  1. Will edit this post when I get home in class atm but also check out the website like www.the100.io or something. You get grouped into a permanent pool of 100 players with similar playing styles.its really cool :)

Also lmao at dark below original upgrade system. Lmaooo

    Edit https://www.the100.io

Also Sy I can relate, I went through the exact same process lol.

In pvp I'm now trying to master the incredibly annoying when done to you, but very effective run up, slide, SHOTGUN TO THE FACE.

  2. Hawkmoon is great, it takes some slight adjusting to get used to if you're used to using Thorn, but in a one-on-one battle I feel like Hawkmoon has the edge especially if you get one of those lucky in the chamber/Holding Ace bullets for a one shot precision kill. Thorn is still great though, I split my time between the two hand cannons,  Red Death and Multitool.

The most underrated exotic is 4th horsemen and it just happens to be the only one I don't have yet. :(

:o I've actually not heard of the 4th horsemen. I got my Thorn a few weeks back. My main goal now is Black Hammer and Ice Breaker.

For the record: how high was Bungie when they released the Dark Below?

I mean, Crota's End is pretty great, but everything else is just... what? Grind out a thousand bounties for the chance to get... an Embalming Orb at like Rnk 4. Nice.

    Damn it!

Everyone I know has it on the PS4  :|

I would point my brother at this thread if he still had any interest in Tip.It. He's on XBone but I think he's got a pretty permanent group set up.

meanwhile I'm learning everything about the game's meta through osmosis, somehow. Thorn bad, Gjallahorn good, something like that

    Sith <3
Yeah Thorn used to be pretty terrible, but now it's op. Sooo OP. but my KDR shot up up up the moment I got one. Too bad everything is getting nerfed :(
  3. Damn it!

Everyone I know has it on the PS4 :|

How great is the Hawkmoon? I've heard it's hella op.

Albel shame on you. First off, you can get lvl 20 in like, a day. Lol. Second off, the raids are where all the fun is.

And don't forget the greatest video ever made about anything ever: (The fun actually starts at 1:20)

  4. Did my Jad Reaper assignment at Fight Kiln and got the range version of the cape (only need melee now). Also, did A Broken Home and the replay to get Asylum Surgeon's Ring.

    jcSji.jpg

Holy shit, you actually did it!

That is the best ring in the [bleep]ing game. It makes Araxxor a lot easier. (That, when combined with that one ring that gives you 10% adren back after using an Ultimate.)

Side note: when I say best ring in the game: apparently Ring of Death got some upgrades or some shit, so idk how it compares to the new version. But it was a op beforehand.

  5. Hey everyone,

Does anyone here play Destiny? I purchased the game that included the Dark Below, and House of Wolves expansion packs back in June. I love this game! It sucks that I listened to all the players who said the game sucked way back when - I missed out on a lot.

With that said, I'd love to find some Tip.iters to play with! I have Xbox One, and if you play, hit me up! I've just started Raiding, and with my first attempt, I was able to complete Crota's End, and Vault of Glass on hard mode.

I just got the Gjallahorn, Word of Crota, and Fatebringer in one day (all within 1 Vault of Glass, and 1 Crota's End session :D)

Anyways, this topic is just here to discuss the game with the great (although kind of dying :( ) Tip.It Community.

  6. Hit 102 Mage and sold my loot tab for 53M total. Then made 100 supreme ovls and 150 holy ovls (7m) and bought some tanking gear. Forgot to screeny loot tab. Not quite 102 Slay yet, but I wanted to buy some tank gear to learn new roles. Currently sitting at 77.5m in spirit shards, and 21m cash. I have rage fires, merciless, virt wand, t85 gloves so I can learn tanking (Rago & Durzag/minions). Plan to buy glaivens, t85 range gloves and mh ascension once I have the money, I already have vengeful.

The first drops I want from Durzag are t90 Mage and range tank boots and gloves. That will let me sell t85 and free up some cash.

Also, got 2 chewed bones from Miths earlier today and just used them on the barb pyre and on the 2nd one i got a Dragon Full Helm! My first DFH, it sold for 6.3m

How the [bleep] am I going to do shield of arrav

I'd be more worried about imp catcher.

Ye a time heavy quest much harder than a quest that requires a partner in a game that has, at most, 200 people logged on

Wow. I'm blown away. You Sherlock, you. I'll have you know that I spent hours meticulously constructing that statement to be infallible in every way, and yet you got me. Drats.

  8. It's not entirely about whether people can get the money though. One shouldn't underestimate the fact that a number of people (for various reasons) have more free time than money available to them. And other people like myself enjoy playing F2P and don't want to be bombarded with a million reminders to subscribe, or perhaps even pay for membership and want to PK on F2P to find a bigger crowd of people.

But if you become a member, then you aren't pestered to subscribe ;)

That said, I couldn't really make out what the first few posts were about. They did have a "YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING!@!@!@!(#Y&(*!@$#OHR" rule for a while there in the Wildy, but no one really cared. People are fixated on what Pk'ing *used* to be - but the issue is not the risk, and it's typically not the reward either. The issue is that RS *used* to have an extremely large player base that PK'd, but those players left for the most part. They were replaced by people who didn't like to PK - or at least not as much. Jagex has put out some pretty decent updates to OSRS wildy - and still? It's crazy empty.

Meanwhile: All the bossworlds are full - the player base has merely shifted over the years.

  9.

It actually hasn't gone private. :P It's just a joke regarding a recent controversy on the website Reddit the other day, in which many of the subreddits (or subforms) went private to protest an admin on there getting fired.

A moderator making an all caps title.

    God you're bad.

If Leik makes all cap blog titles on whim... I wonder what else he does, with all of his power...

I vote for a Congressional* Oversight Committee to review what Leik likes to do when he thinks no one is watching.

*Or whatever the Icelandic version of Congress is --  Ice Congress sounds right.

  10.

peaked as in it already crashed? pls no :'(

Nah, wouldn't say crash necessarily. Just rares went crazy for a day or 2, like all partyhats reached max cash and over, even purple, Wreath went as high as 450m, Black santa hat went to like ~830m like I said.

But then the hoarders dumped their phats so prices dipped a bit, but things are still really expensive compared to what they were just a couple of weeks ago.

    Phew.

Thanks! That gives me a few more days/weeks to procrastinate selling it, and then forget all about it, only to log back in at 120m Black Santa hats.

Tune in next week for "really Saru, you did it again?"
