  1. This might be good but I think the rats need to be caught in Varrock in order to complete the medium task for the Varrock diary.
  2. This might be a little advanced but it could still help: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=549364
  3. Double nature runecrafting at 91 runecraft is the most profitable skill earning around 900k-1mil per hour. As for making over 100k an hour without skills or merchanting things such as picking secondary potion ingredients for herblorists' (white berries, snape grass etc) can make a fair amount of money.
  4. I know it's annoying sometimes that you have to pay to lvl skills but that's just the way it is. You can't expect every skill in the game to make money for you. If they did then you'd be seeing a lot more people with 99 construction, crafting, agility etc. If you can't afford to pay for the lvls you want, do it the old fashioned way or make money from another skill to pay for it. Also as other people have said, if there are people willing to pay a price for the lvls they want whether they'd be losing out or not they will pay it and not much is going to change that.
  5. Once you have caught 100 rats I think a message comes up telling you that and to get the cat training medal from Gertrude. I'm pretty sure this is correct but someone please correct me if I'm wrong :-k
  6. Have you made sure that the villagers you have been asking are ones who have trading sticks in their hands? I also understand that you can't ask the same villager twice, would this be a problem?
  7. I believe legend capes give +7 to all defence bonuses while obby and skill capes give +9.
  8. Although it's entirely upto you, if I were you I would keep doing them. You'd be kicking yourself if you knew that one clue you left out was the one that could have given you that 3rd age piece.
  9. I think the best way to do this puzzle would be in sections. First off all in the hanger area where the gnome gliders are there are some crates there that show what the completed puzzle should look like. Grab one of these and take a look at it so you know where each part of the puzzle goes. Then in completely different sections move the puzzle pieces around to the correct place e.g. start with the top row going from left to right even if some other pieces are already in the correct position. You can follow this strategy for all of the rows and should make it a lot easier for you. Hope I helped.
  10. You can still make guam tar cheap (free). I believe there are numerous swam tar spawns in Lumbridge swamp and it's not too far from Draynor bank. So all you'd have to do is run from Draynor bank to tar spawns in the swamp, pick up the tar until you have the desired amount.

I'd say it's still good xp per hour, I managed to get atleast 80-90k an hour there.
  12. You can either use it on your workbench/whetstone in your house or take it to Tindel in Port Khazard who will sharpen it for 100gp but, will buy it from you if it's adamant or above. Most of the time it will be below adamant.
  13. For thieving you could either thieve master farmers or guards as they're decent xp and you get seeds with the master farmer. Once you get to a good level 60+ maybe, you could try out pyramid plunder if you still wanted to raise your thieving level futher. As for the master farmers they can be found in Draynor market or near the ardougne farming patch. As for guards they can be found all over the place but I'd advise the ones in ardougne as you could theive from the bakery stall to heal hp. For agility you should train it up to lvl 40 at the gnome stronghold agility course till 40. When you've reached 40 you could try out the barbarian agility course or even the brimhaven agility course for variation. If you then still wanted to train agility at 52 then the wilderness course would fastest and then at 70+ the ape atoll course would be fastest. Food would be needed at the higher lvl agility courses to stay there for a good training session and also you would need to be careful of pkers while using the wilderness course.
  14. If you think you could handle the constant high lvl monster assignments then go for Duradel, although you could stay with Chaeldar with mid-high lvl monster tasks and get your combat up a bit more so you could handle the harder tasks from Duradel a little easier. Also seeing as Chaeldar gives slightly easier tasks than Duradel you might find at your lvl you would get faster slayer xp, although I'm not 100% certain on this.
  15. I'm happy to say that I've never been scammed by any of my friends :) None of my friends ever ask or need to borrow any items from me so I never have to worry, I guess I have good friends :
  16. If you've done Desert Treasure upto the point where you get the ring of visibility you can go to the dungeon where you fight Damis. Just wear a salve amulet for the bonuses and should you ever need to bank the fishing guild or ardougn is pretty near by. Whenever the skeletons become non-aggressive just move over to the other spot inside the dungeon. Just be sure to keep an eye on your hp though as they can still hit a fair amount as they're level 80.
  17. I believe both forms drop the white berries and as you said it is a pretty rare drop so it would probably be a while before you got any of the berries from either form. But if you're up for the risk then it's probably faster to collect white berries from Red Dragon Isle in level 40 wildy or if you have completed the right quests you can get them from a spawn in Lletya. The fastest way to get to Red Dragon Isle would be to come from the ardougn teleport lever and run south through the gate and from there it's just a short while from there. Wearing no items while doing this would also be wise. As for leveling farming, planting the highest seed you can in every patch you possibly can while using supercompost would be a reasonably fast way to train farming. A good way to get seeds would be to thieve them from master farmers or from certain monsters as drops (dagannoths are good for herb seeds). Also a good way to get super compost would be to either pick pineapples from the spawn on karamja or get jangerberries from the ogre island near castle wars, but you would need a rope for each trip there.
  18. If you're training a skill like attack or whatever other skill you could find out if any of your friends are training the same one and train with them. Having a friend with you to talk to and train there beside you will help a lot to fight the tediousness of certain skills and could get you to train that skill for a longer period of time. If this isn't the kind of thing that would work for you, you could try stuff like listening to music or watching a movie while you train your skills, although I would only advise the movie if your training a skill that doesn't require much attention. These kinds of things can help take your mind off the length of time it takes for you train that skill and could also help you stay at it for longer. But still if you're not used to training one skill for long lengths of time you may want to build up to it and set yourself smaller goals first before going for the big ones. Then you could gradually set yourself harder goals so in time you can get used to lengthier training sessions. Hope that helped :)
  19. Congrats on getting such high levels in some of the hardest skills =D> Also good luck on achieving 91 runecraft and 99 farming
  20. Decent article but could have been a little longer with maybe a bit more detail on the different aspects of nostalgia that was being talked about.
  21. They're in zanaris and you need fungicide spray to finish them off I think.
  22. How easy is each boss to solo from easiest to hardest and why? BTW nice guide 9/10 =D>
  23. Unless I'm mistaken tele-block blocks all forms of teleportation including jewellery.
  24. Decent article although I don't agree with some parts of it. I do, however, agree that graphics aren't the only reason to play a game, there's the gameplay, feel of the game and other factors to consider too. But to me graphics can make a game what it is although not in all circumstances. For instance the Halo game series is renouned for having quality graphics but still being a thrilling and fun game to play because of the multiplayer options etc. The Runescape graphics aren't terrible, they're still decent and provide some good gameplay. I doubt I would even have given RS a chance if I first started playing RSC. Initially when you start up a game you look at how good the graphics are to get an idea of how good you think the game will be. If they don't look that great then your less likely to give the game another chance. Good graphics attract players and good gameplay (among other things) keep them attracted.
