  1. Well I don't usually waste time pulling pranks or other such nonsense, but one day I was especially bored, having wacked trees for more days straight then I cared to remember. So I walked over to the yews by cathebry, cut a load, walked over to the mages by the range guild, logged onto a different world so that it would appear I had just logged in from the last time I was cutting mages. Stood for a few minutes wacking mages, then stepped over and began burning yews in a pretty row (this would work with any log of course, but yews burn almost as long as mages, so it makes the prank more believable) and calmy continued to burn them....you should have seen the reactions..."OMG LOrd, why are you burning mages?"...hehe... :XD: "Oh I replied, they are decent firemaking exp per log"....OMG that is stupid, what a waste of money!!!!.....meh, it's only money I reply....quite comical actually, they all freak out and try hard to explain to me how foolish what I am doing is lmao.

    :XD:

LOL!!! That's great! I'm going to soo do that right now if my membership is still good!

My favorite used to be gather a bunch of monkeys, and bank them one by one. Then, release them all at the waiting room at CW...too bad though that you can't bring noncombat items there anymore :( Now...I still release monkeys time to time at the dueling arena ;-) But...they may just be replaced by the penguins since all of them could be picked up one at a time, and the monkeys can only be picked up with ONE in your inventory.

Another fun thing to do is go around boxing in a chef outfit at the wildy. It's hilarious if you're fighting somebody combat 70 and beating them with your bare fists!

  2. Posted this in the other topic.

Meanwhile, back in the caves, a blotched lord's inns eat exotic food and all that jazz. - Canifis update? Most likely a quest.

In the basement of the tower of life you'll find the homunculus; he's crossing a lobster with a jubbly! A spider with a sardine! A newt with a rooster! - Necromancy, or summoning. Something similar anyway.

    Teal Chameleons - Hunting update?

You're probably right about the exotic food part at the inn. Since, Canifis has been around for what two years, and we still haven't been invited to the Feast of Zamorak.

As for the part about the homunculus it most definitely will be Necromancy related. Since according to "Full Metal Alchemist," a homonculus is made whenever a person tries to raise a person back from the dead. As well it's supported that way in some mythology too. So people please don't diss those that watch FMA lol. The stuff is in mythology, and well there are some similarities anyway in terms of a transumation circle. Mythologically some cultures believe that a homonculus is part demon...so things should be interesting.

  3. ^ prayer won't help them there.

I'd disagree there...Prayer helps out a lot at the rune rocks when mining rune, but only on the f2p worlds...I wouldn't dare mine rune on a p2p world and rely on prayer, or anything outside of packing a few ice barrages to get back at the mages from the team before I make my retreat :P

  4. Anybody thought about the possibility of more cannonball types? If I recall correcly the month that Barrows came out referred about that area being battle scarred from the 3rd age. As well, the description from it sounded to me like cannons firing off...to me I don't see a steel cannonball doing that kind of damage.

  5. Dark beasts are a good possibility for a few item drops. Anyway, as for the 3rd age Items I too was thinking of 2 things. One of course being more dragon weapons since Zamorak used soldiers from Feneskrae, but I'm also curious about ACTUAL weapons from the gods. I mean, the only current weapon from the gods is the Armadyl staff that can't even be wielded. I think that such things would throw out some interesting results. Personally I'm a bit curious, and just hope this stuff comes out after my finals are over...they seem to tempting to my grades otherwise LOL...and college isn't cheap <.<

Anyway, as for the animal magnetism part, I just figured that would be a joke line along the sort that the person has animals attracted to her in a way that they keep getting stuck to her.

  6. I would be against having cannons, but then I'd probably have to contact Jagex and see if they'll still reset your quests and stats on RS accounts. Anyway, I don't regret spending 20M in cb to get my ranging from 74-98 or so. The xp in terms of cost isn't that great. In fact the old lvl 80 charg spell strategy for mage was worse. I recall many people using that to get from 80ish mage to 99 in under 5 hours np. Personally, I look forward to seeing rune cb being released someday. It'll be interesting to see how much people will pay just for that bit of extra xp, and bit of an advantage on new items from monsters.

  7. Firemaking would be the next best xp getter on f2p. The xp I'd say would be easier now than it was in classic, and there were people able to go from 1-99 firemaking on classic in two weeks. I think the equation back then was 2X + 20 where X = firemaking level. So, if you just stick to burning willows you'll be getting 99 in no time. I'd go ahead and get 99 firemaking myself, but I'm more interested in wrapping up 99 mage and 99 HP.

My opinion, i think Firemaking, you just need alot of money! Why? Because cutting down say 200k willows is going to take some time, while burning them. (Only saying Willows as they easiest to cut!) Where cutting Yews would be MUCH harder. Its not a money making skill, but my goal is 99 firemaking. :P

P.S: Who agree's that the new capes of achievement should be F2P and P2P?

I'm P2P but think of all those F2P 99'ers who have been waiting for this, and then its only P2P!

Well I'd have to disagree with this. Most p2p people are pretty much the only ones with 99 capes. In fact I'd be suprised if even 1% of the people on RS have a 99 skill and haven't been a member at sometime. Anyway, in order for f2pers to have the 99 capes then to say the least the 99 strength, and 99 attack cape locations would have to be moved. Which, would make less logic due to not being at the warrior's guild where they should stay at. Now the defence cape I don't think should be sold at Lumby, but instead should be sold at a wee little city located inside a certain volcano. After all what would be a better place for a defence place than a place that makes shields and capes out of obsidian?

  8. you all are wrong, it was 4 in a row, how do i know, cus i was one of the range stakers back when rs2 came out (well actually like 4 months after it came out..., but you get the point)

    ~Med~

Heh you don't know what you're talking about the 35% for a mage spec person was right. Now what you're thinking of for range staking is the rune thrown axes which to this day still have 4 specs, but they can't get a guaranteed hit like before.

Anyway, I will agree that melee is supposed to beat rangers, but at the same time a skilled meleer isn't going to have much of a problem at all beating a person with 99 def and 99 range. Personally, I won't let my HP get lower than 80 without eating a shark when I know I'm dealing with a person over cb 110 that's melee and has a dds. I just know that it wouldn't take too much luck for them to KO me...and well you can't ice barrage if you're busy eating sharks lol.

If you ask me the dds should be changed to 35% for a spec attack and keep the ranging spec as it is.

  9. Once 40, do Luner Diplomecy and craft astrel runes, fastet RC exp in game =D>

I'd probably disagree on that...I seem to recal that the dueling arena fire rune RCing strategy worked pretty well for me in the lower levels. As for the astral idea that requires a lunar teleport after each trip, and still a fair bit of running (even though you tele right by the bank.)

  10. In my opinion, getting one skill to lvl 99 is silly.

You need to do 2 at a time.

The quickest I would say would be Fly Fishing & Cooking

    Then Wood Cutting and Fletching.

Fly Fish in Shilo Village and Cook it in Catherby

Wood Cutting and Fletching in Seers.

    Hope this helps

cooking in rogue den is way faster....

Heh, I would just keep the tinderbox with me and cook the fish and bank them...sure the xp might not be as fast that way, but it'll keep you more interested in what's going on. Thus, you could play for a longer period of time to get more xp per day.

  11. Have you tried to check the weight of a dharok plate? I could of sworn that would weigh a bit more...Nothing else maybe you could get that defensive shield on in the defense training zone, then telegrab another barrel real quickly for some more weight *shrug*
