  1. I never said I was leaving. I'm not going to blog anymore-- which is exactly what I said. Thank you for making the TIF community proud. Leave. Egotistic people like you are more annoying than the stupid ones. Right. I'm egotistic. Maybe you should reconsider being a smartass before posting. It's obvious that you don't know me or my personality, nor do you know why I'm leaving this blog. I'm fed up with being disrespected on this board, and I feel like I don't need to tolerate it if I don't want to. You think it was a good idea for Zox to prod me before I had quit checking this blog? His comment was totally uncalled for, and was just asking for an angry response from me. So. I'm no longer going to be polite about this: shut the [bleep] up.
  2. So, you're leaving right? You need this to be explained to you? I should've had this locked. You really are an idiot if you can't understand that I'm saying "bye" from the blog and Blogscape forum. So once again, thank you kind sir for doing the TIF community proud. Well done.

  4. I'm not blogging on TIF anymore. This community is not one that I want to be a part of (to the extent of blogging) anymore. I would elaborate but if you were smart enough, you'd realize that there wouldn't be much point to that, would there? I'll post my occasional post and I'll be here probably everyday, but as you can see by my post count and join date I'm not the biggest contributor. Bye.
  5. Hey, what's up, I just want you to know, that you don't know me lol ... Anyways, I don't nkow why I'm saying this, since TIFers never change. I can't help pointing out the irony in this statement. You have no idea who I am either, do you? So you're going to go ahead and class me into this TIFer group that you've constructed inside your head? How ridiculous. I also read your entire thread; I believe that we have different perspectives on the definition of "no-life". However having said this, it's good that you are controlling your playing and everything, and I don't really like arguing (for one, I'm not even that good at it, and I also don't like trying to be mean), so I'd like to stop doing that now. I'm going to go ahead and rate your skills and everything regardless of how much you've played. 8/10. I apologize if I came off rude (I know I did), I just for some reason get a pang whenever I see someone with a high total level that hasn't been playing for all that long; I have to comment about it. Good luck.
  6. I've been playing this game for nearly 5 years (on-and-off), and you're total level is 200 higher than mine. That's disgusting. I don't usually say this, but if in a year you can amass that high of a Runescape level, you might want to be spending your free time in a more productive manner. Because that really is ridiculous for one year.
  7. I finished up 72 Woodcutting yesterday, but that's about all I had time for. Now today I'm going to finish Smithing, Crafting and Farming, all in one long shot. Then possibly Runecrafting because I'm really close. Woo.
  8. Well thanks for the +1, lol. Can you teach me math pl0x? .. Obviously you don't know what he meant. He received a "+1" for trying, and was being grateful for that. He hadn't added them together thinking the sum was positive 1. Don't be an idiot.
  9. I actually don't know how much done I'll get today. I'm really busy but later tonight I'll have some time. I'll probably have just enough time to get 72 Woodcutting, possibly a couple more levels. Also, I'll release a little hint here: I'm cooking up a very weird, and very hard goal for myself, but it will yield awesome things. I'm going to finish getting the quest cape first, and after that's done, EVERYTHING is going to be revamped for this new goal. So, here's the hint: It involves monkfish again.
  10. Well. I have some disgusting news to share... I began this day (July 1st) with 60 Woodcutting. I have ended the day with 69, almost 70. I have gained an estimated 429652 xp in Woodcutting today. Yes, 429k. Unfortunately since I've been unranked all day, Runescript had not kept track of any of it, so I've been forced to hand calculate it. I feel filthy and like a loser, but what's done is done. I'll get 72 Woodcutting tomorrow, and I'll finish up with the other skills as well, hopefully. And on a little side note: I have no idea how I'm going to have screenshots anymore... I run Runescape with a huge resolution (full screen, obviously) and SwiftKit can't handle the screenshots, but when I create them manually, they're gigantic. I'll figure it out eventually, but I was hoping someone might be able to impart some knowledge about screenshot taking now...
  11. The graphics are awesome. Really awesome. But... I'm stuck on Ape Atoll woodcutting Teak logs. Not exactly the picture of beauty, but there is a water source very close to where I am, and it's quite pretty. Once I get 72 Woodcutting I plan on visiting all of the places that I've heard to be the most beautiful-- especially Lletya. I'm up to 65, almost 66 Woodcutting now, and the progress is pretty good. It's killing me though, Woodcutting is. Worse than Fishing because I'm all alone (sad). But I will be done with it soon enough. And the graphics are amazing.
  12. A few updates. I've gained at least 60 total levels since I posted last (which is kind of a big deal), since I've been... SKILLING! Something I've never done before-- I've just gotten the levels as they've come to me pretty much (i.e. quests, quick leveling to complete certain things, etc.). But now, I'm doing some serious leveling. And.. my Hunter level is no longer 1, I'm afraid to say. It's 8. I completed and played Tears of Guthix. But now, I'm doing something awesome and fun. I'm going for the quest cape (Oh, and also, I have 99 Cooking banked. A little project on the side). Here are the levels that I have been gaining (Also, Rocking Out is a loser quest, and I had no idea that the requirements were so high, so I've got more Crafting to do as well as more Smithing): (This picture is kind of dumb, because my total level is now like 1560) And some other stuff I neglected to post: Yes, my 99 Range goal is still continuing. I'm just broke. A lot of stuff. I'm woodcutting to 72 right now, which isn't going so badly; I'm bored, but I think I'll be able to handle it (I'm at level 60, now). Then it'll be Thieving to 66 I believe, Hunter to 48 or whatever, and possibly other stuff. Uh. That's pretty much it. I'm going to try to keep this blog updated more often, but lately I'm finding it hard to keep doing so because no one really even posts on this guy anymore. I get the occasional "good luck!" but I miss the stuff from my friends (who have either quit or have stop visiting TIF, or all of the above). I'm doing it now to keep myself organized, really. But, regardless, enjoy.
  13. As for the release date, I just don't care. I just want it to happen, and I will be drooling until then. I think the general consensus so far is that when these new graphics are introduced to the public, people won't be impressed; I think that's a definite possibility, however I feel that most the E3-ers will be able to grasp the idea that it's a Java Browser-based game, and there level of expectation should change. However it's entirely possible that people will just be making direct comparisons (as in, not accounting for the technological inferiority) between the games, and will not be impressed. The introduction of Jagex to E3 I think is a wonderful look into the future, as it really shows that Jagex is putting a serious effort into improving this game, receiving feedback, and ultimately adding new features to Runescape. Needless to say, I'm excited.
  14. Recipe for disaster was an epic and enthralling quest, that people of all levels could complete to an extent (they could get some quest points out of it), while only those with some higher levels could totally finish all of it. The introduction of the gloves as a reward in that quest and kitchen utensils (especially the latter) was a success, as they were useful at almost all levels. That's definitely in my top five. Slayer rewards are pretty good too, although I don't see why people are saying that the update has "refreshed the skill", as there aren't that many options for your slayer points to be spent on. It's definitely a good update though-- I'm not complaining.
  15. Yes. I do. I run 6 days a week, one day for rest. I actually have a strict schedule for myself that I follow almost religiously. It's really effective if anyone would want to take a crack at it themselves. Monday and Wednesday I do an Aerobic workout: 2 mile, rest, 1 mile, rest, and then a half mile. I then do a core workout for like 30 minutes. Tuesday and Thursday I do an Anaerobic workout which alternates between hill sprint intervals and half mile sprints (2 minute-ish sprints, and four of them). Then I do a full upper body gym rotation. Then Saturday and Sunday I do a little kick-around with my friends and I do a bit of running; a medley of sorts. I'm heavy duty football (soccer) player so I need to keep myself in really good shape because next year is the year for college scouting for my age. I need to be in my best condition this year.
  16. I have a British Latin teacher at my school, who is also my adviser, and he has told me that those in Europe often impersonate us using a Texan accent. Generic southern kind of thing.
  17. I just watched it for the first time... That's just disgusting and disgraceful to take an innocent life. The sound the poor puppy made as it was being thrown was just awful... I'm glad that he's receiving punishment-- he most certainly deserves it.
  18. Haha, you're quitting because you died and now only have 69M? Hahahaha. That's hilarious. 0/10.
  19. I think it's a totally pointless thing to do. You won't ever meet unless it gets really serious-- there really is no payoff. I don't even consider it a real relationship, because it's not really. It's two people possibly thousands of miles away from each other typing to each, but never going to see each other (which differentiates itself from a long-distance relationship). It's stupid. Try a real social life instead.
  20. Lovely thread, this. I would have to say Joan Cusack. There is a deep and rooted hatred with a long story to accompany it on this one, but hopefully if you've seen the US Cellular commercials you would agree. This woman ruins everything that is good with the world.
  21. Farming seems to me to be a fairly useless skill in terms of the effects it has on the economy. I think it's just another 99 levels that you can put onto your total level, but really that's it. I could definitely live without Farming.
  22. Yes! Let's cure AIDS on the Tipit forums! Really, let's be realistic here. No matter how many people here collaborate on this, we're not going to make any advances discussing it on a Runescape board. And also, the idea of nanomachines is almost ridiculous. We could also cure cancer if we created nanomachines to latch on to each mutating cancer cell and destroy it! I don't think you quite understand what you're saying... When you are affected with AIDS or HIV, you don't just have a few hundred inactive cells-- you have trillions of cells. Trillions of active cells flowing through your blood stream. So, to stop these cells, you would need an equal number of nanomachines, correct? Well good luck creating more than a trillion machines-- such machines that we don't even have the technology NOW to create a SINGLE ONE! OK, so I'm not the person to be defending such science, as I really no next to nothing about the AIDS virus or how it works. I do know however, that it is a rapidly mutating virus that is incredibly hard to treat, because you can't continue the same treatment-- you have to switch them because of the mutations. So how would these nearly invisible machines recognize the virus? OK, sure, we've built the machine, we can mass produce them to the quantities needed. How do they recognize the virus in a mutated form that humans haven't even seen before? They can't. They can't decipher that which they are not programmed to see. Therefore, those mutated cells will multiply again and again, and continue to mutate. The puzzle that is the AIDS virus. The treatment that needs to be developed now is for the continuously mutating forms. If we can treat each form successfully for a longer period of time, and we can develop more and more treatments for the different forms, then we can consider the treatment a success. [hide=Mean]This thread really is a mockery to modern sciences. I'm sorry, but really, it is.[/hide] Edit: I can see Warrior beat me to the punch here. He knows much more about the disease than I do, but basically our message is the same. He just goes WAY more into depth. Edit Again: Wow, I would like to really apologize for the rudeness of my last statement. I know, and you probably know too, that you aren't exactly the person who's going to figure out AIDS right here and right now, that you're just speculating-- speculating to help fight a disease that kills millions of people. You're just trying to help and that's extremely admirable for you to formulate your own idea and try to work with others to solve the problem; it's just not realistic though, and that's what I was trying to say.
  23. Yeah! I did Smoking Kills yesterday because slayer rewards are better than sliced bread-- and sliced bread is pretty much as good as it gets. BUT, I severely underestimated the power of the insectoid minions in the final boss battle, and I was teh deaded. I lost my Dragon Boots, Pumpkin Helmet (AAGH), Rune Platebody, and some random jewelry (catspeak, ghostspeak, glory, wealth, etc.). I don't care all that much though, I had some money in the bank and I bought everything back except for the Dragon Boots, which I replaced with regular boring Rune Boots. I'm still really excited for slayer rewards though, and that is what I'll be off to now!
  24. Excellent to see you back! I had a few run-ins with you at the Piscatoris fishing colony a while back. You're a great guy. Good luck!
