Yes but only in a way of restricting items they already give. Like what you can cook on a fire (requires a certain lvl), heating up a stove (turn all f2p stoves into old fashion ones). Here's one: Restricting wildy lvl based off Firemaking. You'd have to burn down a wall of trees (as in burn one in a row) to get to Greaters for example. wel, that would make firemaking sort of an F2P agility (from what ive heard about agility) im not (yet) a member (in a few days i will be) :D :D :D

dude, u have my sympathy, (cant u even use PayByCash or pay by credit card?)but jagex will never do it, F2P is a preview for P2P, if u dont become member, they dont give **** about you. and F2P only really s*cks for higher lvls (that probably wont ever become a member), they do care about F2P lower lvl, because they still have every potential to become member. PS: i convinced my mom, im gonna be member really soon!!YAY!!

isnt that a quite small sacrifice to make to put most scammers out of business? but perhaps your right, maybe it should only flash when u remove/decrease the quantity of the item

o well then they dont have snare, big deal. mages own in lower lvls and they totally own in higher lvl member, lets not make em own even more, they should atleast have a hard time at mid lvl

F2P has snare too, i beleive, and in 10 seconds u can easily give a warrior 4 or 5 fire blasts before he can do anything back

now tell me the point of training after level 99 in a skill or getting above 43 pray ect the point of lvling after 43 pray is longer lasting prayer, and the point of training after lvl 99 is being the no. 1 in hi scores

why would P2P people complain? tell me why this would matter to them? they can still use fletching too, cant they? i dont see why they should complain. a lot of members think they are better than non members because they are lucky that there parents allow them to be member. if my mum would allow it, i would be member tomorrow, but unfortunatly she doesnt :cry: :cry:

i dont think it would be very hard to program, and if you have just been fishing for 3 hours or something, you are VERY bored, and you wont be paying much attention, thats when the scammer strikes, and you can say bye bye to all your hard work, even if jagex would have warnings for this scam on their website and ingame, (which would probably be more work too) a lot of people will still get scammed (and no, these people CAN read, and they are not morons, they are simply not paying attention at 1 o clock in the morning) but with this trading system, these people will be forced to see whatever the scammer changes flash for 3 seconds, and theyll be forced to look at the second trade screen for 3 seconds. if people would still get scammed with this trading system, then they ARE morons, and then they DO deserve it

i know that, but still alot of people get scammed, and i mean a LOT (including me :cry:, thats how i got the idea) so if they upgraded it 1 more time with this, i think that number will be greatly reduced. if thats so, doesnt that make it well worth the trouble of updating the trading system?

mages can already take care of warriors by simply binding/snaring/entangling them, or using an ancient ice spell, when a mage does this, the warrior is a sitting duck they are already way too strong, lets not make it worse

if this would be done, there would also be a lot less reports i think, since nobody would be stupid enough to fall for the trade scam. also for jagex, this would, it would also be alot cheaper for jagex to do this then hire a ton of extra staff to cope with all abuse reports

well, i agree that, if possible, tackling the problem from the source (mass-banning all those scammers) would be better, but since jagex doesnt look at abuse reports, thats no use. this solution would stop a lot of scamming i think, because scamming is kind of a never ending cycle: some1 gets scammed, he gets angry, and starts to scam. if people stop scamming, less people start scamming, and the scamming slowly stops

outsanity, those people's brains are not faulty, they are simply not paying attention for a moment, scammers use really nice tricks, u know, you barely notice a stack of money going from 2 mil to 200k, with this system, i think everybody would notice it. to everybody who disagrees I would like to see some constructive critisism, it would be way more usefull then pointless flames, i think Outsanity and Bubsa made enough of those on my thread already Bubsa and Outsanity; i would love to know what exactly do you find so bad about my idea, because otherwise i am forced to think this trade system is your main source of income and that your very keen on it to remain this way.
