    I personally can't stand "runecoins".

     

    Jagex needs to realize that not all of us can afford to pay 100s of real life dollars. Those of us who have limited money can't buy even half of these overrides.

     

    Which does bother me. Yes, I like to wear my dragon armor 24/7, but I'd like to at least try the other overrides for sale.

     

    I can tolerate solomons, what I can't stand is squal of fortune/treasure hunter promotions pressuring you to buy keys with limited time promotional items. And those cosmetic items aren't even overrides... unless you buy dragon keys of course...

     

     

     

    Its funny I wasn't overly bothered by any of it when I was playing on my main, free bxp here and there made the grind easier to max cape, and solomons has always done what it should do for microtransactions. My issues arose when I started playing Ironman and I wanted to the bxp outfits and some of the other things that I feel you should be able to get from minigames that you can't. They have released alot of good content that could have revitalized dead portions of the game through treasure hunter.

  2. With the top page filling up and Dreyri having maxed on ironman, has anyone looked at how long/the most efficient ways for an ironman to get 200 mill all. Or even the methods that were used to get to max on an ironman in the first place?

  3. With the changes coming to Chrome I decided to switch over to the client. However every time I reopen it, it has returned to the original size and messes up my UI. Does anyone know how to make it stay the same size from session to session? A friend of mine uses the client exclusively and his doesn't resize every time he opens it.

     

     

  4. I get it, you guys don't like the fact that I dislike degradable items, but I have my reasons for not liking them and I'm sticking to them. There is no need to prove further how wrong I am.

     

    And for the record I'm not wrong, I used to have a verac's helm, and got rid of it after realizing how pointless it is to keep an item I have to pay to fix every few hours.

     

    Most monsters I fight are simple to kill anyway.

    You've continually been given evidence as to why degradable items are more then worth it and the fact that you don't have to repair them that often. You've also been told the best no degradable items and blew people off to the point that it was given to you for free.

     

    I truly don't understand why the fine people continue to patronize you.

  5. First, anyone else notice that that doesn't add up to 100%?

     

    Second fine tune stats its alright in theory, but the majority of people don't want to have to do the math or theory craft to determine the optimal setup, and argue as much as you want no matter how much options they give you, someone will run a sim that will tell you the best choices.

  6. As I am unfamiliar with other MMO's, what kind of endgame do other games have?

    WoW put in a way to buy almost max level boosts but it works better for them because the game is more about the last levels and maxed content then the journey there.

     

    It would absolutely kill runescape to have that level of buyables

  7. I like the idea overall. For everyone that is all fussed about it, give it 3 minutes to get back tax free and if you don't its with death. That gives people a chance to save it if they have everything unlocked from quests/minigames/etc. Much longer then that and its too easy. The game needs item and cash sinks if people want them or not.

Well considering my time to 200m is like 9800 hours, and i already have 1.2b, and a year is 8760 hours total, i dont think anyone will because they would have to play like 150% efficient and not sleep for an entire year.... and that time calc doesnt even take into consideration pre maxing and gp.

     

    I understand your question was somewhat rhetorical, but theres the answer, it isnt going to happen anytime soon

     

    You would need to average 600k xp/hr, I know there are lots of faster skills but I can't fathom that overall you can hit that mark.

  9. I don't disagree that handouts can ruin the experience my issue is nerfing everything into oblivion for iron man accounts. Why they couldn't just settle for half the rewards but instead have to remove the top two tiers and then halve and then some all the rewards seems a little extreme.

  10. 13 ranarr seeds isn't a huge amount in the ironman world?

    Given the variety of rewardand how often you might get those 13 seeds I don't think it's that much. If you could get to elf city think of the seeds you get from thieving or should that be nerfed for Ironman as well? What I was trying to get at that if it had been up to the players it wouldn't have been as restricted as it is. It would have been no trading and no treasure hunter.

  11. I don't understand how diy went from just doing things yourself to this entirely exclusive formy of game play. I bought the pack and the aura was neat but I didn't think it was too over powered. My im has ~1400 total level and in the hour I used it pretty nerf I got 13 emeralds 54k gold and 8 planks.

     

    Anyone that thinks 78 planks once a day is over powered is nuts. That would be the absolute maximum you could get. It takes hundred of thousands of items for most skills.

     

    Im should have been exactly as it was unofficially with reduced xp from minigames. Why should all rewards be turned off. They have implemented all sorts of methods to prevent boosting would it really have been that bad that you get 15 herbs from pest control?

     

    Given the amount of dead content in the game why exclude one of the biggest groups of new players.

     

    Over all I'm still alright with the loyalty pack because of the access to auras but I'm disappointed in retroactive changes.
