Stations will take at least half a century....once you actually get into space, and probably cost a square trilion each.

Fine by me, though people will doubtlessly claim territory anyway. Anywho, poll finishes whenever I get up tommrow, though it seems pretty conclusive that Retech is getting the moon colony, since no one has offered any money to go with the promises of land, and people are not wholely against it.

Meh, possibly. If you are going to spend 40 years waiting you can't really expect people to keep a space open for you. But, as it is, it will cost a large amount for each base, for a relatively small return...initally...So...

It seems unlikely to get filled up too soon.

When people are laying claim to places...post a map.

Well space is happening regardless, so...

Cos Dusty wanted you to have it, apparently. Anywho, you would do much better to use a super capacitor, which does both, though isn't paper thin.

But, are in fact, the same device... which is what I said. And since it was a discussion about super capacitors, ie capacitors with a large charge which they hold onto(a battery), I felt it important to highlight the fact that they are, infact, the same thing. Kinda like saying that a wine glass and a beer glass are different. Semantically yes, technically, no.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_capacitor *cough* Its little mistakes like yours which made me think they were different things....Actually they are the same thing, but different types of the same thing.

Yes... No idea, people don't tell me until they want a reward. There is a list here http://users.aber.ac.uk/lug9/hege/hegemony/wonders.txt I suggest you search for the name of each wonder and find out if someone is building it and when they started...

An ultra capacitor couldn't ever be combined with a paper thin battery.... It would be like combining a double A and a triple A....

Hegemony
For everyone doing research into paper batteries and super capacitors....Capacitors and Batteries are the same thing. No, to the IAG thing.

Hegemony
Since Dusty gave it to Retech and Retech then gave it to you, it doesn't really have anything to do with me... Also, if anyone wants to recolour Russia's boarder then I will happily change Russia's colour...

WHERE THE HELL IS VANCOVER ISLAND! .... I am British, not a ruddy Atlas.

Its not really another strategic element...3 cities and 80 billion IAG...Unless someone decides to invade the moon with a very small army there won't be a lot of strategy. The two things about the moon is that you are not likely to get invaded by your neighbour, and you have a slight advantage in launching spaceships...if you can ever afford them. Advantages for everyone else include, holding on to American soil, not having to give away any money and such.

You mark your Biodomes on the map, each one costs 1.5 trillion each, so you can afford two, plus where-ever you want your first one. The infrastructure system is much simplier, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Side note, can any completed wonders PM me...

Can we have some less squarish states...It just looks stupid.

Don't really see how it messes up space missions... He could set up 3 cities, and have his economy grow by 30 billion a decade... I don't really see how that messes up a space mission. I am not giving out money, if you want Retech to have 1 trillion you can give it to him.

Because its an option, since joint control of your Empire will end badly.... As someone who served under you in the last hegemony, you frequently cut the other person's legs out from under them in the interests of not rocking the boat...and Retech rocks the boat frequently... Added to that joint empires a very difficult for me to manage, so it is in my interests to suggest it, and Retech's interest to take the deal. What everyone else decides is up to them...

Budgets are up. Provisional Idea [hide]In other news Bermuda has sunk after experimentations there into a new element, Gamebreakium, have gone awry. As a result the entire complex, along with brain wiped staff, have been teleported to the moon. After bumbling about for two months the team of scientists discovered how to use a transmitter and called back to Research Command, in Dorset. After another five months trying to recollect what they were researching, and trying to get the computer database to work, the team has given up trying to get home. The moon base is hemetically sealed and experimentation with the mould grown in the bottom of the water tank has provided sustinance, bad breath, and have erradicated disease on the new base after three quarters of the team died from poisoning, leaving on the best immune systems standing. Of the survivors one Jenre Tech has risen to leadership. In any case, the team have explored the local area and found out that the Americans had indeed faked the moon landings, not only that but both they, the Russians and all other 'Space Powers' had faked every mission thus far, including the Hubble Space Telescope. Thinking about it, it just wasn't profitable to put all that stuff in space, where as satalites that watched Earth were very profitable. The Governments of the World have admitted that they were not in power when the cover up took place. Indeed the cover up was so deep that they spent a huge amount of money redesigning telescopes and maps and changing all the maps of the planets over the past 2 millenia, just to prevent anyone finding out that the missions didn't happen. [/explaination for why the moon looks different] The base has been drilling for resources and found various resources, which have given it a provisional IAG of 50 billion, however in their inital budget is 3 trillion, due to the new frontier spirit.(To get them started) Research has indicated the resources on the moon can be used to generate more IAG, at a rate of Biodomes(Cities/Bases/w/e)*Infrastrucure*1,000,000,000 As opposed to the old system. Egyptian says: "We are cutting costs by getting rid of the big, cheap, armour, and, instead, using thin, expensive, armour." Shame I couldn't put a comma between the using and thin....Ah well. Anywho, going to sleep for a while at least. Toodle pip all.

Ross would have just blown up your system or something like that...none of this fiddling about with nukes and planets.

Couldn't have beaten Ross though
