Just randomly, might have found accomodation, if things work out on Tuesday then everyone can have a free 100 billion to compensate for me disappearing yesterday. If things don't get sorted but still look like they might then I will give the free gift when it is sorted. If not then nothing happens and I am moderately moodier.

Dusty's Treasury: Sigh...You said 8 nukes, you didn't specify tonnage, however you had specified that you were nuking him to destroy cities, ergo 150 kiltonnes. If I had set the jelly earlier then yeah maybe, but since I didn't I didn't fancy Ice cream either... Britian begins melting... France begins melting... Anywho, thanks to certain events, which arn't really anyone's fault, my accomodation search got easier and more difficult, all at once, basicly by losing the person I was searching with....So I am feeling understandably depressed, which some of you may have noticed over the past few days with my shortening fuse(I suspected this might happen). Anywho, I am going to be leaving early tonight, hopefully things will look mildly better in the morning(I don't believe that but still) To be honest....I am annoyed, and very much so, because the other person wasted alot of time when housing was avalible and wasted even more time when it wasn't so avalible, and now, five miles upstream, he has jumped ship. However, he was ill, so it wasn't really his fault, and I am fairly useless at house hunting(fear of telephones is a great fear...) Also, I can't really blame him for trying to jump ship, since I contemplated it earlier...All of that said though, I still feel depressed that I am five miles upstream without anyone to help me get back out to sea... In any event I am going to do what I always do in these circumstances, blindly stare into space(it is 10 pm at night so there is naff all I can do right now). So good night all.

Zombie Plans-Revised
If they knocked you to the ground then they could infect you through the hands...

Except... Britain is self sustaining. Not for about 500 years...

Zombie Plans-Revised
I think sticking my hand near a Zombie mouth is generally a bad idea...Kind of like Instant killing someone by hitting them with your head, it might be effective, but its pretty risky.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Ok...Well, using the things in my room...I survive on a diet of Paper, TCP, Witch-Hazel, Toothpaste, Eyedrops and Mouth Wash.... My weapons include, a Screwdriver, a Mirror, two cups, a bowl, two teaspoons, a fork, a laptop, a pack of 400ish pages of paper, TCP, a number of heavy books, a large collection of thumb tacts and dress pins, two pairs of sissors, a plastic tray, a cardboard poster tube, a stand up clothes line, and some batteries. So...From this, I will make two rocket launchers  No, I would probably fight my way to the Kitchen and store some water, probably in the bowl and cups. I would also barricade the door at the end of the hall closed while I assessed who else in the flat was not Zombified. I would use the TCP to fight the infection, or to burn the Zombie's eyes. If that doesn't work, and I am only facing one of them, then I use the clothes rack to force them back, either succeeding and killing them in some fashion(probably a blow to the head or something). If I failed I would retreat inside my room and lock the door. Regardless I would prepare my weapons next, using the sissors as four knives and the screw driver as a very short club... I then make another sortie out of my room if I didn't find they were friendly/kill them... If I fail then I am probably dead. Assuming I survive, I move to the Kitchen, and rearm, using my knives, pots and pans...though probably I get something to eat, incidently checking to see if the power is still on. After I have eaten, assuming the virus is not in the food, if it is then I am dead anyway....Assuming it wasn't I either talk to my fellow flatmates, go back to my room and scour the internet or skip this step. Depending on how bad the situation is, both in terms of the world and my personal manpower situation, I begin exploring the rest of the block, using a trusty fire-extinguisher to break doors open if there are no replies from within. The fire extinquisher also gives me a minor advantage against the zombies. If I am ambushed I fight my way out/die/retreat if I can. After assessing the entire block I marshall whatever forces I have found and head downstairs....

So we are just waiting on: Kazakhia Austraila South Asian Federation and Japan

Or....We could ignore the new types of guns and military vechicles because they make no difference anyway, focus on the research projects and OH, what do you know, your system is exactly the same, except you want to keep a record of research into the Colt .45.
-
Hegemony
Hence why guns arn't included in the research thing, unless they are new technolgies, which would cost more to develop. If they were included they would take less time to research than space travel....So researching the Gun to level 1 would cost 20 billion, lets say, where as researching Space to level 1 would cost 80 billion, lets say.

Ok, we will have a vote on it, after this vote.
-
Hegemony
Yeah, something like that I can accept, but there needs to be some sort of system in place first.
-
Hegemony
Yeah, because that is easy for me to keep track of, what with budgets that people reorganise daily....Don't post, say the thought about it a few days ago and therefore are exempt....Or whatever other excuse they cook up. I don't want to try to work out what 5 million a year means for a project that takes 8 years to complete....With no standard mechanism. If we say that more money equals faster research then it means more hassle for me, trying to work out of 40/67ths of 50,343 is. As well as getting screamed at by all the poor countries that it is a money throwing competition. If I say there is a uniform cost then all the rich people scream at me because they can't throw money at it. And if there is no cost then people scream at me for for Ico's massive research list, and people just research everything. So, since having a uniform cost only has the rich countries scream at me, and doesn't have any negative effects for the game, its the best way forward. If you don't want the system then say it is free, since the other option is not going to happen.

That would be the Crisis suit project.

Nanotubes: Level 1: 11 Level 2: 12 Level 3: 13 It is pretty arbitrary on my part though.

Actually genetics was since the first post, 12th. Basically Genetic research took 17 years to reach level 1, and is taking 19 years to reach level 2. We have been playing for 33 years, so, you have completed 33 years out of the total 36, thus you have 3 years remaining.
-
Hegemony
Cause you didn't tell me on the last page  Anywho: Numbers: Genetics: 1 (3)+ 1 is current level, this doesn't make alot of difference unless you are competing with someone....Ie Gentically engineering a virus, vs genetically engineering a vaccine. (3) is how many years till the next level + means the research is currently under development.
