  2. I am trying to land 99 Summoning while Enlightenment Aura is up. I am currently at 9684577xp, level 95. I'm counting crimsons just for simplicity. 96: 478 Iron Titans 97-99: 7931 Pack Yaks 4205 Crimson Charms required with Aura 1179 Crimson Charms banked 3026 Drops required 7 Aura resets left (from today) 433 crimsons per reset

    Back again

    Never thought it would happen, but I am playing again. My account was stolen around 2012, apparently, and I lost everything. But dear Ard Choille gave me quite a bit to get started again. Currently questing and pulling the low skills (Div, Dung) up to "reasonable" levels. I suspect 2400 total will look like (26 levels): 80 Div (9) 90 Slayer (1) 89 Summoning (1) 73 Dung (3) 85 Str (1) 89 Agi (1) 85 Def (2) 90 RC (3) 90 HP (1) 89 Atk (1) 91 Smith (1) 91 Mining (1) 91 Cons (1) We'll see if I stay interested that long. Right now, questing is kind of fun!

  11. Rolled to 50 Dungeoneering today, all solo. I have a Gorgonite spear and platebody bound, plus 125 Gorgonite arrows. A few reflections on the skill: The pathfinding algorithm can be VERY bad, especially in rooms with movable obstacles (barrel room, statue room). The over-99 skill requirement doors are stupid. I think the enemy combat levels are wrong. A level 50 warrior shouldn't be able to nearly kill me - especially when I am in full Gorgonite. Maybe they're "elite" units like in WoW? Soloing isn't bad, but losing everything at logout sucks, especially at higher levels.

  13. Frankly, the best bit of new to ME is the Summoning combat levels change in the creature spawn. Since my Summoning is very high for my level (86 summoning at 116 combat), I was getting badly beaten sometimes soloing by very hard monsters. Now, it'll go on my F2P combat - 105 - which is going to simplify things greatly.
