  1. lol mother that took me 10 minutes to get but that is hilarious.
  2. lol did anyone watch south park last night? they had devil worshipping woodland creatures that were celebrating christmas by birthing the anti-christ, until santa blew their brains out. quite entertaining i must say......eric
  3. yes i thought it was quite a good chance of winning myself, but i guess thats what i get for not staying up until 12 to finish a sig :( ....eric
  4. nice to see you've made your 57th post about buying a sig, yet have never bought one yet. i posted one on a post a few days ago, that you can use for free if you want....eric
  5. kinda sad i never even got to finish it. started on it last night after i saw your post, but guess i spent too long watching tv  thought it was turning out quite well. sniff sniff.....eric drew the ant myself btw :D
  6. you can either use gaussian blur on the black background or use a scattered brush for the stars. i kinda used a combo of the two, and then went back with bigger brushes for random larger stars. its a good start tho. and i dunno if that atmosphere should protrude that much into space, it looks kinda funky on the blue planet....eric
  7. hope ya like it, ill change it if its in the running....eric
  8. ill see if you like it before i try the avatars....eric
  9. still prolly not good enough to make the likes of your sigs, but i sure gave it a try. I even drew the snow man by hand :D...eric
  10. but it is less than 150 wide, and is just barely under the 30k limit. i may be wrong but im pretty sure im ok...eric
  11. i went back and added some more clouds and shadows over the planets and tried a more austere font. o and i tried to add a sort of flare from the planet with the smudge brush. thought that was neat. thanks for the replys....eric

nice to see i already have a following that likes to emulate my work....and considering that the rest are prolly "borrowed" too. so ill go with a -1/10 for being not very cool.....eric
  13. kinda new to this whole photoshop, but i stayed up late last night tinkering with all the toys, and i think these turned out pretty well....eric
  14. well the red text totally takes away any and all effect the scenery would have had otherwise. it looks in now way realistic as there are just random splotches on this hill. its far off and distant and doesnt encompass the viewer in the piece, and the text covers up half the image anyways. just my thoughts tho.....eric
  15. lol i see someone beat me to it, but i was going to say it looks exactly like simcity 2000, but i can tell its not because of the tricked out colors. Quite cool to think that you could make the graphics for an award-winning game, even if it was from 10 years ago. btw take a look at a map named 'Ceres' if you are interested in building another. Its a utopian city with some really cool aspects.......eric
  16. dunno if you like, its free if you want it...eric
  17. i draw graffiti on all my folders, so i thought id give it a shot. i dont really play rs much so you can have it for free if you like it.....eric
  18. bluelancer: we discussed cryogenic freezing in chemistry last year and the common assumption among scientists is that it will not work. the reason is that the human body is primarily made up of water. when water freezes it expands. therefore when a frozen object made of water (a human in this case) thaws, the cell membranes have been ruptured and a gelatinous blob similar to the senator in xmen would be the product. or so i would suppose.......eric
  19. astra when you die, you cease to exist. you get planted in the ground and rest among the worms for the rest of eternity. and when you said something about C.S. Lewis, you do realize he wrote one of the most popular children's fantasy novel series of all time? proving what you were trying to dissprove in that he did not have a childish imagination. i dont believe in god, but i enjoy the the arguement that it entails, so feel free to respond......eric
  20. i thought of something regarding religion the other day...... think back to history class and remember learning about all the dominant cultures of past eras. the mayans had their own religion and they prospered for 100s of years. as did the greeks. so did the romans. so did the egyptians. so did the aztecs. the list keeps goin. now all these cultures have different religions and their populous whole-heartedly believed that they were correct in their beliefs and thought they would ascend to a higher being. now what makes you think that after thousands,if not tens of thousands of years of various religions, that the one that we have discovered is absolutely positively the correct one? wont the next great nation look back on us in a thousand years and wonder what kind of heathens believe in only one god and a messiah? well just my thoughts.....eric
  21. i have seen a video put out by a company that performs abortion and i can personally say that is one of the most detestable things a person could do in their life. once the "fetus" is developed enough they take an instrument that usually looks like a pair of tongs and inserts it into the woman and grabs onto the closest part of the fetus. it most often tears off with this force as it is still a very fragile being, so the numerous limbs must be extracted one by one until it's all removed. those images are still in my head and i understand how a girl can do it. i read a book recently at school entitled "My Darling, My Hamburger" and is an excellent portrayal of teenage life and especially the struggle of abortion. i would recommend it to anyone after a nice read (it only takes about 2-3 hours). on another note about the legal issues of abortion, i have read and heard about cases in the instances of homicides and car wrecks where the defendant is charged with not only the murder of the mother but with that of her unborn child. if the baby is deemed to have a legal life based on this situation then it is unfair and biased to change it in the face of abortion. it must either go one way or the other; riding the middle road is very precarious and unrighteous from my point of view. just my two, err three cents......eric
