Bah, no. I thought you asked what level it was, and I said 88. But it doesn't matter, I will be getting 89 today too. -

I'm sure this guide has already changed the way people think about Barrows. It's revolutionary, hehe. -

I'm inching in on 88 Range, will make 89 Range really easy. 90 will be hard, but anything is possible; we'll just see where the day takes me. -

Of course! I actually died with 9 Hp left, quite a weird thing. I died then ate at the same time so I had 9 Hp. -

The story of Walop, as told by the victim... It was more than a year ago, when I was just a silly innocent Runescaper. I was just barely able to equip dragon items, having just reached 60 defense and 60 attack. I wanted to celebrate these levels with nothing other than a dragon item. So I begged and pleaded to my fellow Runescaper (you know him as Dalcyte), for a single item... a Dragon medium helm. At this point in time you may be thinking that a dragon medium helm is no big item, but back when this took place, it was over 1.4M. Finally after giving in, Dalcyte lent me the helm, making me promise to return it. I was very content then with my awesome dragon medium helm and dragon battle axe, along with my full rune. I walked around gloating about it near both of the Varrock banks. But after a few days I began to grow bored of the constant gloating, and I wanted a bit more action. I was then so very naive as to not understand the prevelant dangers of the wilderness... And I ignored them. I walked north just a bit outside of Varrock's walls. I took a few more steps out, and I was at the crowded level 1 wilderness. I was enjoying the thrill of stepping out and in with my fancy dragon medium helm, showing off how reckless and brave I was to risk it. As again I eventually grew tired of this, I looked around for a poor sap who I could challenge to a fight. As a low level 70, it wasn't easy to find someone, but I did, a Ranger in full black dragonhide. As impressive as that should have been to me, I ignored it, and asked him if he wanted to fight me. He said sure, and I attacked. Of course I didn't have any food with me at the time of this fight, only adding to the supreme naivete that I possessed concerning the wilderness. This little fact didn't bother me however, as I began pummeling him quite easily. I was going to win. I hit him hard with my mighty dragon battle axe, and I knew I was going to win. It was going to be so sweet! I would get a PK in level 1 wilderness with a dragon medium helm. As the fight dragged on I was still handily beating him, but he was using food. Eventually he ran out of food and as I hit the last strike, and put him to very low health, he shouted the dreaded word... "Walop!!!" And just like that, as I was going to win, I heard a horrifying noise. I clicked the mini-map to get away, but what's this? Yes! Entangled! I hadn't even realized I was in a multi-combat zone. A mage had run in from farther north, and entangled me, then began pummeling me with water blast, then another mage came from the eastern side and used water blast as well. I thought I might stand a chance here if the entangle wore off. I sat helpless watching my health steadily go down as I frantically clicked the mini-map to get away. Then another entangle. 2 more Rangers answered the "Walop" call and began shooting me down. And then a meleer joined in the fun. I was doomed. I was hit with another entangle, and shortly after I went down. I was skulled. I was done... I respawned in Lumbridge without any items, horrified and shocked from what had just happened. I then received a PM from the player who I attacked first. He got the dragon medium helm. He then proceeded to rubbing it in my face, and describing how his team murdered me... "Walop"... I wanted to quit Runescape forever then, I didn't want to explain what had happened to Dalcyte... It was an absolutely awful experience (which I have never really gotten over--I still think about it a lot), and after that, I have never even dreamt of entering the wilderness with anything but f2p PKing gear with other friends. So there it is. The story of "Walop". It has been confirmed that "walop" was indeed a code signalling other people to attack me, which was set up by the group that attacked me. I wasn't Pile Jumped, I was attacked by an organized team. So that my friends, is why I hate the word "walop". -

Let's just say the word "walop" brought upon pain and misery to me, and caused a large amount of money to go bye bye. -

Last time I was a fool with a lot of money. It's a shame I was so careless with that money, because I feel I could have spent it so much more wisely now... But that's all behind me. And I definitely know what I'm doing now. I shouldn't need 3 months to get the Guthans back (like I did before), it should take a few weekends, a month and a half at the longest, and then I should be back on my feet exactly where I started. And I hope I'm making the right choice as well... It's hard to tell where I'm going at the moment, but hopefully I've predicted correctly. But, you know, it's just a game. If I get tired of it I'll stop playing, there's no pressure for me to do all of this. I do it because it's fun. -

THE NEW PLAN (BIG NEWS): I began writing this earlier, but my electricity went boom boom dead gone, so it all got deleted. It was quite a long passage too... But I'm going to try and type it all again. Here it is, the big news/new plan. I will be selling my Guthans and Torags to buy more chinchompas. I have put A LOT of thought into this, and have decided this is really my only option. I can't stand to do any more Barrows runs at the moment, it's just too painful to do right now. It has gotten painstakingly boring, and even though I've been having very good luck, I just can't do it anymore. There is nothing in this game really that keeps me interested... BUT! I am not quitting. That is the weak way to do things. I don't have an obsession with this game, if I don't feel like playing, I do something else; however I need something new to do. And I want to get my Range level 99. I do realize that selling my Guthans and Torag won't get me to 99, but it will get me to 92, and by that time, I should be ready to go back to Barrows. However risky this decision is to make, I am going to do it. I am hoping that I will flawlessly make it to 92 Range next week (sometime soon), and then regain the want to go back to Barrows. If I still don't want to do Barrows at that time, I don't really know what I'll do. I won't force myself to do Barrows, I'll just do other things until I figure it out from there. And please... While you're reading this, don't think I'm quitting any time soon. Because I'm not. I love this game, the only problem right now is funding my Range. I hope this will work, and below I have set out some things I plan on doing if Barrows is still blech when I get 92 Range. Yes, while typing the above paragraph, I have decided what I'll do if Barrows is still too annoying to go back to. My first mission will be 90 Fishing, and then I'll cook all of the Monkfish I get from that, hopefully getting me a decent cooking level as well. By the time I'd be finished with this, there is no way I'll be bored of Barrows, and I'll go right back to it, and getting my 99 Range. So there it is, my new plan. After I get 99 Range I will head back to Barrows and reclaim my Guthans (I have realized now that Monkfishing for the Guthans was a very stupid idea--although not necessarily stupid, as much as slow--so I'll do it the faster way by heading to Barrows and getting the 8.2M back. I can only hope that this plan takes off and works as well as I hope it will, and I hope I'll get the support from fellow tipiters and friends that will help me achieve all of my goals. Thank you for reading (although you probably just skimmed it), Beneford -

Hurray! Barrows Drop #11! I have no idea how much it's worth, so I'll check at some point later. I may need another item if this isn't worth enough, which poses quite a problem... -

This should explain why I haven't been on in the past 2 days. It just now (actually late last night) got repaired, so I finally have internet access back. You can't always count on some things happening, and now I'm behind 3 days. I need to get funding! -
people can still snake in rainbow road, and snaking isnt considered cheating, its tactics. Hmmm... Notice how I never said snaking was cheating. Interesting.

GAH! I missed the picture... when I wasn't even being attacked... Oh well, here it is! Two levels in one day. Now I'm really ahead of schedule. -
I can't reason...it doesn't work lol. Yes, i played once for about an hour and a half about a week ago. My parents do care though, but what i don't get is that i've been on the computer probably just as much as if i was playing rs, but i've heard no complaints whatsoever. I think part of it is just following through with "no rs for the summer" It's a huge pain, because i want to play, but i don't want to stir things up for a battle i'm not going to win. I'll be back during the school year...i hope. Bah, fine. Go bump my blog now, hehe.
