I don't care if Jagex only cares about money, it doesn't give them the excuse of restricting the free game too much. Deleting bots is one thing, but taking away something most free games have is totally unacceptable. How can you guys even defend that decision? I will admit that I am against the free game, I think it's just incredibly boring, but do I want people who don't pay for the game being unable to compare their scores with others? Hell no. I lost my respect for Jagex when they banned people for swearing when they didn't even use swear words. And the fact that they all of a sudden allow people to say the F word in the game proves their hypocrisy. If you defend Jagex's decision to remove the ability to compare scores with other players, I have no respect for you, I'm sorry. Again, I hate the free game, but making a decision that will discourage free players from playing the game is a sign of bad business.

So if I killed 2 steel dragons and got dragon platelegs, it must be a common drop, right? I mean I only had to kill 2 to get one...that's like a 50% droprate. That's not my point. You can't say something is rare unless you have killed at least 1,000 of that same monster. If you kill less than that I don't consider anything you do to be a rare drop from that monster. So if I killed 2 steel dragons and got dragon platelegs, it must be a common drop, right? I mean I only had to kill 2 to get one...that's like a 50% droprate. I've killed many thousands of many different monsters and only ever had like 3 diamonds as drops, therefore diamonds are like the rarest item in game. I actually agree, uncut diamonds are rare. But it's not the rarest item in RuneScape. I never said that dragon platelegs were the rarest items in the game, I said that they're rare. I'm sure half of a shield is much rarer than dragon platelegs.

Alright, maybe a lot of people need those platelegs, but that doesn't change the fact that they're rare drops from very powerful dragons. I get rune full helm around every 1/100 drops from greater demons, and rune scimitars 1/100 from fire giants and rune bars 1/300 from kalphite guardians. I have killed around 1,000 of steel dragons (possibly more as I have played for so many years) and have only gotten dragon platelegs once. So it is a rare drop from those dragons. Also, any monster is easy to kill if you know how to do it. But it doesn't matter how easily you can kill steel dragons they're still very powerful dragons.

I don't care if I get banned from this message board and I don't care if I get a warning, this needs to be said. Dragon platelegs are worth million coins at least. It might be easy for people to kill steel dragons if they know what they're doing and they have the right tools. But it's not easy for everyone. So it's total nonsense that they are now worth the same as the high alchemy value. Do you have any idea how rare of a drop it is from steel dragons? I have only gotten it once, and I kill a lot of those dragons. And to make matters worse half of a shield costs a lot less than the other half. There is absolutely no excuse for the dragon platelegs to be the same price as the high alchemy value. It is a valuable drop. You might as well sell bronze daggers for 50M coins.

Alright, I bought 7400 pie dishes, (out of 10K that I bought in total) and used most of my money on it. Unfortunately it will take a long time for it to be bought, so I'm taking a break until December 1. Or longer if I won't be able to buy those pie dishes by then. I'm gonna kill 1,000 steel dragons next, and since I need the money for antifire potions, there is no point in playing the game with so little money.

Yep, that's completely correct. Sadly, it's not possible to stop bad business. Millions of people play RuneScape every day. So there is no excuse to not treat the players with respect. In fact there is something else I wanna say. It took Jagex years to make the option of disabling filters. But nobody should be banned for speaking their minds, I hate it when somebody gets banned for swearing when he doesn't even use the word damn, hell or even the F word. It sickens me to no end. Also, there was no excuse to filter the word yahoo in the first place, it's more than just a company name, it's also a common phrase. I know this post is completely irrelevant to this thread, but this needed to be said, really, it did.

I really am ashamed of all the shitty decisions Jagex has made, no wonder a lot of people hate this game. But I have a question, are the people at World of Warcraft showing more respect to the fans? Really, I wanna know as I never played the game therefore can't judge by myself.

The worst part about this is they don't realize they are losing customers. If I can't even share my scores on a free game, would I ever buy the full version? Hell no.

I hate the f2p game, that's the reason I pay six dollars a month. And this thread makes me hate it even more. I used to be a douchebag and said "You need to be on a members server to talk to this guy." to all free players who wanted to talk to me, but I now realize this is no joke. But can you expect anything less? I mean Jagex is a company and their main goal is money. Why else do you think they were more concerned about swearing than the real issues the game had for years? Because all they want is money. Unfortunately Jagex is not the only company that's guilty of this, all companies are.

I know I'm not supposed to be here, but I can't help it. Banned because the summoning skill is nothing but a ripoff of Pokémon. It uses the same style, summoning monsters have the same abilities, training those summoning creatures have the same effect, I can go on and on. What's even more pathetic is when people defend the summoning skill by saying it's not a ripoff and make total idiots out of themselves trying to prove it. <_< I will shut up now, I promise.

No, I wasn't. I was being entirely honest in this thread. I did not make this thread to get reaction, I made it to speak my mind. But yeah as you can clearly tell I'm an idiot. And I just made myself more of an idiot by making this thread. I already got the answer in the first post, so I don't see a point in keeping this thread open. I would message my RuneScape friends to ask them about this, but the problem is I play RuneScape alone, I use skype and facebook to talk to friends. I will not be making a new thread on this message board for a long time, and I'm sticking to that.

Alright, I will try to get the Karamja gloves, and I might try using ranged on those dragons, so I appreciate your advice. But I won't train summoning, ever. Because I play RuneScape to get break from Pokémon, and since the summoning skill is a horrible ripoff I won't do it. But I appreciate the rest of your advice a lot, and will take some of those things into consideration, I don't see how I would need to use ranged on those dragons since I can kill them just fine with my dragon battleaxe, but who knows? I might try it out.

Let me tell you something, red dragons are very easy to kill as long as you have the right tools. I use my knight armor and fight them with dragon battleaxe all the time. I can kill 7-15 red dragons while using nothing but lobsters to heal myself. And anti-dragon potions to protect myself from their poison. Also why do you need to be close to a bank to kill a monster? Since when is that important? Law runes were invented for a reason, use them if you're so concerned about getting to a bank, I do that all the time. Oh and getting to the cave in Brimhaven is easy for me because I just steal money from guards and use the money to pay to get in there. I also would like to point out that black dragons, iron dragons and steel dragons might be easy to kill, but they are hard to kill if you don't have the right tools or levels. I always kill iron and steel dragons with magic and I kill black dragons with my dragon halberd. Now let me tell you something, just because you can't do something easily doesn't mean no one else can.

I love the skill slayer, and it gives me the ability to fight more monsters, but can somebody give me a legitmately good reason why Durdael doesn't assign red dragons? Is it because they drop a few items at a time? Maybe they do but their common rate of mithirl 2h swords, law runes, blood runes, death runes and rune arrows are very good drops and if you kill a lot of them you will end up with a lot of those things. Is it because red dragons are too weak? Not a possibility because he assigns fire giants, greater demons and many other weaker monsters. Is it because he only wants to keep one monster of each category? Again, not a possibility because if he did he wouldn't be assigning both greater demons and black demons. Or both iron and steel dragons. So that possibility is out the window as well. I'm not complaining, I just wanna know why? It makes no sense whatsoever.
