I use the Games Necklace myself to teleport to Bounty Hunter since it's near the entrance more than Edgeville and Grand Exchange, plus it too has a bank and you don't have to deal with jumping the ditch. There are plenty of places you can sit and activate the necklace including going back to the Cave Bugs portal.

I wrote this all tonight, so I'm sorry if it's rather sketchy. It's for an English class, and please excuse any misspellings, I'll be correcting it some other time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "My Comrad, My Friend" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I stared into the distance at the great land they call the Wilderness. As they say, anything goes, no rules. The ground seemed to go from a lush green almost directly to a deep shade of brown, as if the ground had been scorched. I turned around and decided to sit on a rock that was jutting out of the ground, hanging over the river Lum, waiting for a few of my friends to show up. We were planning on going on a killing spree in the Wilderness. I was backing up one of my friends with some distance. I carry a Magic Shortbow with me almost all the time, along with Rune Arrows in my quiver. I was donned in full Black Dragonhide. The sun reflected off the top of the water onto the tanned scales of dragonhide, creating a glitter effect across my body. "Yo Val! We're here!" Richie said in the distance. I quickly turned around to see Richie and three more of my friends walking towards me. "Hey guys, where've you been? I've been waiting here for quite a while." I asked them. "We were at Richie's house, taking care of a few things before we made our way here to Edgeville." replied Josh, another member of the group. "So, are we ready then?" I finally asked. "Yeah," Richie said excitedly while holding his Abyssal Whip. "I just need to remind myself of what each of us are exactly doing. You and Josh are on ranged duty. Harold, over there, is on magic. Myself and Roland are on melee detail." "Exactly" I agreed. "I got a whip as well just a few days ago." Roland blurted out randomly. "Great... Thank you for stating the obvious. We can see it in your hand." Richie sarcastically replied. "I using Ancient Magicks, since I finally learned enough about the ancient spells to be able to cast Ice Barrage." Harold eagerly spoke. "I think we're ready then. Since I called this team together, I will be calling out the orders. If anyone even thinks of disobeying my direct order, I will not hesitate to kill you myself. If that's all, then let's head on north." We began treading north, through rows and rows of dead trees. The compass I was carrying began to go haywire after we reached a few miles inward. I finally got fed up with it and threw it to the side, shattering it into pieces. After a while of going farther in... some kind of direction... we saw somebody running through a few trees. "Harold, freeze him in his tracks!" "Yes sir!" All of a sudden, a block of ice was seen in the distance. "The target has been stopped." "Great! Josh, lets take out this pipsqueek." Him and I began launching quick arrows through the air, hitting the target with almost perfect procision. "Val, the ice is beginning to melt, should I fire another barrage?" "No, he'll be fine. Roland, head on up there and finish the job." "Yes sir." As he got closer, I could hear what he said. "RRAAAAGGG!" He pull out his favorite weapon from his belt cache, his Dragon Long Sword. He came down on the top of the ice and sliced his way all the way to the ground, killing the victim instantly. As the ice melted, on the ground dripped their blood from both the body and the sword. "Sir, I think he's dead." Roland yelled. "Captain Obvious strikes again." Richie laughed. "Where'd you pick up this guy?" Josh whispered in my ear. "I helped him out earlier this year, so I thought he'd like to go on a little killing trip with us." All of a sudden, the victory cry was stopped short. A flurry of arrows came from behind the trees. "Oh my god, this stupid kid was some kind of lurer. Everyone, take cover behind the rocks!" As Roland began running towards us, he stopped instantly. We saw the spells of another Ancient Mage being cast in the background, while an archer backed him up. We watched in horror as Roland was frozen into a block of ice. The look in his eyes, I could read them perfectly. The eyes of fear, of terror. Almost as instantly as he was turned into ice, it began to melt. We thought he was breaking himself free of the frozen bonds, but in reality, he was getting burned alive from the other side of him. He almost immediately burst into flames, his armor turning a glowing red from the intense heat of the fire blasts shot at him. We turned away just in time, as his body fell to the ground, his cape still burning from the fire. "Roland! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" Josh began to scream. "Pull yourself together!" I yell at him. "He's dead and we're not. Let us avenge his death. Harold, Barrage them both!" "All right!" He launched two ice spells at the enemies, freezing them in their places. "Go on in Richie and take the one on the left down. Josh, you and I'll take down the other one." After a few seconds of fighting, the person that Richie took on was laying on the ground, wounded beyond medical attention. The guy that Josh and I took down looked more like a voodoo doll rather than your average person. The fight was finally over, and we took the spoils of the fight from the defeated and decided to give Roland a proper burial rather than just leaving him above ground, where the scavengers and various rats would take nibbles out of him. "Men, we've lost a good fighter, a good friend." I spoke sadly. "He wasn't my friend." Richie whispered under his breath. "Put a lid on it Richie! Just because you and I are friends doesn't mean I won't lay your dead body right next to those other three." I yelled to him. "Hey, lay off him dude." Josh intervened between us. "We're all depressed because of our loses. You, Val, of your friend and you, Richie, of a fighting partner." I began digging a grave for Roland with a spade I found a few yards away from the battlefield. Harold had found a couple sticks and tied them together with some tree roots, and made them into the shape of a cross. He stuck it into the ground, just above Rolands head. I covered his body with the dirt I had dug up making the hole. "I lost a good friend. A fine fighter. A comrade. May your soul live on, into the next life, and may Guthix watch over you and guide you safely through the many roads of the afterlife." I cried. It was the first time in a long time since I cried. "Would anyone else like to say anything in respect to Roland's passing?" "Out of respect, I don't think I should say anything, for reasons due to how I treated him." Richie spoke up. "I would agree with your statement, you shouldn't open your mouth after what you said to him and about him." Harold snickered a bit under his breath. I wiped the tears away from my eyes and turned around to face the others. "I think we should start heading back. The best thing to do is to head on home and take a good long break. I think we've all had enough adventuring for one evening." "Oh, here. I brought these for all of us, so I could head back home when we were done out here," Harold passed out some clay tablets that had been infused with the power of runes. "They're Falador teleports. That way, we can all head to our portals near Taverly easily." "Thanks a lot." Josh said. He wanted to stay out of the conversations for the most part, thinking that if he butted in, he'd just stir up more trouble. We all cracked the tablets below our feet and sank down into the ground as the world changed around us. We dropped off everything else we had on us at the bank and walked to Taverly. The walk there was someone relaxing, even though we all were stressed out by what we saw today. We all stood infront of the portal and looked at each other. "Hope you can feel somewhat better Val." Josh told me. "Same here, the both of us." Harold spoke for him and Richie. "Thanks. I hope you all can have a good night's rest." I spoke quietly. "Goodnight." I entered the portal and was greeted by my butler. "Good evening, sir. Would you care for something to eat, or would you like some tea?" "I'm fine. I'm going to just head to bed. I've had a long day." "Okay sir. Have a good night's rest." "Thanks. If anyone wants me at all tomorrow, tell them that I am not seeing anyone." "Can do sir. Goodnight." "Goodnight." I entered my bedroom, closed the door, and stared at the wall. As I looked, I saw the picture that Roland and I had painted for us. The first time we ever met, back at the fishing hole south of Edgeville. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. I held them back, extingquished the candles, and went to bed. The feeling of lossing someone takes a lot out of you. Within minutes, I was sound asleep and dreaming of Roland and I's past adventures.

are we gaining or losing players in rs?
Arch3r_Elit3 replied to Star_Fox's topic in General Discussion
I honestly think the actual players of rs are leaving more and more. If you want to put it in some kind of perspective, think of this: 250k accounts How many of those accounts aren't macroing accounts? Honestly, I don't know, but I'm guessing we've got a lot of accounts that are actual players. So I'm guessing around... 150-200k actual people playing and not computers. -
To: Mega; Do you think I should lower the tones of some of the colours? If so, which ones?
-
Thanks destro. What they're supposed to be are banners stuck in the ground... I don't know if that'll change your idea about them
-
I got inspired by this when I looked at all the god banners and shield crests available, and thought of making my own changes to them... Without further ado: So, what do you people think?
-
Thanks a lot for replying guys.. I was thinking of putting this post on the main forums as well, see if anyone else would like it.. Is that a good idea?

I just came up with this idea a few minutes ago... We all know that bank space is one of the most precious things to us. One thing that takes up those spaces though is clothing, Robes, random event clothing, holiday clothing, ect... it all takes up bank space. My suggestion was, add a "Wardrobe Closet" to the POH (or improve upon the previous wardrobe closet existing), where you can store all of your clothing. That means, party hats, santas, ghostly robes, even tribal clothing if you have it, it's all stored there. And for people who want added security so in case someone happens to get on their account they don't want to, they can have a key available/made and can fit it on their key ring, or it uses the same Bank PIN as the account :) So... what do you think of my idea?

Why Does Everyone Hate Firemaking?
Arch3r_Elit3 replied to PumpkinPete112's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Firemaking can be rather boring at times... Most of the time it is... But, it is useful for people who like to burn shades, seeing as you need higher levels for Pyre logs and such o.O... -
Actually people, Jagex didn't make a mistake. If you look at the book Ghrim gave you, "Managing Thine Kingdom for Noobes", you'll read that there are limits to what is given away as payment and what the most you can deposite is. Here's a little graphic picture to show you:

and What do you guys think?

Barrows For Lower Levels - ed 25 Oct 2006 (AOW discussion)
Arch3r_Elit3 replied to Satenza's topic in General Guides
Unless this has already been proven, what if you bring runes for Crumble Undead rather than other bolt spells? -
The reason the guard thows you into jail is because you are (most likely) holding a weapon of some kind (pick, sword, axe, ect...) I hope this helps you out.

Runescape Console Game + other ideas for RS
Arch3r_Elit3 replied to daftpunk1232's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Well i don't know about the X-box or X-box 360 but, i do know that the ps2 does have a keyboard and mouse and i believe that if Jagex gets better servers and makes a consol game that they should have the game play the same or have a 1st person mode available to players, plus better graphics and new stuff. P.s srry if this post isnt orgnizied im just a messy person sometimes. -
First time for everything, right? First sig, please rate it
Arch3r_Elit3 replied to Arch3r_Elit3's topic in Art and Media
Again, thanks Alex. The main reasons why I take to critisism so well is because I've been "living" on other forums, like RuneVillage and YuGiOhRealms, where I've gotten a lot of help, both positive and negative. Also, I've seen so many people at those forums bash one another over some of the smallest things. I'm glad I'm not one of them, at least, I hope I'm not on those forums.......... Anyone else is welcome to respond :) -

Arch3r_Elit3 replied to Arch3r_Elit3's topic in Art and Media
Thanks a lot, Alex. As I've said, this is my first time trying sigs out. I know I ain't going to make a career out of it (lol), but, it's pretty fun to do stuff like this. Yeah, I totally agree with you on the background issue, I just came up with it at the last moment, also, I'm not too familier with PSP 9 much, so the background will be a problem for me for a little while (my free trial is almost at an and, lol) Anyone else wish to add some creative critisism? -
Ok, this is my first EVER sig I've made for any forum. Please, C/C and Rates are all welcome. I made the Magic Shortbow and Robin Hood Hat in MS Paint, then put it on a background from PSP 9, followed by a neat font I have called "Gothic_Love_Letters" Oh, and to those curious, I'm a Free Player, so I didn't have much to work off of, just some images on the Ranging Guide here.

Thanks a lot Zonorhc. :) This is just something I came up out of the blue, so its drops won't be stable, as you said. Any other comments or suggestions anyone?
