RuneScape Information

  1. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the sun, a time to play runescape and a time to refrain. Truly does runescape fiill a void? It depends on you. For many people I would say rs takes up to much of their time. Even for me I sometimes play to much. With a game like this it is easy to play to much. According to my diary I have averaged about 1 hour per day since i started playing back in 2001 most of this time was spent multitasking with something else, right now i am brushing my teeth. So that time is fine, however sometimes i binge which is bad. This is true of all things, moderation is the key. Balance you life with work, friendship, God, and relaxation, which area of your life is lacking?
  2. I have rather high overall stats and many friends that do dungoneering, as such I am starting to get into it a little but have some questions related to my skill lvls as to what would be my best approach. First question should I mage or melee? My melee stats are better but I have 99 farming and 96 crafting which let me make all the tier 10 mage stuff. With 73 mining I have a hard time getting good ore for melee armor. Which stats should I raise before dungoneering? Runecrafting to 77?(I really hate rc) Almost have 90 magic so thats a no brainer but should i go higher? Am i close to a important smithing lvl? Also should I bind tier 8 platebody or tier 10 mage body for my second bind? I have a tier 10 maul bound in first slot. Is it fine to wear mage armor while meleeing? Any penalties I should know about? Despite my dungoneering lvl of 53 i have almost no exp with the skill I got 49 of the lvls off tears of guthix, so I am an ubber noob in the area, but I have read the various guides around the site. So my big questions are 1. Magic or Melee 2. What should I bind that I can make and what should I bind that is ideal for my stats if i get a lucky drop. 3. What skills should I raise before doing serious dungoneering?
  3. pures are past their prime, but still usefull. The concept is to take advantage of the level system. Pures have trained much longer than others of their level. Back when I started their were no stats needed for items, and magic/range added to combat level dispite the fact that these were rarely used in combat. Now such things dont inflate your level so pures are much less effective, but well built they are still superior.
