I am sure by now that most people know fletching isnt that great of a money maker unless you make your own bows, get your own bow strings, or craft you own nats. However, it is STILL faster than smithing. one log, one string, one nat per bow. Smithing anything that is worth alching (steel plates as an example) takes 5 steel bars which means 10 coal and 5 iron, so you have to mine all that, run to smelt the bars, and then find an anvil and make them, it all seems like too much work compared to fletching

try the hill giants under varrock. They are especially good if you want to make some $ or get prayer exp

If you have started Recipe for disaster and have the right slayer level (it's really low but I don't know exactly) and have at least started the lost tribe quest go to cave crawlers, super close to bank, low level and drop all kinds of herbs.

I fyou want to enjoy your time, play pest control and get the herb packs, to do this you have to be able to id ranarr, the packs give you about 5 ranarr each time, which means at least 25k plus the 4 you get from winning games
