When you say that there is no return on the magic or prayer skillcapes I had to think for a moment, only to realize that you were talking about money to be made from training the skill, and only that. What about the access to a multitude of spells to make your rs life a lot more efficient and fun, or wat about the ability to fight high level monsters for longer periods of time, due to lengthened prayer time. If put to use properly training these skills to 99 skills have economic value as well as sweet looking capes. I do not have any 99 skills, I just dont have the patience for it, and as such I look on in envy of anyone with any skillcape for their commitment. Think harder. How is it worth another 50m to get from 92 to 99 prayer (1/2 way to 99), When the best prayer available is Piety at lvl 70. And prayer pots are so easily available from a much cheaper cost. Imagine the amount of prayer pots you could buy with 50 mil. It doesn't even seem worth the money to get prayer past 70 by much. So yea. Hatebringer has it right. There is next NO return for prayer. On topic. What's if a player feels like getting 99 cooking but doesn't want it for the cape? Just for a relatively cheap, easy, and fast 99? Nothing nooby about that... If one feels like wearing a cape they have rightfully earned, why not?

There is the new runecrafting clothing set which includes a hat so that might be a reason to use the staff instead of the tiara. No bonus to the hat. Either in actual RCing or minigame. But yea... that would be... conceivablely a reason.

Anything special to staves over tiaras? Tiaras seem more efficient, in that you only have to give up a helm spot vs. a weapon spot. and the combat stats for the staves are that amazing... Also, will wearing RC gloves from FoG 4x your exp.?

Yep, yep. Made my first million merchanting, long time ago, when it was still a real skill (sorta) Buying rune items for cheap on w1. Selling it for a few k profit on the other worlds. I remember axes were 10k (?) and you could sell em for 15k. Armor pieces were also super cheap. Then buying Addy TT items in pieces and then selling it as a set. Probably 50-75k per set profit. Of course, the GE has made it all so much easier. Went from 2+ mill in cash to probably 15mil in a month and a half, maybe 2. Also sold a bunch of armor on my pure to get from 200k to 12mill. Money making is much too easy these days.

Ok... not true right? Basically I was on my range pure at IceCaves and this level 95 has his 2h out hitting 22s and basically boasting about it. I asked his str lvl which his reply was 76, and so I said "Oh, pot/pray?" He says no. I told him that was BS and that 76 doesn't hit natural 22s in f2p. Long story short, He basically calls me a noob and says its b/c he's got 80 attack... He brings 2 friends a 104 and a 95 to tell me that higher attack does ... make you hit higher... Really... Am I so clueless? Since when? Or was he just being pathetic and refusing to admit that he was praying...?

Uh... Do Longbows even hit any higher? They're utterly useless aren't they. In fact, their range attack bonus is the exact same as their shortbow counterpart... so... duh. Faster/equal damage is better. Shortbow ftw.

Meh... Well. what did you expect? f2pers would have gotten like 5k limit tops... but they didn't... Would you have been happier? It's not like 39 QP is easy to get... It still takes a while. Relatively... for any RWT'er. So, I guess f2pers should have at least been partially merited...

To whoever said there might be more f2p quests... There's not going to be more f2p quests... Considering they specifically stated that the 30k limit would apply to p2p servers. So... you couldn't even hypothetically get members for the QP and quit... woot! these updates rock my face. -.-

Should I just crank up on the def on my pures... now that low combat level is pretty much useless for Bounty Hunter? Some sort of rune pure or something? or... wait 5 months and see what Jagex has planned for new minigames?
