  1. they are both 16 steps from back to furnace.

But neitznot has a 1 click bank and no door to close itself between bank and the furnace. Also you can see - and therefore click - the bank from the furnace and vice versa at neitznot making the whole process much quicker for significant smelting runs.

  2. i didnt read the whole thread because i dont have time, but if you people payed attention, if you pay with cash, it is $6.99 a month U.S. Dollars, not 5, so many f2pers cant afford it

If you can't afford an extra $2 a month you have bigger worries than whether or not your favourite game gets updated.

and the more free players, the more the adverts are worth, so they increase as players increase.

Assuming all free players dutifully click through to the advertising website maybe. Do you?

why not just knock it down to 7 members updates for 2 months, then 1 F2P update? This seems resonable to me.

It seems reasonable to you that when someone gives you something for free you should stick your hand out and say "MORE FREE STUFF!!" ?

F2p do give a bit of money to jagex, by the ads, only on an estimate by me of about 10% of what members do (correct me if its more), but its still enough for them to deserve more than just the 1 update a year.

F2P give nothing to jagex. The money Jagex earns from advertising comes from the advertisers, not the free players.

Some of the F2p crowd cannot afford the membership, maybe because of poor family or because of other situations, but they should'nt be as punished for that as they are.

They's not punished. They are given a free game to play, how is that a punishment?

  3. The fletching skill which allows you to construct your own arrows (in conjunction with the smithing skill) is members only. As a f2p player your options are to buy from other players, pick them up when other players leave spent arrows on the ground, kill monsters that drop arrows or buy from shops.

  4. Well it would be not fair if i would get banned because i didnt knew that this is unlegal,

Generally not knowing that something is "unlegal" is not a valid defence. You agreed to the terms and conditions when you signed up. You deserve to be banned.

by the way now on top of this website i can se Advertisment of website selling gold

This website is not run by Jagex, and the advertisements that run on this website aren't placed there by the administrators of the site. The fact that you see advertisements for something doesn't mean you won't be banned for it.

  5. I need to kill 800 knights for adept rank so I can buy them. I need to know how long this will take.

Depends on how you kill them. Kicking them to death will take a lot longer than using a cannon. Choose your preferred method, time yourself killing 10 of them, then multiply by 80.

  6. Hello it would be good to get some extra money, but is selling/buying ok with Jagex rules? I know rule 12"Real life item trading" but i am not sure if mone go into that rule.

Real life trading means exchanging any real life goods or services for runescape items. If you trade real money for runecape gold pieces you are in breach of rule 12 and deserve to be banned. In fact you probably deserve to be banned for simply thinking about it. What point is there in playing a game if you're simply going to buy your way through it?

  7. Chicken boots are cool, the rest of the suit is a bit meh. I've already destroyed all but the boots. But if people like the suit good for them, the game is about having fun and not every aspect of it will be fun for everyone... I'm pretty happy that 95% of the game is fun for me and I leave the rest alone.

  8.

Yes, but 4/12 is a thursday, and it's not like they've never had an update on a thursday. (4/12 is 2014 backwards with the 0 replaced with a / )

Yes, but 4/12 is the fourth of December.

no, 4 is the Month 12 is the date.. thats how most Americans look at that :-k like my bday is 9/22..September (9) 22

    Jagex are not Americans though.

Both systems are rather silly though, the most efficient and correct way to write it would be 2007/04/12, just like we should start our addresses with our postal codes and work down to the street number instead of the other way around. I doubt it will catch on though :)

  9. Im not sure how many you need to catch, but it does decrease from +5 to +4 quite quickly, so maybe take a few?

All stat increments and decrements seem to operate on a counter, they all happen at the same time, so to get the most time at the highest level when using a pie, potion or ale to boost your stats you can get your health down a few points then watch for the moment that it jumps back up by one. Then you will get the full amount of time out of your potion.

If you take the potion just before that moment you will find that your level drops straight away.

  10. Yeah, sure it's true*.... but tell me what server you're going to be on before you try it.

*In-case you missed it, that should be taken to read: "Of course not, don't be silly, someone is just trying to get you killed to take your items"

  11. Cut & burn is a good strategy because it lets you use trees that are further away from the popular cut & bank spots. Trees that are closer to banks get very busy, while those that are farther away are largely ignored. Case in point being the Southernmost willow behind Draynor bank. The Northern ones are usually packed but the last one is nearly always empty.

  12. Well perhaps the author would like Jagex to work in unison with the parents

I tend to disagree on a pretty fundamental level. If the parents don't like the game as Jagex have made it, then they can a) not pay for it, and B) stop their children from playing it. There are a multitude of games out there that are family friendly. The notion that Jagex is under some compunction to modify their product to suit the conservative morality of a vocal minority is wrong in my estimation.

Personally I feel Jagex created the game therefore they (along with the parents) must assume some responsibility.

I don't see any basis for this. Jagex is not under any responsibility to joint-parent anyone's children just because they created a computer game. Would you hold a car-maker responsible if a 13yo got behind the wheel and took a car for a spin? Or perhaps the makers of any of the many driving simulators, or toy cars that promote motor vehicles to people too young to drive. I wouldn't, I'd lay the blame fairly and squarely at the feet of the parents.

    So why shouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t they?

Quite simply, it's a matter of personal freedom. No-one is forced to play Runescape (that I know of), they do so willingly. Jagex operates in a free country. The game contains nothing that contravenes the laws of that country so they are free to distribute it. The people who play it are well within their rights to exercise freedom of choice and play or not play the game as much as they like.
