i did not say i was looking for 100% praise as you so heavily put it, i simply said i went to a graphic site and asked them what they thought and it was all "great jobs" but this is not a graphic forum so i did not expect many to appreciate it i just wanted opinions and i got them, then you come tell me that its not grunge blah blah blah, there are many genres of grunge and this would fit.

he did not copy and paste the clip roflmfao thats impossible unless he wanted to copy each frame and paste it all, which is totaly titius, you have to save the clip and open in imageready, expand the canvas and paste the background onto it.

Damn, who knew there was so much contraversy on grunge style sigs :| Something I'd like to see YOU try is modeling. :D That would be fun. Whats so great about it? :? The abstract background has little depth, and (like most grunges) seems flat and boring, and the clashing stock photo on top of it doesn't seem too appealing. The text isn't special either, fortunately you've made that pretty subtle on your current one. The one with the clip totally clashes, even more so than the stock. Sorry mate, but I've seen better from you. You've been spending too much time at the grunge-crazed site, few people there know anything when it comes to design. :lol: its not supposed to be great, its a grunge, most grunge aren't great unless you are at a graphic based site that knows, and appreciates the time it takes, and as for modeling, i could never to it :roll: . when i got this sig rated at a graphic site, got nothing but praise, but on these sites its all trend and this sig is not trend, it was just somthing i had to do because i had hardly spent any time on grunge sigs. I had always been flaming them untill i realized the talent it took, and when people say "you just DL some brushes and go crazy" i thought it was true untill i tried it, slap some brushes on a sig and you get crap. If you want a good sig, you need layer balance and effects, this sig has no bushing it is all 3dsm and filters. The stock pic does not clash IMO, it is a very nice contrast from the oranges and reds, however i know how much you disaprove of adding stocks to sigs, if you find the right one, it does turn out alright. Then there is ofcourse the text, yes venomai, evreyone knows you're all about "typography" but remember, this is grunge, it needs flat and distorted text, hence the font ChickenScratch. As for the clip, I had no intention of adding it untill i read that it took some time, so i had to try it ofcourse. But half of the reason it took so long is because it made my computer run horribly slow, 275 odd frames. Then i had to move it to the corner, and ofcourse it froze, 10 minutes later it desides to cooperate. The bracket around it is just to make the illusion of a TV screen or somthing. So there we have the making of this sig, contraversy over please? :roll: thanks.
