Lol :XD: I like the larger chat screen thats an adventage for sure. Still, when your talking to people it has those tight and straight lines. I think thats a shame. I liked the () thingys better than the ( ) thingys though... And that: is a very good idea!

Clan Chat The name sais it. Theres a new update in RuneScape and this time they've released the Clan Chat. Heres the deal: "Now, both Members and Free Players have their very own channel for chatting to friends and talking as a group, all accessed from some new and clearer interfaces. Like private chat, Clan Chat works whether you and your friends are on the same game world or all spread across many different worlds. The new Clan Chat interface can be accessed by clicking on the two smiley faces at the bottom-left of your in-game controls. You may well notice, in addition to the Clan Chat, that the interfaces have had a tidy up. The dwarves of Keldagrim have produced a fine new tablet in place of the chat scroll, there are more chat filters at the bottom of the screen, and the general controls have been improved, making your day-to-day RuneScaping that much smoother and easier to look at." B4: After: --- But do you think its really that good? Its obvious, I'll give you that. It was a bit confusing at first for me but after I gave it a better look it could be really usefull. You can push the button 'All', that was there before but in a different name, 'Public Chat', now its next to the button 'Game' what was actually also in the Public chat section but you would have to click it a few times to have set the Public chat to Game. Its the 'all' chat, where you can see what you have done like "You successfully cook a swordfish". You can see trades and see what people have to say. So there are 2 buttons now instead of one. Quite usefull right? Then there still is the Public button and Private. Which is quite the same. Then the new one "Clan", first before you can use it u must enter the new button next to the friends list on your right of the chat mode, the 'Clan Chat'. You can make a 'room' there which will be your own chat place. Than you can enter the 'Clan' again. It will say: Attempting to join channel... If u made a room yourself it will say; Now talking in clan channel (lets say...) RuneScapeTo talk, start each line of chat with the / symbol Now you can chat in your self made room! Yay you. Just to give you a better understanding about all of the buttons theres a list below. Buttons: All: Selecting the All filter will display all types of chat together in one place with your filter settings applied (e.g. if you have Public, Clan and Trade turned on, you will see all of these, but if you have Private turned off, you will not see that). Game: Selecting the Game filter will show only information from the game itself and not any chat sent to you by other players, regardless of your other filter settings. Public: Left-clicking this will display only public chat in the chat box. You will not see any clan chat, for instance. Right-clicking this controls how much chat from other players you see on your screen. You can turn it to On, Friends, Off or Hide. If you set it to On, your chat interface will display all the text everyone types when they are chatting to you or other players. When set to Friends, the chat interface will display the chat lines for you and all your friends only. When set to Hide, if a player types some text, it is displayed above their head in the game window - nothing is displayed in the chat window. Setting it to Off disables public chat. Private: Left-clicking this will display only private messages in the chat box. Right-clicking this sets how players can contact you with private messages. If set to On, anyone can contact you whether they are on your friends list or not. If set to Friends, only people on your friends list will be able to send you messages. Off means you will not receive any private messages. This button also controls how other players will see your online status. Anyone that can send you a message will be able to see whether you are online or offline. Note: Jagex staff moderators will always be able to send you messages regardless of your message settings. They can be recognised by the gold crown at the start of their messages. Clan: Left-clicking this button will cause the chat window to display only messages from any clan chat channel you are connected to. Right-clicking it will allow you to control whether you will see chat from any clan channel you are on. You can also use it to control whose chat you will see. The options are On, Friends and Off. Trade: You can left-click on this option to make the chat box only show trade requests, challenges, etc. You can also right-click to control whether players can send you trade requests or challenge you. The options are On, Friends and Off. Report Abuse Button: The Report Abuse button is your means of reporting any player in RuneScape that is being abusive towards another player or is breaking one of our rules. When you spot such behaviour or language, click on the Report Abuse button, correctly type in the offending player's name and then select one of the rules they have broken. ---- The interface has made an enormous makeover. The buttons have been changed. The chat section is bigger. The menu to your right has been changed and the 'Congratualations you've just advanced a '...' level' has also been changed. And of course if that has been changed the style as it is used with will affect anything, like the NPC's you talk with, its not the same anymore. Like it was before the update: After the update: Personally, I like the old interface better. The new one is more ... formal in a ... more worse way. It's so different all of the sudden. It could be usefull and fun to chat with your friends all in one channel but to have changed the interface..? I really need to get use to it though... but there are a lot of good updates about it. What do you think? Do you like it better this way or do you prefer the old way? ------- So far, almost everybody likes the new update as it is. Especcially the new interface, a lot of people like the chat option but the interface is really something we will have to get used to. The things that have made Clan Chat + the new update better: :thumbsup: 1) Interface is cleaner and tidier/streamlined 2) Less clicking (Saves time) 3) Bigger chatbox 4) More talking to friends 5) Usefull for people in clans and for trading 6) Good (Clan Chat) for special events/(mini)games 7) To just type '/' will make the private chats faster 8) More functions Some ideas what the Clan Chat could have made better: :shame: 1) We should be able to register chats. 2) We should be able to join more than 2 chat channels at the same time. 3) Many people dont like the new 'improved' interface, RS had a unique signature and that was one of them

Updated post 1 again. Im going on vacation as from today and I will be back here on 3/4 August (probably). My membership will also end in 4 days. After I get back I'll first raise some F2P stats and after that I'm going back to members again ^^. Things I wanna get/do first: -get 70 attack -the raw swordies and raw tuna I bought still need to be cooked -high alch something close to 500 steel platebodes to get 60 magic (need some more so I'm still buying steel plates for 1k each!)

Worked on fletching yesterday and I completed a 1k yew orders from the woodcutting shop I'm working at. And thats what I'm gonna do today. Boring uh : I'm also working at the Cosmic Fletching shop now btw. Only a low lvl, but good enough to take the low-lvl orders like steel arrows. I have enough fletching stuff (logs ect.) to raise my fletching lvl to 50 or above that. Updated post 1 again.

This is beginning to look like a diary no one is posting. Got any idea's? Suggestions? Wanna help? Post! Stats (June 22): -Got fletching up from 15 to 40 today. ^^ -Raised Farming only at 3 lvls, booring.. -Herblore: from 9 to 10. -Also did a couple of quests, look at front page for the ones I did and for those I'm working on. Reason I didn't raise to much skills raising today..? Treasure Trails :thumbsup: I think I'll start with Slaying and Hunting tomorrow (well, today for me now), maybe Farming >.>. Still need to get construction up, and I need 4 lvls up on Thieving. Post people! (P.S. got a dragon wc axe now and a Abyssal Whip ^^, now I need to go and earn my money back o.O, bought a cosmic and chaos tally, so I'm gonna start runecrafting soon)

Todays lvls up: And I made a pic of the Holy Grail (Quest) that I finished today ^^ Other quests I today did are: the Elemental Workshop, Gertrude's Cat (I got my own kitten lol) and I've finished Merlin's Crystal.

I've got my membership ^^ and I've start raising my skills, exploring and completing quest instantly. So much to do O.o I've set some new goals for some time. All the member skills im gonna raise atleast +20 Construction: 6 / 50 Agility: 20 / 45 Fletching: 1 / 50 Hunter: 1 / 20 Slayer: 1 / 20 Farming: 1 / 20 Thieving: 11 / 30 (I did a quest and I raised 11 lvls #-o ) Herblore: 1 / 20 I will go on tomorrow, but first I'm gonna have some sleep, goodnight. ^.^

Wooo! I just got my 90 woodcutting! HAPPY :lol: I subscribed my membership yesterday but I still dont have it :? :cry: :evil: Anyways, I will start at construction, build my own house ^^ Hopefully I'll start at my membership TODAY!

Hiya, I forgot to say I was away for like 4 days but I'm back again :wink: I'm still woodcutting atm, I'm at 5123180 exp now, I only need to cut 1276 yew logs for my 90 wc so I took an order of the woodcutting shop I'm working at. If I have completed that one I will have reached my goal of 90wc. In a few days I will become a member, I'll start the skill raising at construction and I have already got some supplies for that like all kind of logs and stuff ^^ Maybe I'll become a member first instead of reaching my 90 wc in F2P, if I could cut magics, my exp will raise way faster. If I know I will be online at RS most of the day I'll become a memb, that should/could be in like 2/3 days..? I'm still buying steel plates to high alch them, for 950each, so if u have some u know where to sell them :wink:

I have made some perm orders on the KSA food shop and in Cosmics (400 swordies and 600 tuna), to get my cooking up to 80 ^^ (maybe, since it's kinda fast training this way, I'll set my goals to 85/90, maybe, just maybe ^^) I'm still working on my last lvl of woodcutting \ I ony need to cut 2.234 yew trees or 5.790 willows now. I think I'm just gonna cut yews till I have 2k of them in my bank (I think I have ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâñ700 atm =s) and then I'm gonna cut willows till lvl 90 =P~ Lara :
