's ancients and you keep the ranger at short distance, you can kill them without taking any damage since the shortbow does not have as much range as magic. Also you do not need to autocast, it takes time to set magic somtimes if you switch between styles so sometimes it is best to just use the spell book and cast from there. No speed difference, just less magic bonus (which mostly comes from your armor anyways) So I agree with 123Yourgone, in p2p. (My opinions above is based on non-pure + members + high combats, it is drastically different for lower combats, f2p, and pures)
  5. I haven't pure pked in P2p before but I pk in f2p wildy as a sport, pretty much do nothing else besides that haha. But in my experience, I love it when pures eat above 50% on me, they hit me less and sometimes I get straight hits that sends them scrambling out of the wild. When I'm in one on ones, which I do not engage in often, I eat above what I think they would hit, for example if I engaged another ranger and his max is say, 14, I would keep my hits about 16 to 18 with a few extra HP as a buffer in case he does hit his max. It's a risk, but it makes the other guy more suspectible to his own ego and if he tried to sneak an extra shot in at the wrong time, he's usually done for. From time to time if I meet a group that talks exessive trash I might do the same back to them as needed. Protection prayers at level 60. <--- I LOVE THESE GUYS In groups its even better, one of them prays, immediately switch to next guy without it on and keep on switching until they all have it on, then whip out scimitar (or magic) and bust red all over them, most of them don't switch protections or if they do, just rinse and repeat. Works especially well on pures. Low hits = Quick Ko. Instant Teleports, I usually don't care if they are alone or much lower than me when I meet them, but I see it as a problem when my team encounters about.... lets say a group of 6 to 8 people only a few levels lower who teles in the sight of a group of 3 or 2... Thats just hilarious  Defense People. Um, who cares? They'll get hit hard either way, put on armor, Fireblast, take it off, Range. "Teaming noobs" How many times have I heard this from other pures.... it can also be "sad..." or "pathetic". 90% of the time I've koed people who have said this to me, why? Because it is redundant and hypocritical. I bet if you had teammates you would be tag teaming too. I like team fights better because it is based more on teamwork and experience rather than stats and gear. This one is especially for me, "Studded noob, can't afford dragonhide?" I've heard this so much, why? Because I wear studded chaps or leather chaps, use a magic staff, and leather body. From experience, the gear is more efficient, cheaper, and more useful than dragonhide and wizards top. Hell, my whole team wears it in some form or another, also creates the image of weak and inexperienced pkers making them extremely confident of their own abilities. Let me just say, my team has never been beaten on equal grounds. Things certainly have changed since rs1, but at least now magic can have more widespread use in the f2p wild. PS. After a while, all the random flaming gets really annoying, so I usually have my chat to friends. However If i find out that someone has been talkign too much trash for their own good, we hunt them down with extreme prejudice, even if they outnumber and outpower us we hunt them down and eliminate them before we are forced to split.
