it happens exactly the same to me! All I can say is repeat all of the steps as carefully as possible because this guide has gotten me, a few friends, and a ton of random strangers through completely. Post what part your quest log says you are on. Hurry though I may have to leave in a few. the last statement is that "i should keep it with me"
