not much to say except i haven't had this much fun on runescape in a long time. worked on fishing since last February with a huge power fishing session near the end of summer. no clue why i picked it as my first 99, just random, but it suites me. in all it takes about 350+ hours of mostly monkfish and some barbarian fishing mixed in. then the stupid fishing spot moved so im sideways for this one #-o i was supposed to be studying for 2 exams i have tomorrow but i needed a break so i did some slayer, payed off lol. 3 years of members this Christmas, bout time! might post an invy shot once i have the time. thanks!

Hey there, well I've almost completed my first 99 skill, fishing! this has been a long journey from when i started way back about 4-5 years ago. Although i rarely post here on tip it (or any form for that matter) i do enjoy reading these, and with over 350 hours spent going from 1-98 trust me, I've done a lot of reading lol. so i suppose i'll tell you a little about me, and some pics of lvl's and other random pictures of my journey. -enjoy About me (for those who don't like reading i have summarized in red , i'm ben, in college, and enjoy the game) [hide] I'm Ben, from the boring state of Ohio, ( WHO DEY ;) ) im 18 and currently go to college, because of that i rarely play runescape anymore. i really hate it how this game is considered a "young" game, yes i can see why younger kids are attracted to it, cheap, easy, and entertaining, but really, learn to enjoy the game without caring how others play it. regardless, I've played for about 4.5 years 2.5 of them members. Over the years I've meant a ton of people, and done just about everything to do in the game that isn't restricted by my lvl's.[/hide] some game facts about my account Redwarrior1hI've done some stuff [hide] clues 200+ done 2 robins 2 guilded (skirts) 30+ god armors (most have been zammy and guthix) 1 black cav 100+ rune items 1 zammy coif 1 glory (t) barrows 100 trips 2 guthans spears (trips 26 and 28) 1 great axe 1 varrok skirt 1 ahrim skirt 1 torag helm 1 torags hammers drops 2 granite shield 1 obsidian cape 0 dragon ;( used to have pic's of all this, but i quit for 3 months last summer and deleted just about everything. owned every rare except half wine and disk at one point. hacked one, lost about 200+mil 2 years ago (had 25k dragon hides and bones all killed by myself, half way to 50k and buying red and yellow p hats :evil: ) i was stupid and trusted a friend with my pass. he was trust able but someone hacked him and he kept my pass word and pin in his ignore list and i was hacked too. and for those of you who argue the 200+mil, this was right before green dragon autoers became popular so hides and bones were worth a lot more. been scammed by "friends" about 3 times, all for whips lol. back when they were like 4mil, the bottom line is, never trust someone on this game unless you're willing to lose it.[/hide] Lvl screenies 88-98 about 11 pictures [hide] [/hide] and some other random pics my classic days current bank first page 3 capes, one is cl 17, think he's top 10 still looks cool imo another one i though looked cool big shark oldest bank pic i have, from march, this was from like 2 months starting from nothing future goals: - 99 cooking for the trim - santa hat to retire with - 82 thieve - 70 smith - 70 mining -i hope to have this all done by Christmas this year, when i will quit for good, i have goals in life, including starting guitar back up again, which i miss a lot. also i need to put more time towards school, tired of dragging my feet and just making it by. also, i'll probably become active on the forums, just a way to give back to people, hopefully i have some knowledge built up. 99 should come in a few weeks once i get members back :XD: rate 1-10 i guess, it's a 10 in my book once i achieve the 99 though, but i always enjoy some feedback. thanks for looking, later.

Very nice article Duke. I'v always loved rares and how they play there part in the econimy. Seems to me we should be happy that rares are expesive, obviously they show a growth in money which means players are working within the game (not to mention they are something that people have to work for). Hope to see more acticles like this in the future.
