  1. This is my first signiture i made myself, so please give me a rating and tell me how to improve. I kinda got sloppy with the hill and the chaos druid. Thanks, alot Thanks, One time
  2. Well... There are too many things you might be able to make for the profit to start at lvl 90+. I meen, bank ank, cabinets, tables, cupboards, straw bread, wood bed, wood bed with straw on top, wood bed with plants in it, wood beds with wool in it, metal beds(bronze to rune!) with straw on top, metal beds with plants in it, metal beds with wool in it, sleeping bags of straw, sleeping bags of plant, and sleeping bag of wool. Thats 34 items that can be sold at high prices! Not to mantion others things that jagex might add. This can easily be a money making skill OFF TOPIC: Like my sig? It's my first pixel sig, made it myself :D
  3. Well, you don't like farming, but others may do( I think farming is OK). Thnik of Jagex deleting your favorite skill. I'm sure someone out there would have farming as their favorite skill. And, why would they need to take farming out? Even if they do take out, carpentry won't magically be released. They would still have to work on carpentry. Who knows, carpentry could be worse than farming. It hasn't been released yet, so you really can't say that carpentry is for sure going to be a very good or bad skill. There are just way too many variables to make an opinion. I'm not talking about small variables, i mean variables that change the skill. How will carpentry make money? Well, that's pretty easy, that's like saying how can fletching make money. Well, lets say you make a sofa or bed that heals you to full xp. Or even a sleeping bag that heels you very fast to full xp, and it's portable. Don't tell me those items won't be sold for too much money! Maybe you can even make a house to sell items. May you can make racks, cabinets, bookshelves, and tables to store items for you. They would be worth some good money too. You really can't say it won't make money, because most likely, it will be right up there with slayer, runecrafting( runecrafting is a very good money making skill. Get 88 rc and you get double nats. You can hire nat runners for 11k per trip, and thats about a 7k profit per trip!), fletching, mining, fishing, and woodcutting. If money's what you want, carpepentry might be what you want/need. I can't tell for sure though, because it hasn't been released yet. Thanks, One time
  4. i think it'd be kewl mon.. cos think of it... if it's introduced with POH, and if it *is* like farming in that only you get to see your handywork... then: - possibility to make something like a wardrobe, for those who love to collect all the clothing sets etc.. instead of wasting valuable bank space - possibility to make your own storage chests for quest items perhaps. - possibility that you use your POH in a step of a quest (like hiding something/someone, or someone turns up there) ... i'm just letting the imagination run a little here.. as weakly as it seems to be doing  I gave and idea about that in one of my posts. It is that you must have the player's whose house it is to actually enter. You can see anyone's house just by typing the name. That is the idea. Thanks, one time
  5. I like the idea of being able to type in the person's house you want to see. Ofcorse, to enter the house you would need a password of the house you wish to visit. The house owner alone can tell you the password. That way, you can see other's houses, but it won't take too much space. Ofcorse, the owner of the house can also chose to select the people that can come into his/her house. Thanks, One time EDIT: This is the 100th post! :D :D :D
  6. I remember those houses, but they took them out a while agop. And yes, they were rumored to be the houses for carpentry and pohs.
  7. wait, if the questions when, then why u wanna know how? he might know it's going to come out(or so he thinks), but he might also wonder how it will work and how they will impliment it.
  8. Everyone that played at that time, including me, had that, not just you. I don't think that fletching and herblaw were ever on the stat page when not being able to them. Thanks, One time let me guess, this wasnt in the past 7months was it? Nope.. around 2-3 years ago
  9. Everyone that played at that time, including me, had that, not just you. I don't think that fletching and herblaw were ever on the stat page when not being able to them. Thanks, One time
  10. you don't even know what you'l have to do to raise carpentry? you might find it fun , don't say it sucks before you even tried it. i dunno , i think it will be kinda like farming , 1 week people will train that skill so hard , then slowly it will die , like farming , you nearly see no people at the plantations. well, the reason for that is perhaps because farming exp takes time, its not like fletching(easiest skill EVER)constant experiance as long as you have the $ and wood I think it should take 2 time as much time as when leveling fletching. why :?: : Well, if you make beds, maybe, just maybe, you might be able to rest on them getting you back to full hp, but it should take some time, like, lets say, 2 or 3 mins to rest. With chairs, you might be able to rest for like 1 min to heal you up till half hp.Carpentry should be a very usefull skill if they impliment it right, so it should take time. It shouldnt take you like 1 week to get from 1 to 99, because then, it's just way too easy. But the bad thing is i can't really think of a variety of things to make, unless it's like, bad chair, good chair, great chair, ect. I don't think Poh's should be able to have like dragons. It might have farming patches for the garden, and guard dogs in the back yard. Something sensible, not like a skill paradise. Thanks, One time
  11. You have a point there. But carpentry is using wood to build things. Crafting is often used in a much smaller scale than carpentry. Then again, since dragonhide is cut with a knife to make objects and it's called crafting, since in carpentry you often used knives and saws in the time RS is based in, which i think is Middle Ages, are both similar. It would make sense to do that, but probably, Jagex will just add it as another skill to increase the amount of skills that members have that f2p don't, considering it's going to be a p2p only skill. That's if they want more members. In that case, it is different, but when you compare cutting gems with carving dragonhide into armour seems alot like the difference that you pointed out.
  12. Well, Jagex has said that they were going to release carpentry way back in 2002. Then, last year, they said again when rs2 started that they will make a new skill called carpentry within 1 year's time. None of Jagex's promises of carpentry turned out to be true. When the mini quest in trai banu came out, there was a rumor that the mohagany and teak logs were for carpentry, which would be coming out soon. It was declared true by a few Jagex staff members. But, once again, around 4 months after the release(I may be wrong, if so, tell me) of the miniquest, carpentry is still not released. Do YOU beleive that carpentry will ever come out? If so, when do you think it will come out? As for me, I think it will come out in about a few months, but then again, i thought the same way when they added carpentry to the stats page while playing rs. In this post, I don't mean to say that Jagex are liars, I am saying this SOLELY for the purpose of knowing your opinions. PLEASE, NO FLAMING OR SPAMMING. Thanks, One time P.s. Urza, please don't say I'm one of the many tip.it chars that this person made in order to spaM, I'm sure he or she won't make a post this big to spam.
