Im really tired tonight, but after reading that article i just had to tell 0dd that it was a great article and i agree 100% with it. His solutions are simplistic, yet they work, and the entire article reflects my personal feelings to this dilemma. Great job man, two thumbs up for this T.I Times.

Sorry but im not buying a single word of this article. Jagex's customer support STINKS. I keep a spreadsheet of all my queries, the type of response, if it is relevant, who answers it, etc. At a 2:1 ratio of Auto to staff responses And a 60% unrelated response (whether its auto or staff responded) and queries that have taken almost two weeks (YES TWO WEEKS) to be responded to are pathetic. If you called a mcdonalds restaraunt, you would get better customer service than Jagex gives. With over 200K paying members (a guess) then they should stop adding worlds in atlantis and mars and hire some more staff. I wont be supportive until unfair bannings, week long response waits, etc disappear.

No offense whatsoever to Kiara Kat as she brilliantly explains to those that cannot comprehend the basic rights we are given, but the article basically says that A biased article was published, Jagex got into angry mode, and although the article was legal, as we have freedom of speech & press; we arent allowed to make them upset. Sorry, im not putting my quarter in the machine, i still stick by the rebellion side when it comes to inequities in runescape, regardless of number of cases and how jagex "strives" to tie the loose ends. All i have to say is this article is by far the most truthful, decent and badly needed article i have ever read. The Editor names about players being banned for telling friends about a website name and being banned for this, without using a URL in their sentance. I am one of those people - luckily enough i only got a black mark. Apparently "yeah you will have to search us on the web, i cant say the url" is advertising to jagex....even though MOD EMMA V told me that she wouldnt reccomend it, this doesnt mean its definitely illegal to a staff member who should know the rules inside out. As well 5 player moderators said they dont think its illegal. Way to go Jagex - Once again your *intelligent* staff has found the true rule breakers.... :roll: (Sorry if this second part is inappropriate, mods delete it if it is too offensive) Second - regarding the inappropriate names is another issue. A friend of myne that had an account named O R E gasm that was a pure skills character. He had a very high fishing level (80+) as well a very high cooking level. He had trained this account for serveral months and even obtained a yellow partyhat on this account. Yep - You guessed it, after MONTHS the account was banned. Once again sorry if the above is offensive, but it does relate to the topic. Simply a great article. Thats all i can really say. And with his statement about people that bought partyhats during the rs2 depression, take a look at this: My partyhat is worth 4473 times more NOW than what i paid for it.

Pixels simply arent worth devoting time to the point where its dangerous - think where rs will get you in 5 years? Thats why hacking, scamming, etc is so low ;)

This article is very interesting in the sense that not only does it relate to the game but it also relates to any other game, chatroom, message board, etc. However, i found this article to be a little...boring, to be quite honest. It simply points out the obvious truth of runescape. However you need to remember, the majority of people that play runescape are children, kids, teens, etc. I speak for all of us that simply "cutting corners" and being a lazy typer is definitely not a good habit, as it can even jump the gap between computer and homework (AAAH!!). I feel that articles such as "Call me a noob, i dont care" and "homeless new items" are much more interesting and really spark ideas, rahter than stating the obvious that the runescape language, grammar, and basically all text in the game is, and always will be garbage. Intesting = 7.5/10 Relation To Game = 7/10 Importance = 6/10 Overall an O.K. Article
