Not bad for a first, but for a start the shadows should be a darker shade of brown, rather than grey. EDIT: The shadows are also not right regarding the light source, the moon.

Well like in my avatar, you could do the top of it like that and make it sort of blend in. I'm not saying do the whole lot like that, I mean my avatar took me long enough, but perhaps just the top of the pile? And another thing, the wall and phats need some shading.
