No doubt about it, this is one of the best cricket series ever. It will either be remembered as the series that England won the Ashes back or one of the greatest recoveries by the Australians. Either way it's helped put cricket back onto the sporting radar which can only be good news.

According to the rankings Brazil comfortably, but after last weeks performance it should be Northen Ireland just for beating the Englsih.

The Titans will probably struggle this year and the Raiders didn't get off to a good start, but they did play the Patriots so that's to be expected. Although they won't win the Superbowl again this year they will go far. As I'm posting this the Panthers are 20-17 down against the Saints and the Eagles don't play until past midnight tomorrow. At least past midnight here in Wales. The good news is the Redskins have won against the Bears and are top of the Division, even if nobody else has played yet.

Some of these guys used to go to my school. If you can get a copy of Hendrix's Woodstock performance, probably the best set ever played, especially Star Spangled Banner. Just thinking about how so many people missed it because it ran late and they left makes me laugh.
