http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waka_%28canoe%29 I don't know if any of you noticed, but a Waka is a Maori canoe, and the guy in Edgeville who supposedly invented them looks a LOT like a Maori (the native people of New Zealand), with the coloring and the face tattoo. He says "his people", so they are going to be a tribe of some sort in RuneScape, and another canoe guy near the Champions' says Hari was born in the Wilderness.

Just for the record: You require 60 Attack to wield any of the melee weapons (not sure if maul also has a strength req). You require 60 Range to wield the chakrams; I haven't tested this but I presume you require 60 Magic to wield the staff. And, I also haven't tested this, but in all likeliness you need 60 Defence to wear the shield.
