awesome article, i do love how the new graphics make me feel like a new player in runescape again. ive always found myself replaying the lumbridge songs like harmony and flute salad to re-experience the excitement i had when i first joined. :)

im thoroughly excited about the graphical improvements, ive been waiting for this for a long time, and ive always wanted runescape to be fullscreen. this is a much needed improvement, hopefully fishing thousands of monkfish will be less killyourself boring when your not staring at a homogeneously blue blanket of nothingness they claim is water :D - im truly looking forward to the update, who says you cant have functionality and flash?

my first day in runescape, i was strolling just outside lumbridge. some guy came up to me saying "follow me if you want to be rich and powerful." who wouldnt want to be rich and powerful? so of course i followed him. the journey felt like it took hours, and i think he got lost somewhere along the way. eventually the ground started getting barren and the multitudes of people disappeared. soon he says to me "okay, up ahead theres gonna be a sign pop up, but just ignore it, it doesnt mean anything." okay, a little odd i thought, but surely i can trust this guy. i became a little distraught when i say the skull on the sign, but nevertheless i neglected to read it. as we journeyed deeper into this barren land a stranger ran up to me screaming "run noob! run!" just then my acquaintance turned around and started hitting me, all the while telling me that we were in a training area and i wouldnt actually die. the kindly stranger was telling me something about him being a lurer and that i should run, but my acquatance was going on saying that "im your friend, you trust your friends dont you?" i was aware by now that my life was in peril, so i darted off as quick as my level 3 feet could carry me, but alas, it was not meant to be as my foe dealt the fatal blow. In conclusion, that night i learned what it truly meant to be a newb. I am the epitome of newb. Needless to say, i never followed another person into the wilderness again. :D

City guides would be nice too, but the one thing tip.it needs is a price guide. Seriously, price guide is a must, I also use zybez for that one purpose because tip.it is only lacking in that area, and though zybez has a pretty good price guide, tip.it could have one as well, then i could just stay on this one site.

Alright, well its fixed... took long enough too. I walked far enough away from Lumbridge that Zanik vanished, then I walked back to the basement got him again and went back to the goblins and he noticed them. Glad thats finally over. Anyway, thanks for the help everyone. :D

Well, I visited Bob and the Cook, but ive taken Zanik everywhere by Lumbridge where there are goblins, even in that little house thats full of them, and I went back to the basement and went back to the goblins, but she still doesnt notice them. And when I talk to her asking if she's seen enough of lumbridge, she still says she wants to see surface goblins.

yeah, i already did all the other lumbridge activities, i.e. talking to duke, talking to the priest, and visiting the general store. Zanik still says she will talk about the mark on her forehead after i finish showing her around lumbridge.

I was running across the bridge in lumbridge and accidentally clicked somewhere when Zanik noticed the goblins twice, so it overided the conversation, and now I cant get her to notice the goblins, I have gone back across the bridge many times, and I have visited many over places full of goblins, and I have logged out and back in several times. Someone help me please.

I dont know why pure ess prices are 50gp each, think about it, it does the EXACT same thing it did a few days ago, made runes, except for two things, the name changed, and the people who could use them changed, but it still does the same thing, but people think that since it is "pure" it must be worth more, but again, it does the EXACT SAME THING AS BEFORE.

Hmm, yes well another reason it may take me so long is because i am distracted so easily, after a couple dozen trips to entrana i hear my xbox beckoning, and have to go kill some grunts :D, and ive been using the glory to go to draynor after crafting the laws, and using the games necklace to go recharge it every 172 laws, or 4 trips (just thinking about the giant pouch and gettin 1k laws in under 20 runs...) and yet it still takes a while... it makes me wish there was an "entrana teleport" or something... i really need to find a better way of making money, the same trip to entrana so many times can get a little... dull. By the way, puddin_tane, i did very much enjoy the taxable virtual money story, even though i heard it on NPR, i was very much surprised to find out that the IRS could get involved when you, oh say, got a dragon half shield from a steel dragon or that such.

I have 57 runecrafting and my best way to make money is spending hours upon hours doing the long journey to entrana, and in the end after about 3 hours of work i make 300k, and i truly think 1k law runes should be worth more after all the work i put it to make then, and i am overcome with curiosity by exactly HOW people can make 300k per hour like the author mentions? Also, puddin_tane, did you happen to hear that story about how these items from games is taxable on NPR? Thats where i heard it, and i thought it was very interesting.

Loved it, but what about the time in january when all the 15k players where banned, didnt that affect the phat prices?
