the only reason i'm saying the prices are dropping is because people are spending all their money on construction for now. Like Nick said, once the high levels get to 99 and stuff, they'll go back to making money and more money will circulate so prices will rise because there will be more money in the economy and in my point of view, i didn't think prices would rise back up that much. i was on the side that they might stay down. I said they would go back up so I wouldn't get people all mad b/c they completely disagree and think the economy will rise again. I made my point so that it showed both sides in a way.

Oh. That makes more sense. I know I couldn't get the crest at like level 10, but I have one now at level 20, so there must be a Con level requirement, but i think it's 15 or 16. The crafting thing seems to make more sense though. But keeping to the topic at the same time -- does anyone have a banner easel I can use???

well considering i have 20 construction and I already have the heraldic helmet and kite.. u have to be 15 i think to get your crest.. and then u have to be 16 or so to make the helmet easel.. but that doesn't mean u can't use other peoples b/c i used someone else's to make my kite and i'm not high enough level to make one according to the construction guide.

I already know a ton of people have made posts about the prices dropping and all, but I thought I would start a new one that's a little different. Most people are saying that prices are dropping, but in a couple days or weeks they'll go back up, but the way I see it, this might not happen this time. I think Jagex knew what they were doing when they made this skill. They made things REALLY expensive as you progress. I'm only level 20 and i've spent at least 60k, so getting up to level 70+ has to cost millions most likely. So the way I see it, this skill along with the houses was a way to drop the economy. It's a way to get rid of all the extra money floating around. The money being spent on houses isn't being recycled into the economy again. I'm not saying prices won't go back up, but I'm thinking that they're going to drop drastically before they start to rise again. So construction is like a way to level out the econoy. Just my thought on the whole price change thing.

If someone is online right now that would be nice enough to let me use their Banner Easel? If so respond to this por favor. It would be greatly appreciated. thanks

it's called FUN.. it's the main point of the whole game

just get a saw, stock up on nails of any kind.. and get lots and lots of wood. i'm only at level 14 and it cost me about 30k in buying the house and turning the wood into planks and buying cloth. i would just say about 500 nails, maybe 200 or more planks and 20-30 cloths could get u to level 20 in almost no time.. but seeing as I haven't gotten past that, i wouldn't know what to do next. lol all i know is i'm going to be stocking up on planks and nails for a while

v. 4.0 kicks major butt i would kill to have this feature in the game

i've had this idea for a while it's nice to see someone think it out and make pictures and put it all together well though out.. i support it would be quite cool to make a profile

i reported the guy cause he kept saying the "N" word. Now, i'm not black, but I think its offensive when someone uses it repeatedly as an insult to people. When it is used purposely to offend people, that's going too far. Thanks NukeMarine, for the individual info But if you notice, I already stated several times in the guide that your odds of controlling all 25 people are low. This would be in the event that you and some friends get together in a few games, or in case they ever make a way in which you can split into teams and choose team mates and such. I will update the guide later.. I'm still rather busy with schoolwork at the moment.

I tried to take into account the amount of players. If you had the entire team participating, it would work amazingly. But seeing as the odds of getting all 25 people to follow your orders are low... The main part that would work is the ancients. You and about 5-10 other people could own the whole game :D but if you found a deserted world... and u had 24 friends to play with u... then it would be wonderful :lol:

not to be mean in any way at all... but that is just... like.... i don't even know.. that would be the most pointless thing ever. Why would they make a black phat that sold for 1k when all the others are way over like 50mil?!?!

PRE-GUIDE The one thing I noticed (but didn't feel like making a new post just to say) is that this game would be a lot more organized if on the screen you had a display somewhere showing which portals were left and which ones had been destroyed. Also something to show what percentage of healt the void knight has left would be nice. And with this (but not as needed) could be some sort of way to show where the walls had been broken. But the third of these ideas would be used much less than the first two. Now for my guide VOID KNIGHT GUIDE Now, from playing several games today, right after its release, I've come up with a few strategies (if you can organize an entire team of random people) that would make it far easier to win. To begin with, the most important rule is always close the gates. You don't want your defenders swamped down with twenty or thirty monsters to fight. So the first thing to do is split your forces. You'll want most of the low levels defending the knight because they most likely can't hit the portal unless their magic or ranged is exceptionally high. So I would say anyone below level 60 should stay near the knight. Secondly, you'll want a couple rangers and/or mages in the towers to protect all the gates. These rangers and mages should be very high level. Thirdly, you'll want to organize your attack groups. Two attack groups works best. I've heard some people say attacking the two northern portals and using a vicegrip attack on the bottom two works best, but you can take out the bottom two first if you don't want to build up a ton of monsters at the front gate. Depending on which of those attack methods you choose, you will want to follow one of two defense categories. First, each of the attack groups should have several 100+ fighters that will do most of the pounding away at the portals. Then you'll want your lower levels, 70-80 is best, taking out most of the monsters and watching for spinners. This is where the strategy can change a bit. This is also where ancients plays a HUGE role in winning easily. If you have 2-4 ancient users on your team, you'll have a huge advantage. If you decided to destroy the two northern portals first, have at least one ancients user stationed just outside the front gate, blasting away with ancients and keeping it from backing up. You'll then want to try and put one ancient caster with each attack group. But if you don't have enough, it should still work. You should only need one ancients user with each party, as two would be a little overkill. If you have a second caster, have them defend either right by the void knight, or running back and forth between the remaining gates, checking for backups. Now, if you go with the southern two portals first, you won't have as much of a backup on monsters to deal with, but you'll need more casters. With the above method, one ancients caster dealing with the front gate is all that is needed. With this one, you'll need two for both side gates. But once again, both methods will work. If you can somehow work out a way to get all of the people on your team to follow a strategy similar to this (or just a few of your friends that can cast ancients) then you should be able to complete several rounds of this very quickly. TIPS AND TRICKS -Distract monsters to your advantage. Instead of spending your time killing a spinner instead of the portal, distract the spinner so its attacking you instead of healing the portal. -Leading spinners away from the portal and getting them stuck behind you also works. -Although there are several rumors already, to my knowledge, and to the knowledge of several other high level players, SPECIALS DO NOT SPAWN SPINNERS! And until Jagex or one of the mods posts something about this for sure, I am sticking with the idea that this idea was just a rumor. -If you time it right, just before you are teleported into the game, if you are walking, when the game starts your character will already be running to the southwest. This can give you a quick start before any of the monsters have started spawning. -Now, I can't tell you what to use your points on, but I have found it much more efficient to use them all on prayer. Seeing as prayer is one of the hardest skills to train. Being able to get 2000 prayer exp. in less than 20 minutes is quite an accomplishment for me. -If you are attacking portals, keep the Improved Reflex prayer on the whole time. It drains rather slowly and will allow you to hit much more often on the portals. And when you die, or end the game, your prayer is restored to full (just be sure to turn the prayer off after the game!) This is all the information I could fit into this guide from my knowledge, and several other players that have been playing the game all day. If you have any suggestions or corrections, please let me know. Thanks.
