  1. Ive been looking for the many different ways of dunking an orb into the altar. So far i haven't found anything online. So here is what i already know, if youve got any other tactics, please post. here is a screen shot of an altar http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/57/airaltar.png I used blue for the starting position and red for the ending position. The X marks the final location. Im using arbritrary names. Side Stroller: Difficulty: easy Description: One of the most straight forward dunks. In big altars the possibility of using it is often over looked. Pros: fast, long range, straight forward. Cons: Requires a direct line of fire. Side Winder: Difficulty: medium Description: One click dunk to pull orbs from behind pillars ;). Since RuneTek5 you must have run anabled to have a good experience with this. Pros: One click, one dunk. Cons: Many people don't know how to do this and instead go around and pull it out of the pillar, thus breaking the strategy. Jutters, if your run is not enabled it may backfire and instead push the ball to the pillar next to it. Altar puller: Difficulty: Medium Description: pulls an from behind a pillar and leaves it a step away from the altar. Pros: Can be used from a very convenient location. Cons: Does not dunk. Altar Puller Long: Difficulty: Medium Description: Pulls an orb a step behind a pillar and leaves it a step behind the altar. Pros: Makes light of an otherwise sticky situation. Cons: Team mates may mess you up if you don't act quick. Ping Pong Pull: Difficulty: Hard Description: Pulls an orb from behind stubs. Pros: One click dunk. Very very flexible position, you'll find your self near where your supposed to be for this one most of the time. Cons: Requires long range ping point precision. If you are a square to the side, or the ball is not where you think it is, you may be left like a silly goose pulling for nothing.
  2. Bounty Hunter worlds guide: Underground areas, such as the Chaos dungeons cannot be accessed. This implies that the Fist of guthix area (which is underground) cannot be accessed in Bounty Hunter worlds, which is not true. I have personally been inside it, though you cannot play fog while there or enter the lobby.
  3. And the 4 hour limit for needles is 100. So i cant buy any more needles on my main. Which sucks. I still don't understand how items are sold. for instance, i have 10 people selling items simultaneously. Who will sell first? here are the possibilities i think: 1. The one with the closest price to the buyers price. 2. They will all sell simultaneously. 3. the cheapest one first 4. in chunks 5. The one who started to sell earliest and is within the price specified by the buyer 6. The one in the buyers world first. ... im out of ideas.
  4. ive been trying to figure out the ge for a couple days now and I am now more mystified then ever. I have been buying a couple of thousand of an item in the ge at MAX price. the offer has been up for roughly 8 hours now. So i went in another account to sell some of the item, at max price, and when i try to do so, it doesn't sell. Its been trying to sell for nearly half an hour. Another thing that baffles me is the order of events. If someone is selling 500 Gold Bars at 600gp, and then someone else starts selling 50,000 gold bars at 610 and then someone comes along and starts buying 300 gold bars at 650. Which gold bars will be sold? and how many of them.
  5. anyone figure this out yet? is there any service that emails you on update? what can i do to be notified?
  6. dude chillax, if been here long enough to know that im not breaking any rules. I simply want someone to team up with me in power training fm/wc.
  7. anyone here want to help me power train wc/fm? here is how it goes: Me/you cut the willows, you/me burns them... pretty simple. if you have any doubts on how fast will this give you exp look here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=790803 we will both be earning greater amounts of exp then we would possibly be able to alone. ill be at world 4, my RSN is Oldarney.
  8. No, this forum is for asking for help, or giving advice by posting on other people's threads. I know this for a fact because I've had this argument with mods. This is more of a tip, which belongs in that tip sticky in General Discussion. "Whether you need help or are offering help, all questions belong here." i am offering help to those who are wondering weather to power cut yews or willows, and generally helping out everyone who is in the f2p WC business. so in a way this is advice... 9. hum, yeah i shoulda mentioned that this is an F2P view of woodcutting. i will edit and see what i can do. as for where this topic belongs, i couldn't find a better place, if there was an RS research papers forum, this would go in it.
  10. curious of wether Power wood cutting willows was actually worth it I took the liberty of gathering a bit of data on the subject. I went over to the Rimmington yews at night so that i would be completely alone. I timed my self on how long it would take to get a full load of yews when cutting trees non stop alone. Here are the results: These statistics were taken with a wc level of 80 and a rune hatchet. Procedure: begin at a position away from the trees while run is disabled, click the trees as soon as the "You Begin to chop the tree" message appears, start the timer when a tree goes down, run to the next contunue chopping as soon as the inventory fills, stop the timer Conclusion: Its well worth it to power cut willows for exp, as long as someone takes care of disposing the willows (say to burn them). Considering how busy yew tree locations that are close to the bank are, the rate at which one gains exp is well over 50% greater with willow trees compared to yews. Furthermore, if someone is to help you power train wc by burning the logs, that someone will be at a great disadvantage gaining firemaking exp (43% less then willow power wc).
  11. i was just about to get one. i might just get the 500k in essence instead.
  12. ooooooh wee im lucky that no body tested the script to see what it did.for unknown reasons let me just edit that.
