When I first started barrowing I got my first item on my second or third run and it was Torags Platebody :)

To be blunt you need range, most of the caves is fought with range. You can read up on the monsters attacks etc on the tip.it main site under mini games on the tzaar section.

You take it to the crystal bowl in the cave at the quest start and turn it into a crystal saw.

A lot of people usually go with iron since its the fastest rock to mine an if you keep the ore then it could help your smithin lvl out a bit too.

If successful it stops your opponent from using prayer for a few seconds.

Blue hides are 2k each an dragon bones are 2.5k each.

Get some swamp tar from lumbridge swamp then take it to the chemist a little west of rimmington and think there is an oil distillier INSIDE the chemist and just use the tar on that.

desert mining camp - re-entry? RESOLVED, TY

I had this exact problem before but i figured it out. The way to get the key again to get back into the mining camp is that you have to speak to the captain and get the dialogue up of when you can say to him, "I guess you can't fight your own battles", he then chalenges you to a 1 on 1 duel and when you kill him he drops the key. -
Can anyone who has already got the fire cape recommend to me what they think is the best guide to follow to complete the fight caves? I think I have all the right stats for it and the right equipment already, so any advice on this matter?

Not really since their fire breath is long range so your gonna get hit where ever you are, its usually best mage or melee them with prayer pots and anti firebreath pots or shield.
