It seems Jagex made exits for all of the runes in the abyss although not all of them can be used at the moment. They might be there for future use when blood crafting, soul crafting etc is brought out for players.

There's 3 rooms when you go through the entrance to the waterfall. As you enter go to the room furthest to the left and there are better safe spots there. Although it's usually crowded the safe spots there are better because the chance of you being hit by the fire giants is much lower.

You can be pked in the outer ring of the abyss, can't you? Nope, but you can be attacked by the abyssal monsters. Although there are a lot of them you can usually find a way into the inner ring before they can do much to you.

Thanks for the tips, I'll give those a try now. BTW my hunter level is 63. EDIT: Is it worth smoking the traps?

My main problem with them is that everytime I set up my 3rd or 4th trap my first 2 have already been set off without catching anything making me get behind on setting up more traps and catching more chinchompas. I appreciate some tips on how to catch these more easily and effectively and most importantly quickly. Thanks

I think training combat hand in hand with slayer is a good idea too. You're getting more than just your combat up while training it. It also takes away the boredom of having to kill the same monster over and over again for the xp.

You could become a member but I might advise you to get your stats up to 50+ first so you can do more things if you did become one.

Should be at the same price as the bow.

Any members item on a F2P server will just be called "members item" and won't have any other options as far as I know.

I'd recommend getting prayer upto around 60.

I think there may be some rocks to range behind in both areas. But i think they only work if you start attacking them at the right angle. Hope that helps.

I have 232 quest points with the Quest Point Cape.

Next fastest way would be to tele to the ectofunctus with the ectophial then run to Canifis from there. I don't think there are any faster methods than that without having ancient's.

Fastest way is to use the Kharryl teleport from the Ancient Magics spell book but is more efficient to use if you enchant a portal in your house with that teleport. That way you don't have to keep using blood runes and you also don't have to keep the Ancient's spell book on.

Don't know if anyone else did this but i trained on green lizards in the swamp near Canifis. Is pretty fast xp as long as you can get a hold of a couple of good spots. After that I went onto orange salamanders. Merry Christmas
