Oh -- I am not condoning it at all -- but I am trying to give you and the others here a sense of PERSPECTIVE. You're all acting as though this is the worst thing ever, and it's this response that is entirely laughable.
You can piss into the wind all you want, but it's not going to change the wind's direction, and you're only going to end up peeing all over yourself. Trying to declare something as self-evident to someone who cannot or will not agree to it is precisely the same thing. Judging them for it make it all more ridiculous, particularly when, in your own back yard, you're committing far worse atrocities in the same name of those same inalienable universal human rights.
In the end, you can only laugh at people who proclaim that they've been tortured by playing video games. Sure it's mean. Sure it's awful. But on the grand scale of things, it's not half as bad as the worst things that are going on in this world.
I respect the intentions but you're failing on your execution. Unless the perspective you are trying to impart on the community is "Nothing you do matters and you're all hypocrites."
Being disturbed by violations of human rights has nothing to do with what nationality you claim. It has to do with your beliefs, morals, and standards. One person cannot forcibly change the world to their liking, this is true, but killing that feeling in them or demeaning it is asinine. People should be encouraged to feel that way and, more than that, to act on those feelings in productive ways to produce change.
You keep saying playing video games isn't torture as if that is the only thing being scrutinized here. It is a myriad of things, from physical abuse to sleep deprivation to psychological trauma. I don't see how someone cannot come to terms with why such conditions are damaging to a person's well being.

The point isn't that it's a lesser wrong, the point is that calling it torture is practically an insult to proper torture. Forcing inmates to play WoW, however inhumane it might be, really doesn't come close to being in the league that people typically associated the word "torture" with. Physical abuse? Does it involve daggers being stuck into you while you're trapped in an iron capsule? Whipped raw in public? Skin peeled away, an inch at a time, with a razor? Head forced into ice cold water until you're barely conscious? A caged rat placed on your body, with the cage set ablaze, forcing the rodent to burrow through the victim? Sleep deprivation... don't make me laugh. Dedicated college students undergo sleep deprivation all the time simply due to schoolwork overload, on top of having to manage a job. And they're paying for it.
Inhumane as this situation might be, calling it torture is laughable. This isn't being done in some sadistic way, and it doesn't even come close to the brutality that the word torture generally implies. It's horrible that there are people are doing this to each other, but the reactions here are way exaggerated.

WEAPON Chaotic Staff = Staff of Light = Master Wand - Chaotic staff for Damage, Master wand for accuracy, Staff of light for a nice middle ground and rune savings.
Where do you really need the +3 mage attack or whatever the master wand adds? +3 mage attack is not going to be more useful then the 5% extra damage* sol adds or the 10% extra damage* the chaotic staff adds. The only thing the master wand has going for it imo is that mage pures can use it.
*In the magic damage column.
Also, what's the amulet of ranging like compared to fury again? Overall your list was pretty damn good but a few areas not 100% accurate.
When you're PKing, magic attack can often matter more. For instance, while TBing / Entangling, I'd take an extra .5% accuracy over an additional 10% damage (on a wonderful max hit of 30) any day. It sort of applies to Ancients too - you're usually trying to force them to change to mage pray and/or freeze them. You'll lose a lot more kills because you didn't have 20 more seconds to deal damage than you will because the 3-4 casts you used didn't do 10% more damage.

Was tanking Zaros Phase and was at 63 LP with no pray or brews with her redbarred, when I saw her go down I was like LOLOLOLOL good thing I didnt tele.
Getting a lot better at not derping as well, looks like I'm going to be Nexing for a loooong while.

Plus I know they'd all bless if I died so I went in hero mode and wanted to see if I could live.

Notice that a significant amount of evidence has been provided to show the scripts are perfectly legal, including the fact that no one using the scripts in the ways prescribed thus far has been banned or in any other way punished or warned by Jagex. The only evidence at all to suggest that these scripts are not permissible is the obscure interpretation of the 1:1 rule set forth by Jagex.
So again, why is it suddenly guilty until proven innocent?

That's a pretty petty example. It's obvious that it was a sarcastic response, didn't add anything to what was being discussed, etc.
It wasn't modded for being off-topic, it was modded for being derogatory. And in fact, the rest of the comment WAS on-topic. Sarcasm or not, the comment can only be construed as an derogatory if the action that was being remarked upon was considered wrong.

As I have said before to others; there are constructive and less constructive ways to go about it if you want rules changed. World 2 Fally riots is rarely effective, neither is being overly argumentative on a forum. Saying this as a user of several forums, where I have influenced both the rules and moderation processes.
Except that's all water under the drawbridge now. TEF's administrators has already determined that Tip.It is not capable of changing to their liking, hence them moving on to their own forum instead.

Yeah, I wanted a good faith effort from both sides.
I don't know if you noticed, but a lot more than 2 people felt a huge need to see certain moderators removed from power.
Two of which demonstrated within the past week yet again that they are willing to do something purely out of pride, that they KNEW was wrong.
I've noticed whats happened, and i've said multiple times that I cannot condone every action - say it was the right one, but I will say as a user, you only see so much of what goes on, and you guys are quite biased in your personal judgements of who is bad/good as a moderator.
I'll repeat what I mentioned earlier.
Logdotzip noted that a certain moderator, who I will not name for privacy reasons, was "good at deleting posts."
Said post was deleted for being derogatory towards a moderator.

No, I'm using this analogy because it was a 2 hour long conversation that I was personally witness to, that pissed a LOT of people off... and you're asking everyone to relive it lol.
Don't worry though, I'm pretty sure the whole thing will come out pretty soon, and then it'll just be another thing for people to [bleep] about.

Just recently, a post was deleted for notifying a specific moderator he was "good at deleting posts." The given reason was that the post was a derogatory comment about a moderator. News flash - telling someone they're good at something is not derogatory, unless you consider that something to be inherently wrong. Ironically, their solution was to delete the post.
Why would this fansite lie? Dumb pride. Plenty of evidence has been shown, supporting that these scripts were perfectly legal as defined by previous statements by Jagex and the current wording of the rule. But of course, they can't admit that a mistake was made. So they need SOMETHING to make it look as if they weren't assuming "guilty until proven innocent."
Besides, it's just not about contacting Jagex - it's the way Jagex is contacted. There are hundreds of ways you can phrase the question, not all of which convey the proper message. In either case, if the administration believes that it's against the rules even though plenty of arguments have been made for why it's not (arguments that have, for the most part, gone unaddressed), then it's the fansite's responsibility to contact Jagex and provide the evidence.
And finally, the most important piece of evidence is still completely lacking. It was claimed by the administration that its interest is in protecting the users from being punished for something they were lead to believe is permissible. If that's the case, the administration should at the very least show evidence that using these scripts, according to the given instructions (maintaining a 1:1 input to output ratio) has previously resulted in a ban or some other form of punishment.

By my understanding of a touchscreen emulating script and the posts here explaining in detail the actions performed, I would have to say that using it could endanger your account of being banned, temporarily or otherwise. (In-game, of course.) I do not claim to be an expert in its usage, only the guidelines that have been outlined for staff to follow and the understanding of the (summary in this case) rules as laid out by Jagex indicate that references to said script would be best removed.

By your understanding, but you have no evidence whatsoever that this has been punished in the past, and many people have already pointed out that these scripts are in accord with Jagex's "one input, one output" policy. A key stroke is a physical input every bit as much as a tap on a touchscreen, and the resulting output is the same.
Das is probably right - you should have the channels of communication open, to ask for confirmation from Jagex directly. But at the moment, you hardly have enough evidence to support your claim that using such scripts puts players at risk. Certainly not enough to take action against those who would provide these scripts, unless you are also implying that your policy is now "guilty until proven innocent."

Edit: Because I have that advantage, it should be available to everyone. Cheezedude and Wicked are kind enough to give up their time trying to provide that same advantage to people who can't afford a touchscreen.
I see that as more of an issue with Jagex who has not maintained their standards with current technology rather than Tip.it's. If a fansite chooses to enforce the rules of the game it's about, if the rules of the game have not changed to meet current standards of technology and people are still actively punished for such things, and if they choose to do so out of the interest of protecting their users I don't see much of an alternative.
Who's been actively punished for using a touchscreen, or touchscreen emulating script?

If you're poor as dirt, Nex isn't for you. Supplies cost a lot, gear costs a lot, and there's always a risk of something going wrong (server crash, internet troubles, etc) that can set you back a long way.
Asides from Pernix body though, most GE prices are about right, and you can potentially just join random Coinshare teams from RSOF if you're absolutely insistent on going after Nex now. I'd recommend against it but that's your decision.

I think you already found the problem yourself. If accuracy is the issue, you need a higher ranged level and better equipment. That's really all you can do. Switching to Infinity boots will not improve your DPS very much.
If you're worried about accuracy, get down to the Frost dragons resource dungeon, and get a pair of Ranger boots. The attack bonus is a significant improvement over Snakeskin. Archer's ring (i) would help a lot, too, but use it for most of the fight, and switch on Ring of wealth when you're at the end. You can also try Eagle-eye kiteshield over the Spectral spirit shield. It has almost as much magic defense, but has range attack too. You could also go for a Divine / Elysian, but that'll take a bit more money.
I don't know if the Verac's helm is necessary with your current setup. If you don't need the added defense, perhaps switch it to more offensive gear too.

Join the losing team with 2 minutes to go in the game. Finish. Hop to another world with 2 minutes to go. Join the losing team. Finish. Hop again, repeat.
You'll need several worlds on rotation, and probably some help since I don't think the non-CW worlds are crowded enough, but it's easily possible to do 10+ games in an hour.

I was flipping virtus masks when they happened to take that huge crash lately and i am stuck with one, if i sell now it'll be a ~30m loss... not a huge deal for me... but do you guys think I am better off hanging onto it and breaking even possibly if it rises again, or just selling now because there is no hope of it rising again? thanks
I haven't been in the virtus market, but I highly doubt it'll rise. Basically the only use for Virtus is soul wars, as far as I can tell. Very little demand = falling prices.
