  1. Alright, so, I'll go ahead and do my background. That way, I can visualize my light source better (As I'll have a definite light source), then I'll reshade. That sound good?
  2. Alright, I'll work with the shading right now. I see what you're saying- I used the same colors in each area I shaded (On the hair, and the grey-silver part of the robe) But, How would I go about bringing out the shape of his body?
  3. Updated, and revised. Give me more comments before I start on the BG!
  4. If you're implying that I used the circle tool for my head, then, well, you're wrong :D. The head was my very first attempt at pixelling, of course I made it before the body. So, it does look a bit round and neck-less, because I didn't study a body until I made it to his torso. However, it's not too difficult to fix. I've also tried to make it look less pixelly, I'll post a new one once I'm done with the head.
  5. Comments, Criticizing, and Tips more than welcome! Note: This is my first ever shot at a pixel-sig thing, as it says in the subject bar. Revision 1: Reshaded the robes, and Tried to smooth out the pixels. Fixed the hair, and added a neck. Revision 2: Reshaded Again! Fixed some of my linework Revision 3: Fixed hair! Now I'll finally get started on a background. Version 2: Started on a background, and I think I've found a weakness! Argh! Comments and criticism on the background, or things I should do = Greatly appriciated.
  6. Text: Lorddragonxx in Visitor font =P and the text "What decides who lives or dies?" Characters/Action/Clothes: Well, I'll go incredibally detailed within this one. Many times, I hear artists commenting upon how they need detailed posts, so, I figured if I include emotions, it'll help. Now, in war, you always hear of the killing, and what an effect it has on the people who kill. So, I want a man, with white/silverish hair, about shoulder length. We'll add the runescape factor with him wearing some sort of robes, like I said, grey/blackish. Also, we'll presume ahrims, but, no hood. Ooh, maybe the faint hint of a tear? That'd look awesome. And some rain, and thundery effects like you mentioned :P. He has a dragon long sticking into the ground. He's looking downard, and sits upon a tree stump, with a sad aura about him. Background: In a barren landscape, with dead bodies, or to make it easier on you: silhouettes of dead people. I understand this can be difficult, so, if you wish to refuse this signature, it'll be okay. And no rush, take all the time you need.
  7. -Edit: I no longer require a pixel sig! Sorry for any trouble this has caused.
  8. Alright, If I were you, I'd delete the second one (Without text) now... Someone might put text on it and claim it as their's, I've got it in my posesssion :)
  9. Nope! None at all, I love it! Thanks man. I'll still keep a tab on your work, you seem to be a natural for this.
  10. A dead give-away (at the time) would have been that Plate requires a higher lvl of smithing than 2-hander :D Just some observation on my part. Anyway! Take all the time you need on mine, and on your artist comment earlier, your work is great. I can't pixel to save my life, and if you said you just started, then I can't wait 'til you become an expert :D So, Lookin' good, man.
  11. Hey, um, am I not on the Waiting List? =\ I was the first to post, so, I should be there, right? Or did you miss my name by accident?
  12. Lol, well, no wonder it's became flooded... Free sigs and a good artist!
  13. I did use the code, notice the "Character #1, #2, ect"
  14. Eh, I like doing my own text. We're both in the foreground :D And I'm casting a spell, he's about to, but it appears like he's too slow in the sig.
  15. Lol, I just got your reply! Character #1: Mage With Ahrims/Sara Book/Ancient Staff Casting Ice Barrage Character #2: Mage with Black Mystic robes, raising Ancient Staff as if he's about to cast a spell Background:Wild Near the Greater Demons, maybe a bit of one, a wing, or something in the background. Foreground: Me on one-side(Ahrims) The Mysticer on another. Ice Barrage Hitting the mystic mage, and ice forming on a tree or two :P Helpful Pics: (Mystic Black) Other Information: I do the text myself, that should save a bit of work! EDIT: I'm so sorry! I just noticed I had them mixed up! (Foreground and background)
  16. Well, before I begin my description of it, please read what's in it for you! This will be up to 500mb of space, and up to 10Gig of bandwidth in an FTP account on my website, which will allow for a lot of hosting space, unequivilent to ImageShack :D. Now, of course, the more I like it, the more space/bandwidth you'll get. So, description: Size: 150px X 300px An Ahrims mage with Ancient Staff, Obsidian cape, and Saradomin book, casting Ice Barrage in a Wild setting, on a guy with Saradomin Helm, Plate, and Legs. Obby cape and shield, and a mage with full mystic Black. Also, add my name (Lorddragonxx) in the corner or whever deemed appropriate. Credit will be given to you :) Edit: GoldWolfLord got the account! In note of the hosting - It will never expire (Unless I Decide not to renew the domain, and server downtimes not included, as, it might be down sometime.)
  17. No, Game Informer, Issue 156, pages 22-23 =) Sorry to get off topic there, ahem. Yes, I agree that it will influence the number of players, but how much, I don't really know. But yes, Game Informer has a slew of subscribers that have Internet Access, I assume, as they have content for online users. It may push Jagex to work on larger updates, but, as the article was released this month - It's too early to say.
  18. In this month's Game Informer, I read the editor's note about three new content sections. I decided to rush, and check them out - as I've been a long-time GI subscriber. I then spot this: "The Top Ten Games You've Never Heard Of," I browse, and at #4, I spot the game that we all love and/or hate, Runescape. A small bit of the article: The article goes on about the subscription options, and has the website for the game. However, do you think this will bring a swarm of players to the Jagex owned game?
  19. http://cyberpowersystem.com - Where my computer is currently from. http://falcon-nw.com - A friend of mine purchased a computer through them, great company. http://go-l.com If you're richer than the rest of us! All of these are located in the United States.[/url]
  20. You beat me, I learned at 128mb RAM... Now those were the days. I've been using Maya for a lot of character modeling, it's quite expensive, but I think it's worth it.
  21. As I told a friend earlier, the renders and text were a rush-job. I hastily cut them out (I'm sure you can spot some flaws within them) and I didn't construct too much thought on balance. I was more-or-less trying to put some stuff on a seemingly empty background. If I had the PSD still, I would go back and delete everything (renders and stuff) and give it a more solid text effect, and incorporate some patterns to spice it up. So, I'll get on to that after I finish this website layout.
  22. Yeah, I haven't quite gotten the hang of blending renders yet. But none the less! Rate and Critique Please.
  23. Be nice if you would give me some feedback, like what's good and bad about it? What I could do to fix it? But whatever. 7/10 Nice idea, and solid brushing. No real action other than the render though, but the render is blended well with the background, and matches the background.
