I have 2 99s and a high total. I'd trade those xp for more levels in my lower skills for sure.

Sometimes they get very lucky. The one time I died, he never splashed, and hit me about halfway to the teleporter. I tried running, got only a step or so before being tied up again.

They don't often really bother me, at my mage level / combat level combo. Splash splash.

Yeah, teleblocking is the only way you can kill a smart crafter. That and luck. I've seen several 94+ mages attack me, but they always ice. Ice is easy to get away from. One click teleport, buhbye!

It's quite funny - all that splashing of level 70 mage trying to ice me. The ones trying to melee me just get an "awww, how precious!" I love to toss insults at them, kinda like Spiderman. \

Looked like the area to the west of the abyss was boiling with red dots, dunno if that was it or not.

Infested with RC pkers between 83 and 91! There have been at least two out there for more than an hour, and several times there were three or four. Granted they're all lame (either icing or too low to teleblock), but it's kinda funny.

You make a good point, ddr. I do think you and I underestimate the amount of "skill" involved in a 99 cape. Sure I can buy 99 in several stats - but the cash doesn't come from nowhere. I'll tell you straight up that it has taken lots of savvy for me to get as far as I have with skills, and not be totally broke. I have strategies for getting the best price and/or fastest/cheapest xp that didn't spring fully formed from Zeus' brow. Sure, it's a different kind of skill, but skill nonetheless. Personally, I think that supermerchants have the best skill of any in game, since theirs is actually usable outside of runescape.

Tis true, time is time. But honestly, the Legends cape takes skill, too. Less skill, yes, but still more than skill capes.

Yes, but even the most moronic fighter can, with the right equipment, get a fire cape with less time and expense than most of the skill capes.

As much as you call capes "noob" capes, even the easiest takes many hours and lots of cash to earn.

New goals. Once I have these ~20k natures done, I'm going to sell 10k of them and get 30k essence. I'll need 5k more hides for 90 Crafting.
