nice that you got some free membership

RuneScape vs. Real-world Trading
Also, you say "Who would play this nightmare?", yet you take the time and effort to register on a RuneScape forum to post it.
i wouldn't live in darfur but that doesn't mean i don't care about the outcome there

I love using potions in Clan Wars. It makes people think I'm stronger than I really am. :D
PS: There are wayyyyyyy too many smilies in that post. :shame: :shame: :shame:
his ratio is seventy words per smiley (about 700 words, 10 smileys)
your ratio is six-seven words per smiley (26 words, 4 smileys)

We can PvP anywhere? Does this mean if we're in Full Rune, if we're killed, we lose full rune? Umm... I'll stick with Bounty Hunter then.
Oh well then.
Besides, it's not about what you want...But I'd suggest reading the front page more often, although it seems many fail to do so already. And, if it isn't in the front page, look for it.
I just play the game, the taking out wildy update I read, and I said that was the last time I would read it, unless it's something REALLY good, =P.
and you wouldn't know if something good were coming unless you read the front page.

this only happens when a server goes down, ie a problem on jagex's end. that doesn't happen that much, and if it seems to be happening a lot to one server, try playing from a different one.
-
that's what has always happened with items which are split through coinshare, it's just that for most of those items, they are bought regularly so the money created out of thin air makes no difference

"I can't attach the sigil to the shield, is there another way I can do it?"
There is an NPC in the game with a high Prayer and Smithing, he will be able to do this for you. For now, it is up to you to figure out who it is!
Void Knight maybe? the smith one. . .
wow good thinking, i'd never have thought of the void knights

Well there is no way in Hell that I would risk losing a defender again, but I suppose that this could be good for all the lucky people that get 1 every thousand tokens or so.
honestly.

i get one every fifteen minutes, it's not bad at all.

the antialiasing on the first one is a bit off... i can see sharp pixels on those circles

this is an issue with you, not runescape. your internet is either bad, or you're trying to connect to a server which you have a bad connection with.

i'm pretty sure that granite was *meant* to be used in a quest, and people started taking advantage of it for powermining.
-
I was just stating that there's no need to make a thread about it because (hopefully) people are smart enough not to fall for it.
people are all too willing to give out financial information in real life when they think they can get a shiny prize

ice barrage gives the caster a certain degree of control. they can engage their enemy and the enemy can not flee, yet they can flee if things go wrong. this is comforting as most people believe they have the sense to get out before getting into deep trouble.

It's obviously because names like that are so cool.
yeah... 1 4M M4H47M4H is really cool... i don't know if that's a username or the activation key for my halo cd

perhaps it's an endless cycle of idolization

It's a 2d screen
Point is? Plus RuneScape (not classic) is 3D.
It's a 2d screen
he's talking about atmosphere as in the experience, not as in a thin layer of gases surrounding a planet

okay let me clear up my earlier post
a bug is a software flaw, let's all just accept it as true that it is generally recognized that a bug is a means to doing something which is otherwise not doable, or takes longer to do, etc.
the use of a bug is inherently abuse because you're using it to do something which not supposed to be doable
so if jagex says you may not abuse bugs, this covers all bugs
the question is, where do we draw the line at what is harmless and does not warrant any action taken to correct the bug and punish the people who have used it, versus what is harmful and can be exploited for more than 'harmless fun'
for instance... this grand exchange bug. i don't know what restrictions still exist, but if this bug were to allow people to bank at the grand exchange while they still had a familiar out, then it gives unfair advantage. basically no bug is completely harmless, you can come up with some situation where a 'harmless bug' could be exploited, if only for a split second, and someone would complain
-
okay so,
you're on a continuously sinking ship, casting a spell to make more water
perhaps it's just because i've been watching the deadliest catch, but this seems to be not helpful to your teammates
edit: elaboration
the person training their magic is not helping the people do the work, yet is receiving an equal share of the reward. i'm pretty sure if this were to happen to you in real life you'd be pretty upset.

2.1 - English is the only language used on Tip.It Forums
what do you mean by runescape toolbar?
-
well, if you're not supposed to be able to do something, and then are using the bug the do it, you are abusing this vulnerability in their coding to do something you are not supposed to be doing
the question you're all debating is, whether you should get in trouble for harmless bugs

Great job so far. Haven't had really any problems with load times. YSlow has only said 2-3s average, which is normal for me..
It seems as though as half the sites I visit regularly have been under DDoS in the past month lol....Maybe I'm a bad omen, because even the wow server i play on has gone down more than usual.
Oh well, in any case, great job, hope the people stop soon. Eventually they'll figure out they don't have the upper hand in this battle and move on. If only creating a botnet wasn't so easy these days, we wouldn't have to worry. Maybe the war on terror should turn to a war on gullible people who think they have 3,000 viruses and need to buy Windows Antivirus 2008? Save a lot of these things from happening
non sequitur?
people buying antivirus software can only help, unless they are downloading fake antivirus software or something

Jagex considers 7.5/10 black marks to be "small"?
I guess math isn't their strong point. :?
Hmm... After re-reading the original post, do you think black marks received prior to the black mark degradation system will be "degraded" should the player not break the rules any further?
my friend has over eleven black marks, so i guess you can't really consider 10 to be the maximum. they simply don't want everyone who thinks their shot of being a player mod is shot until their black marks are cleared to post on that thread. they are targetting unfairly banned people who were the victims of their flawed system, etc.

there is no maximum amount of players allowed into a castle wars game (well, about a thousand on each team ;-D)
if there are an excess of newbs then both teams should receive approximately the same number, and they should cancel eachother out

wow that'd be anticlimactic... go through a mystical portal and pop out a wooden trap door
