I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but I have to say it. I'm kinda bustin up laughing here. Some of these sigs are REALLY bad crop jobs using REALLY low image qualities. why oh WHY are they even being submitted. Some people spend way too little effort on their comp entries these days! Not to be insulting, just a casual observation. I won't even name the people that are subject to this post, because it's so obvious =x. Now back to the hole I came from! yes yes!

I'm gonna get to that tomorrow! Not so much the money, I just want to see if I can get my skills working on larger images using this 128 MB RAM laptop (factory graphics card!). I'll have to spend a few hours but don't count me out!

Hey, Froth... It isn't misaligned, the piece is too small. You highlighted too small. I moved your piece all around and it is just BARELY too small for the slot. When I added extra area in the piece itself so that it would fit, it looked like there was a big huge black border around it. And Tomato, You accidentally made your right side 1 px smaller. You seem to have added an inner border, because the second submission was just 1 px smaller than the first! How do people do things like that...

re-outline? I just made sure it matched up as well as it could with the original piece dimensions =P. My outline just happened to match up perfectly (I think perfectly!)

The use of a font depends on your style... for example, I am more minimalist, so I tend more toward the pixel fonts. Someone like Metal, though, would probably use some crazy detailed font since he likes doing that. It's all in your style! Chuu See?

Filesize is massive. He made a .jpg! RUN AWAAAAAY! You know you can save .jpg's at 100% so they don't loose any quality.. Did I say that was why? I just don't like .jpg images =P I am fairly sure you can't do transparency sigs in .jpg, but I don't remember, as I don't use that format anymore =P

Sorry dude I have to agree. Everything clashes with everything else. It looks like you found a bunch of aspects that you liked and put them together, without noting that they completely killed the looks of each other.

1. The image is 190X190... biggest it can be is 300X150. 2. It's 72,000+ bytes... The limit is 30,000 bytes. Make it get those and it'll be pretty good. Just gotta chang the text and speed up the frame rate, since that rate makes it look REALLY choppy.

Do you mean that you are offering your sig making abilities? You told me to find your mistakes... Don't blame me for cooperating. And what we mean by "don't put up 5 minute samples" is something with meaning. We mean that samples are supposed to display your talents. You shouldn't have to make an excuse for work that you would charge 400k for. If you expect such income, you should expect people to judge your work... Harshly. Anybody would be remiss not to. Oh and I forgot to add. In this forum, you DON'T have to establish yourself to me or anybody else, this is true. This choice does exist. But if you choose not to, why are you in the Media Board? :lol:
