  1. I'm tracking rares, and the graphs are pretty boring and pretty much useless since they hardly updated. Those graphs will be more useful once the trade cap is in place and people will be forced to do all rare trading on the G.E, making updates much more common.
  2. I have the data for the dates you missed for some of the materials. (Prices are from the 8th to the 14th) Yew logs: 404, 408, 411, 411, 413, 420, 426 Oak logs: 11, 11, 11, 11, 12, 13, 14 Iron ore: 76, 75, 74, 74, 75, 77, 80 Coal: 159, 160, 160, 160, 160, 161, 162 Runite ore: 12242, 12267, 12295, 12253, 12174, 12215, 12238 Nature rune: 271, 272, 273, 267, 261, 259, 258 Rune essence: 19, 19, 19, 19, 20, 21, 23 Pure essence: 80, 81, 83, 88, 93, 98, 103 Nice work with the graphs. I'm using excel too, how did you get it to show the percentage changes? I can't seem to work it out.
  3. Yeah it's too bad merching and pures are dead... Pures are at the top of the bounty hunter high-score list and I, with no previous merching experience has merched over 7 million profit at the G.E in the past 3 days, averaging 10 minutes a day of work... R.I.P. Pures and merching... :boohoo:
  4. All trading of rares will be forced into the Grand Exchange, this will make the price updates of rares much more common (but still uncommon for phats, crackers will probably still take a year to update unless things change)
  5. Over, but people are still bombing. And the results! In first place, Past member of the OoC, Chaosvuistje! His time was 10 minutes and 25 seconds. He had a big lead out of the first section and never gave it up. Good job! His prize was 100k and a Rune platebody. In second place, a recruit of the OoC, Dreamknightx. Prize was 50k and a Full rune helm. And in third, OoC recruit Jihad193. Prize was 20k and a Rune scimmy. I didn't get as many people as I thought, but there were still enough people. I'm sure future tutorial races will bring more competition. : Good job to all the racers! (whos names were Busy Bee, btw)
  6. There may be some mixups on when it starts as there have been some changes in daylight savings time in Canada/US (may be other countries, I dont know ). For us DST wont end untill the day after the event, so it won't effect us. For the rest of you whos countries use it, DST will have ended. Luckly, if you do get mixed up with all the time changes, you won't miss the event, you'll just be an hour early. Pick cabbage to pass the time! So if your country ends DST before November 3rd, the race will start at 7pm GMT, if not, 6pm GMT. I hope I havent confused anyone :anxious:
  7. It doesnt leave much room for numbers, it's against the rules and it wouldnt be a surprize. I was just thinking out loud, I won't be taking suggestions.
  8. Bumpy. I'm still trying to think of a name that would be really funny to see a stampeed of people using :-k . I don't like long waits :ohnoes:.
  9. Date and time has been set. Saturday, November 3rd, 6pm GMT.
  10. ~|The Great Tutorial Race|~ The Order of Cabbage, a collection of cabbage lovers and owners of a 3m+ stash of cabbage invites you to a race of newb proportions. What is it: The Great Tutorial Race is pretty much what the name implies. A race on newly created accounts through tutorial island. How it goes: All competitors will meet up at the cabbage patch, northwest of Draynor on their main accounts. When the race begins, I am going to reveal the name of the account you are going to create. When I give you this name, you will all log out and create an account using it with numbers following. So if the name was hotdog, everybody would log out and create accounts called hotdog234, hotdog9322, and so on. (I wont be using hotdog, for all you cheaters out there  ) Then, the race is on. You will log on this account and race through tutorial island as quickly as you can (to be clear, you don't need to wait for everybody to log on their racing accounts. As soon as you log on you may begin). I will be waiting at the cabbage patch, and the first person to trade me wins! Of course I wont know who the person who trades me is, so you will have to tell me who you are while you are on that account so I can give your main the prize. And that's how it goes! After the prizes are handed out, we will go cabbage bombing. If you've never been cabbage bombing or to one of the OoC vs TET bomb-offs, visit our bombing guide here. You don't need to register an account to view it. Prizes: Mystery prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. They will be good \. What: Tuturial Island race and bombing. When: Saturday, November 3rd, 6pm GMT Where: Draynor cabbage patch, world 117. The OoC's home world is 7, but this event will likely take place at a busy time and it wouldn't be fair for the many racing accounts trying to log on a full world at the same time. Attire: It doesn't matter what you choose as your clothes for the race, but we like to be in OoC uniform when we go cabbage bombing on our mains. The OoC Uniform: -Priest robes, top and bottom (Varrock clothes store) -Fire staff -Chef hat (imps drop them) -Red cape -Amulet of strength/ruby amulet -Red gloves -Leather boots If you can't get all of those, you can still bomb. You'll just not look as leet as us smelly cabbage people \ That's all for now. Please come. If you don't, the cabbage gods shall smite you down and feed you to the onions. Just so you know. If you would like to learn more about the OoC, you can find our forum here. p.s. I'll be timing you . If this goes well we can do it again sometime and try to beat previous times. See you there!
  11. Would likely be a Hunting update. Take your dog hunting, have them sniff out prey. A Bloodhound as a pet would be better for that though, though there could probably be different breeds with different abilities.
  12. It's been years since I made the Cabbage Evolution avatar that I still see floating around here (and am currently using), and since then 2 new versions of the Rs cabbage have been uncovered that were used in Rs2 beta. Unfortunately due to size restrictions, the new avvy can't be used on tip.it, but i've turned it into a sig that can still be used here. Here is the sig version of it the new Cabbage Evolution that includes the Beta cabbages. Like my other one anybody can use it. This is the avvy verision of it that can't be used here.
  13. how do you know then :-k Because Runescape is an online game and aren't the players parents :| . You can't possibly read a few dozen lines of what people say in a game and know what they are really like and anybody who thinks different is a fool.
  14. Some people here seize to amaze me. Guess what, Jagex don't know anything about anybody playing rs and what they're really like or what they will be like when they are modded. For every mod you see there are 10 you don't see, and for every bragging mod you see reporting someone there are 10 good mods who keep quiet about their reporting because they don't need the approval of a bunch of whiney kids. The fact of the matter is if you are not a mod (and not even that really) then you have no clue what Jagex does and does not do when they are looking to mod someone. Keep your critisizms to yourself unless you have some actual facts intead of being prejudice against every mod because of 1 or 2 bad personal experiences.
  15. People could use both and get double the boost, RoW is infinite while prayer would need prayer pots and with the level being fairly high not many people would even be able to use it. It would hardly render the RoW useless.
  16. *- Jagex is hardly going to listen to the fine details. They hire people to figure those things out. And how exactly am I supposed to know the drain rates even if I wanted to add it? It's not exactly common knowledge. * and ****- All the comments you made on the combat related ones is based on your own personal reasons. People do use rings of life, people do use onyx bracelets, I only mentioned those because you appear to be a hard to please person. The main reason I thought of this was the reason you convinently left out, double the increased rare drop rate. I have yet to hear how that is a bad thing. ***- See *
  17. Those are just rumours spread by impatient kids who throw fits when they don't get any good drops. All you need to use is a a tiny bit of imagination to realize that i've already answered all those questions. I said it would be a fairly high level, i'm not the one who decides what it would be exactly. I already said it has the same effect as a RoW and the drain rate is another one of those "not my decision" questions. It doesnt take much to know that double the drop rate boost or being givin the option of using a different ring or bracelet during battle while retaining the luck is better then RoW alone. The vast majority of that falls under the "so simple it goes without saying" catagory.
  18. Want me to tell you how it would fit in the prayer section too? Get a grip man.
  19. A new prayer, fairly high leveled that will increase your chance of getting a rare drop when activated. The prayer equivalent of a RoW.
  20. You know what they say about guys with tight pants.... They can't bend their knees
  21. The hood and broom have been neck in neck since it started, if it stays that way I think there should be a revote with only those 2 options.
  22. It's much less then what people are saying here.
