It was officially stated. A DM is a deathmatch. A deathmatch involves no running, teleporting, or teaming. Yes, we also DO agree on that before we DM. So it is, in a way, an official DM.

Yeah, I'm f2p aswell, and I find this article only says stuff about P2P. But I guess that's not the point. My point is that the goal of Pking is to have fun and become richer. Fun is not teleporting. I admit, some of the rules stated in your article are flawed, such as far-casting. Mages are MEANT to do that. I'm fine with that. I'm not fine with teleporting, on the other hand. Many of the times, people teleport ON SIGHT! Honestly, you cannot get more lame than that. When my friend and I PK together, we never tele on sight unless the group has more than 12 people (In all truth, I don't tele, I run, but for the purpose of this, I will call it teleporting). Some tele on sight, such as groups larger than us! We were outnumbered 2:1, but we were about 3 levels higher than them. Guess what, they teled on sight! That is dishonorable, and you deserve to be called a noob for that. We, on the other hand, always at least try to defeat the opposition, which is the goal of PKing, other than fun and riches. Many times, we have made groups larger than us lose against us. At least try to fight! You say we PK'ers are afraid to fight anyone stronger than us? Then why do you defend tele'ing on sight? What is that but cowardice towards those stronger than you? Why do you defend people one-iteming? They are the ones who should be frowned down upon! They are the ones who are scared of losing all of their "precious pixels" as you say yourself towards PK'ers who believe in honor? By defending them, in a way, you are saying that we PK'ers are the ones who care the least about losing our items and the most about having fun. We are the ones that take expensive items to the wilderness. Or are we still pixel hoarders? As far as F2P goes, there is no way to hold your opponent. Some people are VERY dishonorable. For example, at the Dark Warrior's Castle, which is a major DM'ing/fighting spot. Some people DM there, which are level 90-115. I DM there occasionally too. Well - I used to. But now? Never! There is no honor there! They call a deathmatch, and they bring their teammates. What do they do? They stop attacking me so their teammate can attack me and then they run. I'm sorry, but if you don't find this dishonorable, I will call you a noob. Call me ignorant, call me a moron. It doesn't change the fact. We had an agreement. You broke it. ( I'm talking the agreement as a DM and you as the DM'er). You deserve to be ridiculed. I would adhere to the rules of our fight, yet you would not. Now, do you honestly believe there is honor in that? Thanks, One Time EDIT: To make it more clear for everyone, the DM's in question were official, and both of the Dm'ers did agree on having a DM; it wasn't just one side thinking it was a DM, but both side's knowing it was a DM. Often, it is the person who offers to have the DM who brings his teammate along.

I don't agree with this at all. Someone, please, tell me where the fun is in TELEPORTING? At least running requires SOME knowledge. Personally, when I go in the wildy, I have more to lose than to gain, yet I never bring teles. I run, instead of teleporting. I believe in wilderness honors. I've been PKing since around very early 2002, and I've been an "honorable" player. Call me stupid, but I believe in honor. I would rather die than teleport. Running, I'm fine with. Safing, I'm fine with. Using cheap items, I'm fine with unless they are very very cheap. Praying, I'm fine with! Teleporting. I am totally against!

mining is slower than every skill in the game No it's not. Try mining in the desert. Oh, and they killed level 1-5 varrock wildy too! They took the fence off, and level 1 wildy is a whole 5 SQUARES! They also took all of the trees out, so you can't even hide a bit!

Sorry, but it still takes 1 more second. Lets say z represents any random location you are teleported to. Lets say t is the time it takes to go to your designated place. So, z=t . With this update z=t+1 . Get what I'm saying? If you were teleported in that SAME random place, it would take you 1 more second in your total crafting time with the ditch than without the ditch. I'm not a huge RC'er, so I'm kinda split. I don't like the ditch though. It looks so ugly and un-wildyish if you catch my meaning. If they made it look better, I would approve a little more.

My thoughts EXACTLY! CW is fine as it is. No offence to the idea, but CW was the best when it was around a week or two old. aids in the basement, flags anywhere, ect. . CW updates have pretty much made CW supporters stop supporting is. I believe if it doesnt have anything wrong with it, don't fix it. Also, do you know how OWNAGE rangers are? A good high leveled ranger with a crystal bow can completely OWN in the towers, or just about anywhere! Thanks, OT

Not true. People did NOT start out with 9hp, the levels were different experiance, I think. But I KNOW that we started with 10hp. That is cool, I guess. My noob has 0 mage xp. It proves nothing. In the Runescape Classic tutorial Island, you could just drop the runes to get 0 mage xp and remain pure. Im not sure about ranged, though.

It cant be, because I havent gotten a single random event in five days, and some of those days I was killing lessers in Crandor.

My pure from rs1, Imm gonna start to train it again. Im not gonna go long term, but somewhat in the 50's. Advice is needed. Oh, btw, f2p pure. This, in memory of RS1, is a true pure. No prayer or magic will be ever trained. Feel free to add me and send me a pm. His name is, "purifiedpure". Oh, btw, this 0 mage xp proves that he is waaay back, before tutorial island. DAY 5 I get 50 str and I start pking. I got killed pking today while wearing full addy and rune scimmy. No, I am not sad, but on the contrary, I am happy. Why? Am I crazy? Am I stupid? Did I quit? No is the answer to all of these questions. MY questions are solved. Can I withstand the wrath of a team on my own? I can. A ranger and a 1 def pure were fighting me constantly for 10 mins. The 1 def pure was "1 on 1" against me, but I knew he'ed bs. Anyways, I own the guy, and his friend comes in. I own his friend, then decide I rather get the rune scimmy than his friend's ranging gear. So I'm fighting, and LAG gets me. 10, 13, at the same time: dead. Now, Im at falador making money through world 16 airs. DAY 4 Not able to do much today, as I have a full schedule. I dont do much, only get 45-48 str, and then log back off. DAY 3 I start this day off in the morning, getting 43 attack. Now, I have to go somewhere. I come back, and get 44 attack. Im nearly 45 attack now :), but I have to go somewhere after this, then do homework. This is gonna be a touch day. Finally, 45 attack, and I see that I hit 4 tens in a row! DAY 2 Well, i start the day off by training. I get 36 strength, but wait, what's this? I almost get 41 attack, because I accidentaly trained on attack. Have to be more careful now. Coandca adds me on HIS pure, and we become quick friends (well, atleast I do!). Also, we're gonna be pking buddys when our stats match. Hes a mage, so he trains faster than me. Now, Im training towards 45 strength today. I'm thinking of stopping at 40 strength today, but getting 30 defence, but Im not too sure about that. 37 str finally comes. Im gonna take a pic of my stats now. 38 str comes, 2 more, then Im gonna get 30 defence probably. I get 37 hp without knowing I was there. Next guard: 39 strength. Now Im gonna go pick some cabbage for the ooc. Nothing like cabbage to remove stress. I start to train, and now I get 40 str. Time to train defence I guess. Whoa, before I know it, Im 25 def! Whoa, time really flys! Im now 30 defence. I head out and buy rune scimmy and full addy. Now Im going to go to another training area. Guards ftw! I train with my new apparel, and I get 42 str without knowing it! Argh!I get 41 attack. I guess now Im going to have to train THAT to 45. Alright, Im at 44 strength already, nearly 45. After This level, Im gonna raise my attack some levels :). Aww great, I miss my 45 strength pic. now its tiime for attack. Finally, 42 attack. Time for bed :0 DAY 1: I was at draynor and Gasheart comes and gives me 100k. Good way to start of the day, huh? So, then later, I go and train. Im training at a less known area, which rocks. I started today at 32 attack and 32 strength, and leveled my attack and strength to 35. Im hoping for 36 or 37 attack before I sleep tonight. Alright, I reach 36 attack, and make a medium leveled friend, who seems to play from early rs2. While Im at it, I buy 150 trout and 100 pike for around 12k, which is a pretty good deal. Now I'm set for around 1 day of pure training. Now Im talking with my friend, which passes the time quite easily. I get 37 and 38 attack without even noticing it. 39 attack, finally. Im sooo close to 40. Im done for the night. Guess not. I turn the computer back on, and play runescape again. Remember, this is my first day in like 3 months playing more than 3 hours. Alright, 40 attack, so Im gonna take a night's sleep and hopefully get 45 str tomorrow. GOALS: 45/45 attack 50/60 strength 30/30 defence.

It wasnt all because of Runescape. There were some real life issues with it. Yes, many people show greed in Runescape. I think it's because no one will probably see them in real life, so they feel like they can act however they want. People also want to be ahead of others in this game, and feel that if you don't give them free stuff, that you waste their time, and so they complain and call you names. I used to host rune drop parties in rs1(when those parties were ownage). Now, in RS2, I stopped, because its too easy to gain money. In rs1, it was hard to gain money, and people went to parties for the heck of it. Thanks, One Time
