weild:abysmal whip
I'm glad I have an abyssal whip and not an 'abysmal' one.

It isn't sloppy security... NO computer or website attached to the internet is completely safe from hackers, viruses, etc. My account wasn't even locked at all, so I'm assuming that only the people whos passwords and usernames on tip.it matched their rs username and password actually had their account locked?
It is sloppy, when I've posted about it not once but three times dating back to March.

Smithing is a good money maker in p2p with cannonballs. Buying steel bars and smithing cannonballs turns a reasonable profit. Smelting your own bars then making cannonballs is even better.
In f2p I'm not sure what you'd really do for cash outside of making plates and alching them.

I joined members at level 20... curiosity got the better of me.

Fine cloth seems to retail for about 10k per. As it's a reasonably rare reward, even burning higher level shades.
The bark is insanely easy to get, axe + hollow tree + 2 minutes = inventory full of bark, so don't pay much for it.
Then you need to take it to the wizard and he'll charge you about 70 - 80 k to make the various bits and pieces.
So to buy and make the set you'll probably need around 200k.
To buy the set you're probably looking at anywhere from 210 to 240k depending on the motives of the seller.

Jagex advise against using any third party clients as they may install keyloggers or other malicious code on your system and compromise your account.
That said, The swftswitch client uses the exact same java applet as the runescape client, it simply has other things like links to specific serves, stats lookups and calculators that you could otherwise have arranged on your screen alongside the jagex runescape client. Swftswitch isn't against Jagex's rules because they only refer to software which provides you with some advantage over the game, whereas swiftswitch merely provides the convenience of grouping together commonly used applications that are not advantageous in any manner.
However, talking about swiftswitch is against the rules of the tip.it forums.

73 for hitpoints, cooking and mining. 52 for farming.

Druidic ritual, then make a ton of strength pots to take back to f2p with you. Fletch a couple of thousand arrows. Get your agility up - the rapid energy restoration carries over into f2p.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I've been killing hobgoblins for quite awhile and the only spears I've gotten are bronze.
Mossies have a good drop rate for mithril spears too, which also suit the quest.

RC Pkers are the reason you can sell those 10,000 nats for 3mil as opposed to less than half that amount.

Visit the herb identifier in Nardah if you don't know anyone able to ID your herbs for you.
What I do is keep herbs at the very top of my bank - so that nothing pushes them around when I take things in and out. With my Unid stacks lined up to correspond with their identified bretheren.
A more common "scam" with unidentified herbs is stacking the decks. Basically stripping out say 70-80% of the valuable herbs. Nothing bites more than spending 200k on unid'd herbs to find a grand total of 1 rannar. Unfortunately there is not much you can do to prevent this one.

Then get your white knight ranking up and you can buy the matching armour and other weapons,
You raise your white knight ranking by killing black knights.

Heh, Yah I hadn't ever binded like that before, but I got talismans and from killing stuff in the abyss and it worked for me. I also got a giant bag while in there, which I had never gotten before (and still can't use). :P
Me too, and I forgot to wear a binding necklace too the first time. That giant pouch is just sitting in my bank saying "Go on, you know you want to grind RC up to 75."

Iceland are doing some very impressive work converting over to hydrogen. They use their abundant geothermal energy resources to extract hydrogen.
Biodiesel would be my pick for a viable alternative fuel. Hydrogen requires too much in the way of re-tooling manufacturing plants and the like to be readily adopted (aside from the dificulties in producing H2 as a fuel).
nuclear energy would be viable if smarter people were in control of itNuclear physicists not smart enough for ya sparky?

Bob's axes in Lumbridge... and I think the place in Port Sarim.

I believe 1337 5p34k was used by hackers to communicate with each other?
Most of it was coined back in the days of BBS systems where sysops would try and filter out words that might attract undue attention from the authorities... like "hacking". So replacements like "hax" were used to avoid the word filters.

With that new quest Swan Song is there a bank nearby?
Certainly is... Well, a banking npc anyway... but you need to finish the quest... you can see him while you're doing it, but he tells you he can't bank for you until you save the colony.

Indeed I did... nice pickup.
Although there is seaweed dotted around the karamja coast... it's a pain to run around picking it up.
-
Entrana with a glory going Edgeville -> abyss -> law rift (thanks pokemama) -> entrana -> collect seaweed -> Edgeville is still IMHO the quickest way to collect seaweed... however you have the hassles of abyss pkers and recharging glories.
The picatoris fishing colony is almost as quick, and is very close to the bank and has no aggressive monsters or pkers involved.

Get mIRC or any other IRC client.
Log onto the server at irc.swiftirc.net (port 6667)

I think harder as well... if they had set the level cap at say 70, and made the xp curve a little steeper they could have a) done away with a number of 'pointless' levels (levels where you don't gain anything but the level itself) and B) left room to expand once a number of players maxed out.

76 is the year I was born in.

Bucket respawn near the Burgh De Rott well also... about a map's worth North West of the bank.
Agility Nerfed?
in General Discussion

Am I alone in thinking that the rate at which we now fail agility obstacles has risen since the last update?
About a week ago I put myself to the task of completing MEII and got as far as the handholds before deciding my agility wasn't up to scratch. Off to train a few levels I went and for a time everything was going swimmingly. Now, since Tuesday's (my time) update it seems my failure rates are absolutely abysmal. Having the benefit of an almost side by side comparison I don't think it's just a case of me looking at my past performance through rose coloured glasses. Prior to the update I'd collected 25 tickets at the Brimhaven arena and not been caught on the darts once (at around level 59), afterwards it was taking me three or four attempts each time with potions. Where previously a fail on the Ape Atoll course was a rarity, it's a red letter event when I can get around without failing now... and my level has increased - it should be getting easier not harder.
Were we nerfed or am I just having a run of bad luck?
